Hello - I created a dynamic UD8 calc for a cube view that shows 12 months of actual, forecast and budget periodic amounts. The calc is designed to show zeroes in the actual scenario column for a period if its POV time is greater than than the global time. I added it to the cube view and it works perfectly when I run it for 2024M12 - the actual columns are all zeroes, while it displays the budget and forecast numbers. When I run the CV for 2023M12, since our global time is still 2023M11 I'm expecting zeroes to be in the Actual column, but I'm still getting the opposite sign YTD "no data zero view" totals instead. Below is the formula in the UD8 member - let me know what changes I need to make. I appreciate the assistance. Hello! I have a user group who needs a specific set of data pulled just after close every month in order to populate other reporting tools they use. Here's the formatting they require: I'm struggling on my options because this results in about 16M+ rows of data. I get an error when trying to export the CV and a QV won't show all rows even with the max # of seconds set to the largest number (which I believe is 600). A DM extract will not show the right format but I don't think a QV can be auto run and sent via Parcel Service. What are my other options? Thanks for helping me brainstorm!

I am trying to incorporate patterns in the advanced charts and bi viewer bar charts. I don't see any option to select the color patterns. This is one of the examples of the pattern mentioned below -> Light Blue 48A6EA Dotted 90%  

I think I may have found a bug with workspaces but wanted to see if anyone has encountered this issue before.  I am displaying a dashboard with an embedded Cubeview that has a link to a dashboard in a non-default workspace.  When I launch the dashboard, I see the drill link but nothing happens when I click on it.  However, if I add the same dashboard to either the Default workspace, or the workspace where the dashboard resides that I am launching from, the link works without issue.  It seems that if you want to follow a link in a Cubeview in a dashboard it either has to be in the same workspace or in default.  I guess it might make sense because when adding the link in the Cubeview there is no option I am aware of to specify a Workspace so OneStream might get confused as to where to find the dashboard.  Has anyone else had a similar issue or know if I am missing something?

Hi All,   I have created a cube view in which rows has data with ChildrenInclusive like parent with child members in a same row  and base members are aggregating to the parent. Here I need to change the format like bold, color, Text color to the parent member only. Can anyone suggest how to do that.   Thanks in Advance.

Hello, How can I see the signage from aggregation weights. For example I have these 2 account groups in a hierarchy: PL44000000 has aggregation weight 1 PL43700000 has aggregation weight -1 When I show these in a cube view with SG&A.Children.Base all numbers are showing as positive numbers, which makes it difficult to see how it adds up. This example is still straightforward, but I have some more complex use cases.  Is there a way to show the numbers based on the aggregation weight, or just show the value from the aggregation weight on the meta data member (-1, or 1 in this example)? Hi all, new OneStream consultant and developer here. I am trying to build out a cube view for a client and I think I need to use CV math for one of the columns, but I am not sure... I need my 'Var%' column to show the difference of Actual and Budget scenarios, which I assume should be very simple, but I do not know how to do it.  Here is a partial screenshot of the Excel report I am re-creating: The row this intersects with is using the following: a gross profit account and a U8 calculation for percent of rev. The current data is showing the percent of rev for the Actual column. Do I need to use CV math within an override to get the desired result?  Thanks in advance!!!

Hello,I made a Grid View containing all WF Profile statuses for the current period & cube: I am struggling to do one little trick, changing the column 'Status' icon accordingly ... In the Grid View, I am under the impression that it only recognises 'Status = 2' as green circle, 'Status = 10' as red circle and 'Status = 1' as Blue circle and 'Status = 0' as Empty circle. My question: How can I add 'Locked WF' image, 'Locked, Not Started' and all other states ? Is it possible to put an image of our picking in the grid view's status column ?Temporary solution:I Used the 'Report Designer', since it is the only component I found that enables me to choose an image of my picking but It's not as satisfying as having it in a BIViewer/GridView. Hi All, I am building a roll forward form and I am able to get Beginning and ending balance through business rule. I am not able to input activity manually in activity roll forwards as the fields are disabled. Please see the attached picture. I have checked all POV and everything but could not solve the issue. I am attaching the picture of POV and flow member for your references.  

Dear Community, we have a requirement to add Pie chart (BI Viewer Component) to the dashboard reports. we were able to see the pie chart when we ran the BI Viewer component but when attached to the dashboard it does not show the pie-chart. Here are the properties we used for the dashboard. Any solutions to this will be helpful and appreciated.  

I have a cube view that utilizes a shared Row and Column set. The row set has roughly 300 rows. Is there a way to Supress NoData Rows across the entire cube view - as opposed to modifying the setting row-by-row? Thanks, Matt

Hello, The customer would like to explain a dollar variance between Budget and Actual by leveraging 4 columns of data to explain the difference displayed: enter a dollar amount, a combo box to select a type of UD1 data timing (Perm/Temp) and another combo box to select UD8 driver type (Audit Change/Scope Change) with the last column for a comment.  The comment input cell has the following: V#Annotation with UD3&UD5 based upon the CV POV selection and the remaining UD's set to None; V#Annotation:UD1#None:UD8#None. For reporting purposes the customer would like to associate the commentary entered with the Combo Box selections made for UD1 and UD8. V#Annotation:UD1#Perm:UD8#AuditChange What is the best method to do this? I have tried the following: api.Data.Calculate("U8#AuditChange:V#Annotation:U1#Perm":O#Import" _& " = U8#None:V#Annotation:U1#None:O#Top")

I am altering a cubeview that is pretty basic, one column and a handful of rows. This CV had a parameter to dictate the scenario. However, I have deleted the parameter from the cubeview rows and set the POV to my desired scenario. When I go to run the CV, I still get the scenario selection has a pop up. How can I get rid of these selection if the parameter is no longer being utilized in the CV?

Hi All- We are trying to create a BI Viewer to compare Current v Previous Qtr OPEX. We look at the end date (only two end dates possible of course) to create a Current QTR measure (max end date) as below. However, I can't seem to get the syntax for the measure correct. Not sure what I am missing which is generating the error below: A Summary Expression is Expected    

I have a requirement for a book to produce different views (i.e. Periodic, QTD, YTD) based on the WFTime. The periodic report should always appear no matter the WFTime, however the QTD Version will only appear in certain months. I cannot get the "if" statement shown below to trigger.  I have an item to change a dashboard parameter present in the CV as well.  Is my syntax incorrec on the "If" statement?  Any help would be appreciated!     

Hello Everyone,I am using a Delimited List Parameter which results a list of comma separated values from SQL through XFBR.When i use this parameter in Dashboard, it always shows as blank when it starts up, even though i have set the default value property.Looks like its a limition at this point of time.Are the any alternate ways we can use the default value for Delimited List Parameter in Dashboards ?

Is it possible to format cells inside a table in a report component so that the value displays as both a bar and a value similar to how it looks in the BI Viewer grid component in the image below? Dear Community, I am struggling with components that are coming from 2 differents workspaces. Right now, I have a dashboard which is in Workspace A, that have a cube view cube and buttons to open other things in dialogbox from the same workspace. It's working fine on its own. I have dashboard in workspace B, where I need to embed the dashboard from workspace A. I ensured that both are shareable workspaces, they also have shared workspace names. My problem is, and I can see it in the dashboard design mode, none of the parameters that are in the embedded dashboard from workspace A are shown, so it behave like these input parameters don't exist and its messing up everything. I've seen these options since V7.4 related to "Embedded Custom Control Dashboard" but I don't know if I can use this to solve the situation ?   - Parameters from Dashboard A (workspace A): - Parameters of Dashboard B with embedded Dashboard A (Workspace B). Hi All,  I would like your help. I installed OneStream as a plug-in using MS Excel. When I try to create a pull or refresh a sheet this is what it shows: "Error processing dimension. The item was not found. Dim, OneStream.Shared.Common.DimPk, 0-1".  Any chance you know how to fix this issue?

Hi,I have a cue view report of below settings:Net Sales row: A#NSStd cost row: A#SCgross Margin row: GetDataCell(A#NS - A#SC):Name("GROSS MARGIN") Col1: S#BudgetCol2: S#RollingBud Col3: GetDataCell(CVC(Col1) - CVC(Col2)):Name("VARIANCES")Col4:GetDataCell((CVC(Col1) - CVC(Col2))/CVC(Col2)):Name("VARIANCES%")BUT you can see below the col3 and col4 for the gross margin cell has a wrong calculation.It should be 335501-1736404 = -1400903 but it shows +1080805.May I know why there is error and how to fix it?
