Hello, I have several Bi Viewer reports and I have recently upgraded my Solution to V8.0.0.15105 and I am facing issues with BI Viewer component not rendering graphics when used in a dashboard. FYI, this works fine in V6, V7. For example: I have defined rules on column "Time Graph". As you can see from below, it works fine in edit mode but when rendered in dashboard it doesn't shows graphics. Is there some setting or something I am missing in V8. Thanks.    

Hi - I am having issues with using the PriorPeriod12() in a row override. The following filter is supposed to use the PriorPeriod12() function to return the same month last year (e.g. input of 2023M10 should return 2022M10).  GetDataCell(T#|!Param_Select_Time!|:U2#Alt_AandG:V#Trailing12MonthTotal/A#EndingACV:V#MTD:U2#Alt_AandG:T#PeriodPrior12(|!Param_Select_Time!|))) However, when I replace the T#PeriodPrior12(|!Param_Select_Time!|) with say 2022M10, then the override works. Hi, On the September forecast in OneStream, the beginning and ending balances on the Cash Forecast report from FY 2024-forward are not matching. The balances are matching correctly before FY24. The ending balance of the FY should match with the beginning balance of the next FY. In the past, this was related to workflows entered but not fully processed by the cube. But in this scenario, all workflows have been entered.  Tried to drilldown on the BEGBAL/ENDBAL cell and check the entity base to know what caused this amount but the option is disabled here.  What can be the possibilities for this issue to be caused and is there anywhere I can search for and solve this issue.    

Hi community, With a button in a dashboard, I want to open an Excel file: FileSourceType=Dashboard, UrlOrFullFileName=[Input_Sales.xlsx], OpenInXFPageIfPossible=False, PinNavPane=False, PinPOVPane=False If Input_Sales.xlsx is in the default workspace, this works fine. If it is not I can't get it to work. Which syntax can I use to open a file from a specific workspace? With kind regards, Tim

One row in my cube view is calculating a strange variance and variance %.I am subtracting an account member from a parent account in my Row member filter builder.  Dep, & Amort is included in my SG&A parent and I want to report separately.  However, my variance column and Var % calculation is off.  It is the only row having this issue.  Also, I am not able to get the currency presented in the row.Any suggestions are appreciated.

There is a part in the online documentation that is saying : Include Member Scripts in XFCells in order to retrieve data for specific Dimension Members.  Culture User is based on the computer’s Windows settings and the User settings.XFCell(Memberscript, Culture=User, NumberFormat=N3,DisplayNoDataAsZero=True, Scale=3, FlipSign=True, ShowPercentageSign=False)  Unfortunalety it does not give much details as to what the "memberscript" should be ... So far, I have 2 parameters build up with XFCell, that are giving me the right values. But Now that I simply need to calculate the ratio between those value, and get this ratio back in the word document, I'm a little bit stuck ...   Regards,

Hi everyone,I'm struggling with a feature of cube views, hope anyone can helpWhen i insert on the same row two dimensions, selecting for the second one more than one element, as shown belowas soon as i launch the cube view, the U2 dimensions are shown grouped:and i need to click + to show them.Is there a way to prevent the elements to be automatically grouped when I launch the CV?

I am building a cube view that has 3 row set options. The user selects their row set by a parameter, placed in the row sharing property of the cube view. Depending on the row set selected by the user, I need the page caption to change. The page captions for each row set options are static and will not change. Is it possible to pull the page captions when the row set is selected? Or, can I make the page caption change depending on which row set option is selected? I would like this to be selected concurrently with the single parameter that already exists. I don't believe I can pull the row set POV to the page description, and I cannot figure out a way to pull a delimited list based on another delimited list parameter selection.   Hypothetical example: The user selects from 3 row set options; GBP, EUR, or USD. Depending on their selection, the page caption should read 'Investment Report GBP', 'Investment Report EUR', or 'Investment Report USD'. The row sets are different depend

Hello,For purpose of grouping we have some accounts listed as member filter in a single row:A#VOL_O_StockWIP:Name(Opening Stock Volume), A#VAL_O_StockWIP:Name(Opening Stock Value) etceteraSome of these would need a different format to make it easer to recognize them, if I make a separate row the grouping on the primary filter will be gone.Is there a code that can be used after a member filter to apply formatting?A solution in either the cubeview, or Excel AddIn would be helpful.Thanks in advanceBen

Hi dear Community, I'd like to know whether it's possible to create a dynamic CV description somehow. So far, I've tried using parameters, substitution variables, and Business Rules (BR) in the description field but it's always considered as a plain string. Thank you in advance for your help. Does anyone know how to have the CV description showing in Excel instead of the name?  In my CV I have the name and description. And it's the description that is being used in the workflow. So it would make more sense for the users.   Best, Mette

I am creating a cube view by defining "member.childrenInclusive" on the rows. Is there a way to increase indentation on the child members without defining each members on separate rows and specifying indent levels?

Hi All, We are using XFGetCell's all the time in excel and one of the user reinstalled MS Office recently and he started facing issues XFGetCell. Please see screenshot below. XFGetCell function is defaulting to OneStreamExcelAddIn.XFFunctions.XFGetCell and this is causing refresh issue. If I try to remove the highlighted part the sheets are working fine. Any suggestions will be appreciated ? Thanks Sridhar 

Hey all!So I have noticed a strange behaviour on my Dashboard buttons with Workflow navigation "links" like below: Above works great it takes me to Profile, Scenario and Name. However when I want to go to below instance, the previous year (2024) remains, even though in this case I have hardcoded 2023. I have to press the button 2 times in order for below value (2023) to kick in!I have several buttons where I use substitution variables and business rules to fetch times. But for this particular example it is not working, only difference in this case is the scenario which has some set parameters: Does anyone have any solution how to get the button to work on the first click instead of having to click 2 times? Thanks in advance! I have an application using the culture feature. This gives me multiple member description options. When I pull a member in a cube view, it's displaying the description from the wrong culture. It's pulling from the English culture description instead of the default description. How can I change which description it displays?

Hi!I am trying to do the following variance to calculate the incremental balance between 2 Qtrs but the time filter doesn't work:GetDataCell(Variance(CVR(Row8),CVR(Row8):T#PovPrior1)):Name(Incremental RWA EOP)Row 8 is also a CVR calculated row. I have Quarters in columns, so need to do the formula as dynamic as possible.

When I ran the report book, the Default value of Parameters is not showing instead it is taking recent selected value.Please provide any suggestions.

Is there any better way of getting rid of these default TOP other then explicitly adding them in each row with Name tag?
