Reporting

I have a tabbed dashboard with three tabs displaying cube views. I would like to give my users the ability to print, export to excel or to pdf with a single action instead of doing so with each cube view individually. I would appreciate any approaches that community can suggest. Thank you.

Hello team, I am trying to get a dump of Yearly data in one table where I will use joins of member table with data records and want to expose this in BI viewer so that analysis can be nicely done on Month on Month, YOY basis etc. however pulling so much data seems problematic and I came to know about a term 'FDX' (Seems Fast data Extraction). Kindly help with some details on it, I could not find any content on this.   Thanks Satish

We have a requirement of replacing Power BI dashboard's with OneStream .Which module would be better apt to configure from marketplace to full fill this requirement.

Team Is there a way where i can sum the columns/data using Variables.  Example: Instead of using GetDataCell(T#2021M1+T#2021M2):Name(Total) , can i use some kind of variable which calculates based on POV/Cube view GetDataCell(T#Quarters):Name(Total)  

Is there any way to do a GetDataCell in a Cube View or Quick View where the members are dynamic/based on some criteria?  The formula below doesn't work, but hopefully give you an idea of what I wish did work.   GetDataCell(SUM(E#TopEntityMember.Base.Where(Text5 = 'Germany'))):Name(GermanySum)   I know you can add specific members together in the GetDataCell, but I'd like to be able to have one row that shows the sum, which is based on a property value that can be changed or be able to use it as a member filter and not have to display it in the grid.

Hi, I am building cube views that should be accessible by several users based on the workflow they are affected to.   These cube views are the same, but each workflow has its own entity. Therefore, the same cube view will be available through several workflow, and the entity (or entity selection) should change based on entity affected to each workflow profile.   I'm probably missing something, but the problem is that there are no (known) parameters that would simply give me the list of entities attached to the current workflow profile... what would be the best way to achieve this ?   Regards,

Hi All, I hope you are all well!  Just a quick intro - I'm new to OS and have just completed my first training course. I work for a large global company who use OS to consolidate and report. We have an instance where we reported or Jan22 figures, but now OS is showing slightly different figures at the consolidated level. I'm hoping to find a report where I can identify if a user has either imported or updated a form for that Jan period after we reporting.  So a report that shows my by user if they entered in Jan by the stamp date?   Thanking you in advance!

Hi community We are using Method Type CertificationForWorkFlowUnit in a data adapter for creating a Certification report  This Method Type provides 3 data sources (as you see in the screen): Currently, we have Profile Name, Question Name, etc in columns but all these fields are part of CertificationResults DataSource. We are trying to include UserName filed column on Certification Result Dashboard, but we can’t because this line is part of another DataSource: CertificationResult_SignOff.  Is there a way to include this Username Field? With a Join between data sources or another alternative? Thanks          

Is it possible to create a chart where one data series is displayed as a line type and the other as a bar type? 

I'm working with a BI Viewer and working out how to sort the dates within the Time data set. Is their an API that allows to call the data adapter used within a dashboard? Currently the dates on the X-Axis are disorganized and are being sorted based on M1x, M2x which causes October (M10) to precede after January (M1). 

I am creating a dashboard that compares two different scenarios (one of which is the prompted scenario). I want the header of the chart to display the description of the member instead of the name (i.e., "Forecast 3+9" instead of "FORECAST_3_9." If I input the prompt name into the description field ("|!Prompt_Scenario!|") it will return the name. Is there any way to update this to populate the description instead?

Scenario Today I have a process where I can generate a Spreadsheet with an included Tableview object, and view the spreadsheet output in a dashboard. What I want to achieve is automate the process, so I from a BR function can fully automate the process of generating the spreadsheet, and then save the spreadsheet as Excel to a specific folder, with a given naming convention. Hello, Within a Cube View, I would like to store some "Comments" in a dedicated Row. For display purpose, I would like to adjust the height and the width of this specific row, so it does like a kind of "text box".  I can't find anyway to adjust the height in the "Data Explorer" mode. I am trying to build a dashboard with a button that opens a scenario dimension page so that super users can easily set up and use a gaming hybrid scenarios.  Is there an XFPage option to open a dimension page?

Hello, Backstory: We have some forecast cube views we embed in our Forecast workflows. These cube views also display under the cube view folder. The cube views are set to the workflow POV and I realized this means users can open the cube view in the cube view folder and if their  POV is Actuals, they can then load to Actuals. I want to prevent this.  I updated the cube view folder security to Admins and then no one could access the forms.  Question: Is there a way to remove specific cube views from the cube views folder, but still allow users to access them in a workflow?  Regards, Ronnie

Hi, We're currently expanding on our CubeView & Dashboard reports available in the application & would like to display our performance by Country. Our cost locations are housed in UD1 with the base members being the individual cities and/or states & the immediate parents being the Country. Is there a way we can call the parents of base dimensions of the current UD1 selection? Currently we're able to build out a set structure for countries but if a user doesn't have security rights for a specific location their report will display other locations as 'No Access'. Thanks!

I have CV - rows with Accounts as Expansion 1 , and three Origin-member as Expansion 2. I'd like to have the Accounts as suppressed if zero ( no problem) but when I open the +-sign to see the Origin members for selected account I want all three (Forms, Adj, Import) members to show without having to use insert member. User should input data on the O#Forms member which is suppressed unless previously used.

Has anyone had issues with cell reference links breaking in Input Forms after clicking Submit Sheet? Background:We plan to base level accounts, with our operating expense accounts planned between four departments in UD2. All other accounts are planned at the “None” department level. Example:611000-Base Salary account can be planned more granularly to Dept 100 (Customer Support), Dept 200 (Prod Dev), Dept 300 (S&M) and Dept 400 (G&A). A#611000:U2#Dept_100 = 5,000 A#611000:U2#Dept_200 = 2,000 In this example, we would have a total of 7,000 planned to the 611000 account. Issue:The cell links are only breaking on the 6xxxxx accounts where we are specifying UD2 as a specific department vs. all other accounts having U2#None. Additionally, the values input in the form aren’t going to the correct department. The 2,000 example above from Dept 200 would go to Dept 100 for the same 611000 account. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Community -    Is there a way to know when the last load was completed? We have multiple cubes (account recs, mgmt, rept), and it would be helpful if our end user could know when the last  process-load was completed.  I know we have task activity manager, but if I could filter only the process load tasks, retrieve the time when data load was completed, and display in a table.  I'm wondering if I need to write a business rule, and integrate that into dashboard/cube. Any idea or examples will be appreciated. Thank you!
