Hi,Does anyone know if it is possible to export a Dashboard to PDF on one page?I have a dashboard that incorporates a CV on top with two graphs in a BIV below.  I need both the CV and BIV components to export to PDF on the same page?  I have only been successful with exporting the components separately onto individual PDF pages.Any help is appreciated! Hi All,Ive got a problem with transformation/load cube workflow steps in our build, It has been in our applications for over six months (an older dev application has the same problem). This error doesn't seem to cause a problem in our data although may affect a dimension we put into our application for future use, I want to isolate it regardless. The error is an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object error" and doesn't actually stop the workflow step from completing, making it difficult to track exactly what is going wrong. It also doesn't flag when compiling all business rules being only apparent whilst running the rule. This error occurs on all the load/retransform steps I have tested although that doesn't help much as a lot of our transformation rules overlap.Id really like to know if there is a way of viewing which business rule is failing on running these processes but cannot fathom how, is there a way to do this? Thanks,Tom 

Is there a way to make parameters have multiple selections in cube views?

Hi,I want to use the XFMemberProperty in a cube view to call the number of no input periods in a scenario.  This isn't returning a number though or anything.  I get an error.XFMemberProperty(DimType=Scenario, Member=|WFScenario|, Property=NumberOfNoInputPeriodsPerWorkflowUnit))Has anyone had success with this?  I am not sure the property name to use here, what I have is a guess; variants of this didn't work either.Perhaps there is an easier way to get the last no input month into the time filter?  I want two columns, on would be the actuals YTD and include the T#YYYYM[number of no input periods], the second would use the same time filter but use the rest of periods in year time expansion.

Hi all,I'm working on a Dashboard Extender BR where different processes will be triggered depending on the button selected by the user on the dashboard.The BR is structured this way:The two parameters shown above (p_scenario and p_yearmonth) retrieve the value for Scenario and Period from the WF.Every time the user clicks on a different button, two variables are assigned the value of WF Period and WF Scenario as shown above. The process works fine for all of the dashboard buttons except one. When that one is clicked, the values of WF Period and Scenario are not retrieved. The two variables shown above are left as empty strings. Any idea what might be causing this? I'm using the same formula for all of the buttons:Dim Scenario As String = args.SelectionChangedTaskInfo.CustomSubstVars.XFGetValue("p_scenario")it works fine on all buttons except that one Thanks in advance for any help on this!

I am working on a report that shows YTD, Quarters and Months based on the pov.  The Year and Month works fine however for Quarters, when I pull a non quarter months I am getting the inverse of the prior quarter.  The formula I am using for the quarters is below.T#quarter(|PovTime|).allpriorinyearinclusive:v#QTD  

When running a book, sometimes the user will be prompted with a second dialog box. The first will include all applicable parameters for them to select. After clicking 'OK', a second dialog box will pop up that reads: "There are no additional parameters for the selected item. Select OK to continue." Only after that will the book run. What causes that second dialog box and is there any way to stop it from happening?

I have been trying to give a couple of our users access to the Database Page in the System Pane. I created a new security group named DatabasePageAccess (and SystemPaneAccess) and add another security group and 2 specific users to this new group. I then changed the security group on the System Security Roles for the DatabasePage System User Interface Role to "DatabasePageAccess" and SystemPane to SystemPaneAccess. Asked the 2 users to test it out. They were able to see the System Pane now but cannot see the Database page still. I have been going in circles and cannot reason why they cannot see the database page when I seem to have done it all correctly. My CFO would like to be able to select a combination of children in our Department Dim and see our Net Income.  Is there a way to dynamically calc that value.  In the list below, he is asking if he can select to exclude IT from his query.  We use FXGets alot but could also work in a QV member selection.  Was wondering if maybe a BR could be created but not sure how to reference which to exclude in a FXGet.  Would think it would have to be on the UD8 Dim or something.  He wants to be able to toggle between different views.  ie What does it look like without HR and Finance.  Trying not to create a ton of Alt rollups in the Dim for all the different combinations.    Ex:  UD1 Total  BU's Plant BU's SGA BU's Finance HR IT ....

I set up a Hybrid Scenario with a Data Binding Type of "Copy Input Data from Source Scenario." I tried following the example in the Design and Reference Guide (below) for the Origin dimension, where the properties are as follows:      - Member Filters to Exclude: O#Top.DescendantsInclusive      - Pre-aggregated Members: O#Top=O#Import     When force consolidating, I get data in both O#Import and O#Elimination, but O#Top for my source scenario and hybrid scenario agree. Is there any way to only copy data into O#Import? As a side note, if I change Pre-aggregated Members to O#Top=O#Elimination, I only get data in O#Elimination. Thanks! Molly  

Dear Team,I'm trying to check if value of a specific column is <> 0, if isn't I would like to inform user by some kind of Message Box.I was trying to use SaveDataEventHandler, but the issue is this value is not inputted by user - it's calculated by UD8.Do you think there's any another possibility? Thanks a lot! 

Hi Experts,I have subsidiary entity where it needs to be consolidated 100% but with other line of adjustments as belowNCI calculation on equity portion/Share capital elimination.in HFM, We used to write on default consolidation rule first and then method specific rule on top of thisif same thing is to be applied in Onestream, can i follow as below ?If entity method is subs thenStep1 api.ExecuteDefaultShare() to consolidate every account 100% firstlyUser defined tagging=> Text tagging to Equity related accounts to pull accounts for NCI portion calculation.Step2 Text specific Source accounts are reversed with Minority portion(%) into Elimination member and same writing to offset NCI account into the Elimination member like HFM ??  

We worked with OneStream to set the Inactivity Threshold to 90 days but discovered inactive users are not automatically Disabled after 90 days - only flagged as 0 days of "Remaining Allowed Inactivity".  I'm assuming we could create a Business Rule or some other process that could query OneStream security data within the system to confirm users who meet the "Remaining Allowed Inactivity" = "0 Days" criteria.  Manual review could work as well but not preferred.Any suggestions on how this could be automated in OneStream?Thanks in advance.

The display of the parameter shows 2 Accounts selected but when retrieving the parameter in the business rule only the first one is passed.If I display the list box selections on the dashboard it shows the correct selections, comma separated.If a comma is in the string that is passed to the Business rule, only the information before the comma is recognized. I am going through the process of making an application multi-language. There is one area that I cannot work out and it is an important element: Certification Questions. I am using XFStrings to hold the translated text and this is then used on Cube Views, Dashboards, Confirmation Rules etc. Certification Questions do not execute the XFString function and there is no event I can find for building the Certification Questions form. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi All,We have an issue where we are unable to delete an entity member from the hierarchy.We get this error: "Unable to delete member 'XXXX'. Error removing member. Member 'XXXX' has data.How can we clean the member 100%, so we can delete it? Thank youRomario

I know we can use the Matrix setting in our Data Sources to import data where time periods are in the columns (i.e. M1, M2, M3, M4, M5 M6 etc.).Is anyone out there aware of a way to extract data out of OS in the same type of format (time periods in columns); either by way of a DM step or any other way?

Hello, we are working on a constant currency Actuals scenario that will be using alternate FX rates and are in the process of testing a Hybrid Scenario with the 'Copy Input Data From Source Scenario' setting.  We are running the data copy with a 'Force Calculate' Data Management Step using the 'Execute Scenario Hybrid Source Data Copy' setting.  We have found that after resetting the hybrid scenario, the first run of the copy step is taking around 50 minutes to complete, but subsequent copies are only taking 7 minutes.  Is this expected with a hybrid scenario copy?

Hello, our client wants to have the option to use OneStrem in Turkish for some users. I know that using culture settings we can add descriptions for different languages to the members. What I am actually looking for to change the application language meaning the options buttons, anything on the user interface. Thanks
