Reporting

I want to display Asset, Liability and Income statement side by side in cube view report. Can anyone suggest the format to get this kind of formatting  Tried using dashboard by creating three cube views and attaching them to single dashboard but that was not the feasible outcome

Hi all, I have a cube view that is generated entirely by dynamic UD8 members, some retrieving text fields, returning static text/numerical data, parsing descriptions, etc. I would like to export this cube view as a .csv but I am struggling to find the best way to do this. I don't think DM Export Data jobs work with dynamic UD8s, but maybe I'm missing something. Is there a recommended method I should consider?

Hello Team I created a Nested member expansion under a cube view. It works fine with grouping of the nested dimensions as in picture#1.  But by default it always have the list grouped. Is there an option to have them all ungrouped by default (pic#2)? Thanks!!

Hello,   I have this Cube View that I created in which I have to move the half year (H1) column to be in between Q2 and Q3 in order to match the formatting of the report that I was given as the model. I have attempted to make some changes to accomplish this but I have not been able to do so. I am displaying the quarters as Time:T#WFYear.Quarters       How can I accomplish this formatting goal? Furthermore what is the synthax that would allow me to display a single quarter of my choosing?    Thank you in advance for your time and cooperation!

Hi All, Does anyone know of nice reporting on the metadata and the properties of each member?  Basically, I am looking for something like the Dimension Library Grid View to be displayed in a user-friendly report.  Before we start building something I wanted to make sure someone doesn't have an easy solution for this.  Would want something that users could easily access perhaps via Cubeview or Dashboard content. An example would be a report that shows all of the accounts with their metadata properties (ie. description, AllowInput, AcctType, Text1-8, etc.).  I checked the Application Reports (RPTA) that is in MarketPlace but it doesn't have anything.   Thx, Mike

Hi,   We're trying to combine our detailed sales data housed in BIBlend with the member table in the application database. The reason for this is so we can join the client name assigned to our UD3 dimension to the detailed sales data. However, as the BIBlend is an external database & the metadata is an application database, I can't call both of these in one data adapter. Is there a way to combine metadata & BIBlend tables in a SQL data adapter? Thanks,  

I am attempting to edit a report in studio and I cannot figure out how to make the grid size bigger so I can edit all the items.  The initial report was formatted to shrink to page width if that helps.  The preview looks fine but the designer tab  is cropped.      

Hello,   I have this cube view that I made, in which I am having issues in the secon to last column. I am trying to see what the difference between each quarter is between the forecast and budget scenarios.When I run my cube view, I get a single difference between Q1 forecast and Q1budget only, and Q2 trough Q4 are nowhere to be found. I was expecting that what I typed would give me the difference between each quarter, not just the first.       Can you share what your thoughts on what I am doing wrong please?Your time and input is appreciated in advance!

Team Am trying to create a dashboard which will have inputs from 3 cube views, of which 2 are Forms. How can i have all the 3 cubes in one page under a dashboard with the flexibility of moving around, resizing the views.  Tried "Grid", "Canvas" and "Uniform", but none had an option to move and resize. Hi ! I'm trying to harmonize the reporting in OneStream with one single font that we use as a standard within all the BU of the company. I can change the font in buttons, label, radio button, text fields ... but I can't find anywhere the possibility to change the font in all graphs / tables that are created in BI Viewer components. --> Is there a way to change the font used in tables/graphs created with BI Viewer ?   Many thanks,

Hello,  How Can I have rows that have no data for a time period to display 0 instead of blank in OneStream as well as when exported to Excel. 

I am knew to the OneStream Software. Is there a way to load data outside of a form, and not through workflow? Meaning, is there an xf formula that can be used in excel that will write to a specific data intersection?

Hello, Following a recent OneStream reporting course I've discovered the benefits of pivot grids within the BI Viewer component. Is there a way to automatically adjust the width of the first column based on the text in the rows? I can't see anything obvious in the BI Viewer: I was thinking a business rule could work although I can't see much content using these with pivot grids. Any ideas? Many thanks, Oliver

I have this Cube View that I have to format so that the highlighted department column information is hidden but I still need to show the user what department this report is for (there are several that can be picked when you run the cube view). Any ideas on how I can go about these two issues?   Thank you for your time in advance!    

We're looking to use the scatter graph component in BIViewer to display client profitability by 2 metrics, average pricing & volume. This has worked perfectly, however when adding in a range filter component to allow users to filter down on the volume, the graph returns 0 values for metrics other than the volume.Initial stateFiltered state - volume between 0 & 11Is there something we're missing when using this component?Range filter data items  

When I try to export my report to Excel, the rows with no data are just blank. Is there a way to have them display 0? 

can you have a comment field in a cube view wrap text?

Hi,I need to build a cube view where I want to have Accounts base as well as U1 Base. Something like this: The problem is when I am running this - Onestream crashes. Supression settings are on: Is this because of too many intersections to look at?Account Dimension has approximately 6000 base members and U1 has 1200.Can anyone suggest a way on how to build this?Thanks.  

After data is saved in the SQL table editor component, I would like the dashboard to have a auto-refresh so that the results on my dashboard from the dashboard extender business rule implemented on the save data server task can show automatically. Currently I need to refresh dashboard manually to see the results.   On the "Action" part of the sql table editor, there is a "User interface action" which includes an option to refresh. However, my testing and understanding on the "Action" so far tells me, the way to kick off the action is to "delete last row in the sql table" rather than "add or save a new row". That's why the action part does not work for me. There could be more ways to kick it off, but I do not know.   Thank you for your help!   Kai

Hello, Is there a way to make cells display numerical data in the millions of dollars amount? As an example 1,500,000 would be displayed as 1.5 I have looked around but did not find much information on the NumberFormat paramater so it is kind of confusing in terms of synthax.
