Hi All, We are using XFGetCell's all the time in excel and one of the user reinstalled MS Office recently and he started facing issues XFGetCell. Please see screenshot below. XFGetCell function is defaulting to OneStreamExcelAddIn.XFFunctions.XFGetCell and this is causing refresh issue. If I try to remove the highlighted part the sheets are working fine. Any suggestions will be appreciated ? Thanks Sridhar 

HiI am executing a data management sequence from a business rule and I would like to display the task progress dialog box. Is this possible?e.g. When I click run from the Data Management tab I get the following:I would like the user to see the same thing when I run the data management sequence from a business rule.Regards,Mark 

Outside if BI Blend, is there a use for the Attribute Dimensions and Attribute Value Dimensions?All of the documentation that I am reading, the search for Attribute Dimension only shows up in the BI Blend Section.

Does anyone have a solution to having the workflow period default to the global time? It's a minor annoyance, but for those switching workflow profiles often, it's annoying that it just always defaults back to Jan, and then you have switch to the current period. I understand that not all workflows are set monthly, but if your scenario Input frequency is monthly, it would be nice if it could read of the global time as the default period it goes to, versus just going back to a locked period.

Hello,I am running a Business Rule to extract Forecast data using Data Management task. The BR is working fine for Q1 Fcst, Q2 Fcst but when I am running the same BR for Q3 Fcst, it is failing and giving the below error.Error message -*********************************************************************************************************Summary: Error processing Data Management Step 'Export_TAX_PandL'. Unable to execute Business Rule 'extr_TEST_TAX_ExtractPandL'. Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. (SQL Error Number -2146232060, -2). The wait operation timed outThe process is also running fine in QA without any issues for all the scenarios.Any inputs much appreciated!! Thank you!

Hello,We noticed that Workflow on entity can be unlocked and relocked even if the parent workflow (period) is locked. We need to have a direct dependency between the parent and child workflows for the lock of the period.

Does anyone know how the "Has Data" field in an FX Rates CSV file is actually being used?   The Design and Reference Guide lists it as one of the columns in the file. I've only seen it extracted with a value of Yes in this column. What is its actual use?  Is it necessary for Loading FX Rates?  What does "No" mean, for that matter what does "Yes" mean?

Hi, I am starting last month as Admin. I am trying to help one of our internal users with an issue. The amount that was imported by accounts and by base level LE_PC_CC that belongs to the gray area in this Workflow can't be seen or opened in this WF form to be manually adjusted. Is there something wrong with the configuration of the Workflow?  Thanks in advance!  

We leverage MS Azure single sign on for OneStream.It seems like lately we experienced an issue where users are not able to login using SSO.Is this a known bug with version 7.1.3.14022?The way the support team resolved it was do an IIS reset on the servers and disable/reenable SSO but we don't want to keep doing this.Thoughts???

Hey all!So I have noticed a strange behaviour on my Dashboard buttons with Workflow navigation "links" like below: Above works great it takes me to Profile, Scenario and Name. However when I want to go to below instance, the previous year (2024) remains, even though in this case I have hardcoded 2023. I have to press the button 2 times in order for below value (2023) to kick in!I have several buttons where I use substitution variables and business rules to fetch times. But for this particular example it is not working, only difference in this case is the scenario which has some set parameters: Does anyone have any solution how to get the button to work on the first click instead of having to click 2 times? Thanks in advance! Hi - Is there a way to override security to show the IC Partners' Workflow Statuses in a Dashboard so each workflow can view altogether the status of all Partners?  I created a data adapter using a WorkflowAndEntityStatus Method Query but they can only see the Workflows they are in the Access Group of.  Can I replicate what is happening behind the scenes in the IC Matching > Show Partner Workflow Status?Thanks in advance to anyone that can help! 

Anyone has called and executed Excel function (Forecast.ETS) from within a business rule?

Hi,We would like a particular user with authority over several accountants that have certified their accounts for that user to be able to uncertify (un-certify) those certain workflow profiles if any changes are required.At present, if the workflow has been certified the user gets a warning.. has not been granted access to application role 'UnlockWorkflowUnit' for application.So how do I grant them this access ? The only group they are not in is 'Administrators', but we do not want them to have full unlock/uncertify rights, but only for the selected entities which are under the parent that they have reporting responibilty for.Keywords Unlock and UnCertify Ancestors and Unlock Workflow Unit

Hi,   Does OneStream application has any App or link to access for Apple Mac book users ? We have many leaders in our organization using MacBooks, IPAD Pro etc.. they are not able to access Onestream application now. Any suggestions ? We have recently upgraded to OS 8.1 version. 

I have an application using the culture feature. This gives me multiple member description options. When I pull a member in a cube view, it's displaying the description from the wrong culture. It's pulling from the English culture description instead of the default description. How can I change which description it displays?

We are exploring pros and cons of enabling  Onestream access to our global users using Citrix / Azure virtual environment. Primary reason are, to reduce the .net installation in individual desktops, control excel temples from a central team etc..Could you please let us know if there any others who are using Onestream from a Citrix / centeral environment ? if yes, how is the performance impact of Onestream vs a normal desktop environment ? Do you have any learnings /feedbacks from their experience which you can share ?Any other items we should consider before taking this path of Citrix / Central Onestream access approach ?Thanks for your time and inputs. 

We are (officially) migrating our archived, pre 2020 data into OneStream (from our HFM archived environment) does anyone have experience with this, tips, and tricks? Our thoughts are only loading data into the entity and account dimensions since we won't need to transact as it's post-close/post-calculated data. Any advice or support would be amazing!

Hi,I've been using a data management step (part of an archival sequence) to copy data between Scenarios and archive data. It has worked well in the past but now I'm getting below error when I run the step."Error processing Data Management Step 'step_SeedForecastMonths'. Arithmetic overflow error converting numeric to data type numeric.The statement has been terminated. (SQL Error Number -2146232060, 8115, 3621)"Any ideas as to what would be causing this ? I verified the data and I seems like the copy did work for the period selected however the error message still pops up.  Thanks in advance!JT

Of all the File Share types, the one I least understand is the "Contents" folder.  What is it used for? There are even three System Security Roles controlling its use, but no clue in the Design and Reference guide as to what we are meant to use that folder for.  Can someone please educate me?  

Hi!I am trying to do the following variance to calculate the incremental balance between 2 Qtrs but the time filter doesn't work:GetDataCell(Variance(CVR(Row8),CVR(Row8):T#PovPrior1)):Name(Incremental RWA EOP)Row 8 is also a CVR calculated row. I have Quarters in columns, so need to do the formula as dynamic as possible.
