Hi,So I am using one Parameter in Cube View Formatting where I am facing some issue.So there are 11 Forecast Scenario in my application.Fy25Fcst1, Fy25Fcst2 through Fy25Fcst11.My formatting rule is set in this way- If ([|!Scenario_WaterFall_MemberList!|] Contains Fcst2) Then ***Condition***End IfThis is working perfectly for scenario 2 through 11 but even if I select 10, this shows the result of 1 as well.To negate this I tried to replace the condition with  If ([|!Scenario_WaterFall_MemberList!|] EndsWith Fcst2) Then But this is not working. Can anyone let me know what can be done to resolve this issue. Thanks.JackLacavaKrishna 

Hi Folks,Can anyone give me an example of moving an entity from one parent to another using ReadRelationshipNoCache? Or even the version using GetRelationshipInfo?CopyOrMoveRelationships doesn't have a 'no cache' option, so looking to do it at a lower level by reading and updating the member's relationships (i.e. dropping one and adding another) -Jon

Hi everyone,We’ve been using the SaveDataEventHandler to prevent users from submitting zero values for a specific scenario and flow. While the error message works perfectly in the Cube Views, we’ve encountered an issue when users try to submit a zero from Excel—no error message is displayed. From what I’ve read, error messages don’t work in Excel.As a workaround, we’re considering a different approach: instead of throwing an error when a zero is submitted, we would save the zero as NotStored (dataCellStorageType.NotStored) and NoData (dataCellExistenceType.NoData). However, despite our efforts, we can’t get SaveData to function as expected. Hi All, Working with a dialog box with 3 parameters that are being used in a business rule later on. I want the parameters on dashboard load to always show the first value in my delimited list. Right now it always saved my previous selection. I have tried to set "Default Value" in the parameter itself, that dosen't work, guess it is only working on first load? I have tried to run a Dashboard extender BR like below to set param values on load of dashboard, but it dosen't overwrite my previous selection.: Only thing that have worked this far is to set a bound parameter with a set value on my button that opens my dialog box. However it seems to only let me add one bound parameter, I have 3.    Anyone having any advice how I can set one value from my delimited list to always appear when loading my dialog box. 

I have a book report with multiple Cube views ,Excel ,Word and and PDFs. If all together the book has 100 pages, Is it possible to show the Page numbers 1 of 100, 2 of 100 in sequence?I have tried the Cube View Extender BR discussed in this forum previously and that does display Page numbers only within the Cube view where the rule is attached to and in the format of Page 1 0f 1 ,Page 2 of 2.Page Numbering Format for Books | OneStream CommunityAppreciate any help or guidance.  

I've got a Tree View component which is populated via code in an Assembly.It currently displays all the members for a selected dimension but will can only show those members that a user has access to.The tool that is a part of is indented for cross group use so it would be useful for users to see all the members available, not just the ones that they have access to. It's purely a visual aid, not for data viewing.Can anyone advise if this is possible and what I'd have to do to enable it?Thank you in advance :-)Craig

Hi all,I'm 100% certain that I read somewhere that Version 8 would include a new XF function for Excel add-in that would allow us to drilldown on a cell whose data is retrieved via an XF function.However, now that we are upgrading to Version 8, I cannot find any information about that at all.  Even a search in the OneStream documentation does not show any XF function that allows this. If anyone has a link or more details about this expanded functionality, would you be kind enough to share that here?   Thanks in advance

I have created a macro that auto-generates excel files for upload to a workflow for adjustments, however I get the following error when the file is selected for import: This is resolved if I open and close the excel (not even necessarily saving when closing). Has anyone encountered this error before? and aware of a solution that would streamline this need to open and close files.

We want to discourage users from always running the Refresh All Tabs button every time they open their workbook.   

I have a Cube View report in Guided Reporting where the user needs to be able to select from anywhere inside of the following three hierarchies. The hierarchies contain extensibility. I am running into an issue where the hierarchies are not appearing correctly, and member are missing in the 'List Selector' on Guided Reporting.I created my parameter to pull the tree views of all three entity hierarchies.I have confirmed that the Cube View parameter selection shows up as expected.When I try to select Entity in Guided Reporting, I see the following:The only items that are showing under the tree views are the members that do not have any extensibility. Output is showing its children, but it is not collapsable to the parent. If I switch the order over the tree views in the parameter, whichever is the last one listed has its members listed out like Output does in the screenshot. I have tried multiple different ways to write the parameter out and have been unsuccessful.Has anyone else ex

Recently, our client requested that the reports display descriptions associated with specific combinations of dimensions. These descriptions correspond to the unique combination of all dimensions and are provided in the data import file.How can we achieve this? Would creating a new dimension be a viable solution?What alternative approaches could we consider? Since the model is already built and this requirement was not initially specified, we're exploring the best way to address it. 

I'm trying to build a label that shows target goals for each entity. Now since each region has different goals. I'm looking for my label to change the value based on the entity selected.  Here is an example (We're still in development so not the most eye catching) Its referencing a parameter --  How can I pass a condition or a rule that reads the POV entity and shows me that specific value.

Has anyone been able to successfully obtain a parent name for a member, within a UD8 formula without needing to leverage a text field on the member (using Parent Sort Order for example)? As an example, I have a base level entity member of B1229 (this is Branch). I would like to return D1229 - Chicago based on its' parent sort order of 2 (this is District). Appreciate any insight!

Hi All - I have a quick question When I am using the Data Buffer, I am able to write to the Elimination Member.The Same for the Set DataCell as well.When I try to use the same in the Member Script Value it is not writing to the Elimination Origin except forms. Hi , I was wondering if i can have dynamic POV in a cubeview without BR. Is there possibility of condition in POV for example I can put a param scenario and say whenever Budget UD1= Model and if Actual it should be 1000.

Does anyone else have issues with locking and unlocking FX rates on the Application tab in the UI?  I can clearly see some periods with rates locked that I want to unluck, but the system will not let me unlock them.  I've tried logging out, ending session, etc.; only then do I occasionally get it to work.

Hi everyone, we come across an issue with the excel addin formula (XFGETCELL). Although all dimensions are specified in the formula, the result gets impacted by the settings of the Cube POV. Sometimes no values get retrieved, sometimes all cells with formulas show #Name or #Value. Uur expectation is that whatever is set in die Cube POV, the XFGETCELL formula retrieves the data based on the dimensions used in the formula. Does anyone of you have this issue as well? To my mind this is a bug in the excel addin. Regards Martin

Hello,I know you can center columns in a report, but is there a way to do this for cube views exporting to excel? I've only found a workaround where you go to export it to report and then change it to excel, but this won't work for us longterm.Would like to be able to do this - ok with either embedded or just exporting. 

Hello All, I have a Cube View that I want to use as data source for a BI VIewer object. When I execute this CV, I can see data: When I use this (basic) CV as MD in data adapter, it is empty. I checked the set up steps in the doc and I can't see what I could have missed.   Would you have any ideas why the result table doesn't return values that I can see in my Cube View ? I have attached multiple Cube views in one excel(Different sheets) through cube view connection. Here, i want to pull that consolidated excel file into Books. how can we achieve it. can you please help us to sort out this.
