Dashboard - Time Parameter for Specific Cube Views

Hello - I have a dashboard with 6 buttons across the top - each one is set to display a different cube view. The time dimension for 4 of the CVs are set to workflow time, where the other 2 I want the users to be able to select a period from a list, because these 2 are designed to show historical variance commentary. I set up a member list parameter with the time periods and added it to the two cube views. Now when I open the dashboard, the prompt automatically appears for every CV. I checked and couldn't find a way to only have this prompt appear for the two cube views. What settings do I need to enable or disable for my dashboard so 4 out of the 6 run off workflow time, but when a user clicks a button for one of the 2 others, the time period prompt appears?

Try using a supplied parameter at Dashboard level.

Thanks Sridrar - once I set up the supplied parameter, where do I add it? Under Dashboard Components for the 4 cube views that use workflow time?

This is what I would do to try,

  1. Create 1st dashboard with 4 Cube Views that uses WFTime.
  2. Create 2nd Dashboard with 2 Cube Views that uses parameter
  3. Create a Supplied Parameter with the same parameter your using in the 2 cube views.
  4. Create 3rd Dashboard and include Embedded Dashboard components of Dashboard 1 and 2 and Supplied Parameter.
