Hi everyone, I would like to add a top and bottom border to a specific row in the report when I export the cube view.  I know this is done by setting the GridLinesColor to a specific color and ReportUseTopBorder = True and ReportUseBottomBorder = False. Even though my client will not use the cube view but is only interested in the report view (which will be exported to PPT), I would like to know if I can have the top and bottom border in the report view but not show the grid lines when viewing the cube view. I am trying to get both columns (April 30, 2022 and April 30, 2021) to spread out a bit in the report shown above. I would also like to center ASSETS when my columns are not so close to the middle of the page.

Hello All,  I need some Quick help . is it possible to create a Child under a Base member that has a value. for example in my UD2 dimension i have Book A1 it is the Base member and it has data in it. If i try to create a Child under this A1 , Child A1_C. i am losing view of the Data . Is it a Cube View issue i need to resolve . or its not possible to create a child under a base member that already has values in it ? 

For Entity transformation rule, we want to build logic so that Source entity looks at its parent entity in one of our entity hierarchy in OS dimension, read and then map to the parent entity text8 assignment, then map to that entity the text8 assignment. How can we setup logic for that? 

We are looking to pull a Cube View Report into an Extensible PowerPoint document. We have working XF Cells currently but are trying to use the below input to generate the entire Cube View: {XF}{Application}{CubeViewReport}{CubeViewName} Which one(s) of these inputs would we need to update/ is there additional setup needed via Presentation/ Books? We experimented with changing the Cube View name and Application fields but have been unable to return anything.

Hi all, We’ve set up a UD1 member to account for headcount in our application. We have cost centers in our account dimension which we’re using in conjunction with the headcount UD1. The issue is that the numbers translate when reviewing at a base entity depending on the currency or, if we load a USD JE, the numbers are just not visible for base entities in a different currency than USD. I’ve reached out to OS support and they have no reference for a customer using UD for headcount and say that any account type outside of Balance or NonFinancial will translate (CC accounts are expense). Any thoughts on workarounds for this? We’ve settled with the USD JE though that’s clearly not optimal. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thank you,Nicole   PS. Hi there, I wonder if anybody knows how to access dashboard combo box selection from SaveDataEventHandler? I was able - through BRApi - to get the parameter assigned to the combo box (with the entire member list in it), but not the actual selection. I think this is possible from Dashboard Extender BR, but not Extensibility. I would appreciate any tips & advises. Best,Karol

How can we get a system generated report for version compare for metadata and finance rule changes?  The question is related to providing SOX audit documentation compares to auditors as this a finance tool. Earlier in HFM, we used spreadsheet compare. Please suggest.

We have a user who's add in files are adding a prefix to all the formulas of:=@onestreamexceladdin.xfgetfunctions.For all other users this does not show up.  I tried looking at the settings and searching several Excel forums to see what the issue might be.  I am thinking this is an Excel option that may not be set correctly. Has anyone seen this before and do you know what the issue may be?Thank you!  

Looking to start using the View txt fields (Annotation, Assumptions…) and understand that there is no natural way to have that information aggregated/consolidated up. I am told that a BR is needed to do this. Just checking to see if this is correct and if anybody has had success in this getting it to work. Ideal use would be for our regional leaders to be able to see summary comments on specific line items that we report on.

Hello, I am attempting to build a simple line chart through BI Viewer with Cashflow amounts in Y axis and Time (month-year) in X axis. I cannot get it to sort properly so it display data to flow through time. In the X axis, I choose Time for Arguments and sort in ascending. But it sorted as 2021M1, 2021M11, 2021M12, then 2021M2. When I change Time display from Name to Description, it goes by April-2021, April 2021 etc. How do I set this up so Time dimension flow through chronologically?

Hi Folks, I have created a dashboard for Flash reporting, and I’m trying to add a section for commentary. I’ve used the View member “Annotation” in the cube view. This works fine for short comments or comments the length of column, anything beyond that is not visible. Anyone have an suggestion on how to get around this, eg wrap text or maybe another option to add comments to a dashboard. As an FYI, the comments are linked to the parameter on the dashboard. Is there a functionality to populate headers when we open a cube view from Excel.  Currently when I open Excel, connect to OneStream and open a cube view, the headers that we set in OS does not populate.  Is there a fix to this? 

Hi everyone,   I am having some issues with the report dashboard component. I have created a report that consists of a graph linked to a specific data adapter. This data adapter is connected to a cube view. Everything is working fine, I am getting data in the graph, and it's doing the correct thing. However, the graph is printed 72 times on the report. These graphs are all identical, so it prints the same graph 72 times on the report.  Is it a coincidence that when I test the data adapter, the 'total number of rows' is also 72? In addition, is there a setting where I can specify that the report should only be printed once? I hope someone can help me find a solution. I really appreciate any help you can provide. Hi I'm trying to get the current pov - cube and entity - within a member list (i'm using for selection as drop-down). Unfortunately the api.pov.entity.name is in this case not returning the wf pov, but the cube pov. The args.SubstVarSourceInfo.WFCubeRoot doesn't work as well. Any ideas? Thanks Jana

We have several equity accounts with "USDOverride" entered for Text 1 in the "Vary by Scenario Type And Time" section of the member properties. Those accounts are not translating from local currency to USD.  Any ideas why that would be? Thanks!

Hi, I have a process that would be run at the month end to lock the workflow. Once the workflow is locked, you need to refresh the application to see the lock icon on the period in the workflow. The icon doesn't change until you hit the refresh button. Is there a utility in the business rule to refresh the application (I would need to include this utility in the business rule) ? Ragav.

I would like to know from fellow OneStreamers where you’ve done a daily forecasting application. I’m not necessarily looking for a solution. Just ideas on how this can be done. How do you load day into a daily forecasting application when the data file is rolling forward by day? I’m looking at the design guide and there it is talking about UD dimension as a channel. However, that needs you to create multiple channels and multiple import workflow profiles. (the example with Departments is awfully generic, as you can have department files and can have department import child profiles) When I load day 5 today, I’m only going to get data from day 5 onwards. When I load the data then the prior days of May 1-4 are gone. Thank you for your suggestions. CK
