hi,Cell data for the below intersection has been saved into the cube.  Error logs  shows the percentage value getting saved into the intersection. But its not showing up while reteieivng with the Quickview with the same intersection. Any property needs to be updated. UD8 member LRP_Percentage  has been used to store the percentage value.  Thanks 

Hi OS experts,  I want to exclude a base entity - as it must not be affected by the derivative - from its parent for the purpose of this derivative. All entity under a specific parent (ie TDM)  must be part of the derivative expression but excluding one base entity. Anyone knows how I can achieve this? This is my derivative expression ->

Mocking up a Prototype using the new Assembly feature in 7.4, I would like to be able to reference an Extender Business Rule within a Dashboard Assembly file. The scenario is, that I have a custom class (POCRunner) in an Extender file, and want to be able to call functions on that class object, when hitting a button in a Dashboard. I can't seem to find the right combination of assembly name and/or dependencies. The argument to have the custom class in an Extender, is also to be able to utilize a Data Management Sequence to trigger a job, calling the POCRunner class.Otherwise open for any other suggestion / approach.Thanks

We have built a custom model in a dev environment and now want to migrate this to a user test environment.  The build includes a number of database tables that we want to copy between the environments as they contain a large amount of data that needs to be used by the user test and will also be required to be migrated to the production environment.  Is there a way to copy database tables between environments, there doesn't seem to be anything obvious in the Load/Extract object list?

Hi all, Is there a way to have the pivot grid in a BI viewer automatically expanded? I've built a custom JE report as a grid but the user has to expand every single column in order to see the JE description for example before exporting in order to get that data on the export. It's manual work where I should be able to set up the pivot to default as expanded or there should be an "expand all" button. Appreciate any direction you can provide! Thanks! -Nicole

Is it possible to show the task progress dialog (see picture below) of a DM task started in a BR. Dim task As TaskActivityItem = BRApi.Utilities.ExecuteDataMgmtSequence(...) ' Do something with task to show dialog? Or is there another way to consolidate from a BR, where it automatically shows the progress dialog?Context: Button -> Dashboard Extender BR to change params -> DM sequence -> Consolidate. I need the Dashboard Extender API on same button press to change params, so can't call the DM/consol directly from button press.

Hi, I can't seem to find a method in the api that accepts a substitutionvariable object and returns the string value of that substitution variable. Or just get a dictionary of all predefined substitution variables and their values. Is this or something similar available?

As we cannot filter the Tree member expansion, is it possible to create a custom Tree?If not as a custom expansion, perhaps a code that returns a tree i.e. XFTreeItem?Dimension:AccountParent1    + Member1    + Member2        +Member2.1            +Member2.1.1            +Member2.1.2        +Member2.2            +Member2.2.1 In the above account dimension, I dont want Member 2.2. hi , Suddenly the custom calculate BR is not getting called from the DM step. The error log statements which added inside the custom calculate BR are not logged in as well. Below is the rule and the DM step.   

Hi there, For a client i want to do a detailed analysis of the data (numbers) in the database. We want to investigate the percentage of numbers < 0.01.However, when i use the Data records i see the following:But in this view i cannot filter on values in the Value1, Value2 etc. columns. In the binary table itself i see as contents of the CellAmounts the following:When i convert this to a string i see a binary code that i cannot read.Does anybody know how to write the select statement in SQL to see the Value fields in the CellAmounts column so i can filter on them? Thanks in advance.

I need to get a list of accounts based on what the cube view I created spits out. The cube view only has one row grabbing all the base children but has suppression on a column that will only show if there is a variance between 2 other columns. Each day the number of accounts with variances can differ and there is another column with a combo box for approve or deny. I need the list of accounts so I can provide the user with a mass approve or deny button

I have tried with the suppressions to make the cells that have 0 disappear but it has not been effective. In the first cell I would show how the data is arranged, and in the second image how I would like it to be   

Hi,We have a CV that has first few columns Actuals and rest as Forecast. User can select the Base Entity and enter the numbers in forecast columns but only look at the Actuals numbers.We have situation where we need to show parent of entity member for Actuals but use that base entity to capture forecast amounts.  We need this for just 5-6 entity members. Any idea how I can achieve this without writing complex business rule? Report Books LOOPS - A Loop is a sequence of instructions that will continually run a process as many times as is defined in the Loop Definition. Is it possible to use a Business Rule to save one Security group under another security group? If so, can you share an example of how this would be done?

We are working on uploading and downloading files onto OneStream FileExplorer. It is possible to fetch the encoded file from the FileContents using the SQL Query over the REST API. Similarly, is it possible to upload the data to the FileExplorer using the REST API? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Regards, Anusha

My rows are my UD3 Dimension, and I want to mimic a current Excel Report.  I want to Left Justify the Description and right justify the UD3 Name so it basically looks like this.  Boys garments                   B100Mens garments                  B110I have this Name function to reverse the Description and Name.U3#Root.List(B100, B110):Name(XFMemberProperty(DimType=UD3, Member=|MFUD3|, Property=Description)XFMemberProperty(DimType=UD3, Member=|MFUD3|, Property=Name))Based on that I getBoys garmentsB100Mens garmentsB110Of course I could add some spaces, but I have Descriptions that vary greatly.I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a statement could make the Member Name property to Right Justify.  Any ideas appreciated, otherwise I just get the users to accept it in Name Description format.

Hello - I have a cube view that currently has two columns. The first is just base members of an account hierarchy, and the second is a dynamic calc UD8 that retrieves the text 5 value for each account stored by scenario type. The UD8 is working and pulling the correct text 5 values, however some but not all of the stored item text is delimited by semicolons. How can I split this text by semicolon into separate columns in the cube view?
