Hi,Two questions related to XFSet Cell:1. Is there any audit trail to see who entered data via XF Set Cell?2. Is there any functionality where we can restrict specific users from entering data just into XFSetCell but allow them to enter data via other modes like Forms, etc.?

HI All,We are using Control m to trigger DM Sequence in OneStream with API call; we are able to trigger the job without any issues but now the issue is we are unable get response from OneStream to know whether DM sequence completed successfully or failed.Do you know the API, designed to provide success or failure?Thanks in advance.Thanks,Sandeep  

Hello All, We had to make changes to our 2022 (Prior period) data as we identified some issues with it. We cleared the data and tried reloading a bulk file with Full year 2022 data (Split Quarterly). Previously, We used to batch import data in one period (E.g. March), all the other quarter end months would automatically get a green tick and show data for that period in staging table.This time when we loaded numbers to March (data included periods M3,M6,M9,M12 for 2022), we can only see the data in March (M3), we are not able to see data in other periods. Please find the below snap for  reference.   Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,I have an Excel template file to import via the stage. This Excel is using a matrix-style for the values (time in columns) and also one column with a text commentary.As I have to change the view to “Annotation” in order to import a text value, I was thinking about duplicating the rows by a derivative rule and change the view in that rule. The outcome shows the duplicated rows, but these are missing the text value. So this approch is not working.I also tried to duplicate one time column and use a parser rule to change the view. Doing so, I would need to identify, which time period I am in during pasing, as otherwise all rows are changed.Any ideas about that?Regards,Tobias

Hi I always seem to get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" in the error log when I execute data loads that use connector rules.The full error message is: ---------------------------------------- Exception Type: Unknown Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Stack Trace: at OneStream.Shared.Engine.XFTelemetryHelper.GetTaskActivityArgsInfo(SessionInfo si, TaskActivityArgs taskActivityArgs) in C:\agent\_work\411\s\Source\Shared\Engine\SharedEngineBase\UserActivity\XFTelemetryHelper.cs:line 55 The strange thing is that the data load is always successful... Does anyone know how to get rid of this error message?Thanks,Mark  

Hi All,  i am presenting to you a situation to understand if what we are trying to do is feasible.We are currently defining the transformation rules for a Client and these rules are quite complex, including composite logics (multi dimensional) and ranges and lists and masks. Based on our tentatives it seems that composite rules only accept masks as type of mapping apart from single code mapping. is there a way to use Ranges and Lists in composite mappings?I.E. A#[40610047;40610099;40620001]:U5#[??1000????;??1001????;??1002????;??1003????;??1004????;??1005????;??1006????;??1007????;??1008????] Thanks a lotMarco

Hi,I have an import step in a workflow profile, using a connector data source.For the current Scenario/Year there is no data. This is causing an error when I run Load and Transform.I know I can manually set the step to "Completed" using the complete workflow button, but is there a way to set the import step so that the Load and Transform does no fail in the first place when there is no data?Thank you

Doing a simple XFD load and getting a strange message "Cannot load data to 'UD6' member 'member name' because it is not assigned to workflow channel 'Standard' or because the UD member is invalid for the specified cube.1. I have checked the Import_Standard node and can't see a setting that ties to UD6 members. 2. I checked the cube and can see that the parent dimension is allowed for the cube. Any help is appreciated,  Scott 

I need to capture username, date, time, and status, for two processes via Event Handlerload data to cube using workflow profile koolwfforce consolidate ActualsCould someone please point me to sample code or literature? I have been able to gather that I may need to use the transformationEventHandler but can't really reference the data types needed to pull the information listed above. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.  

Has anyone ever seen odd results from a user canceling a Forced consolidation, and subsequently running a normal consolidation?  A later Forced consolidation seemed to have cleared up the issue.  I maybe on a wrong path to what happened, but that's the best I can figure that happened.  

Hi,I have two sets of derivative source rules (see below). What I am looking for is to exclude the Accounts starting with 9203 from the second set of derivative source rules. Each derivative source rule loops through all source data rows, so it is not like in the mask rules, where placing the 9203* expression before the 92* expression would automatically exclude the first from the second set. What's the syntax to exclude something from a rule expression (in derivative rules)? HelloWe have a set of cost recovery related accounts where the recoveries are calculated and captured centrally for budgeting purposes, but the actual recoveries are invoiced to the different entities and need to be captured at local source.I'm trying to find a way to restrict write access to the recovery accounts in our budgeting and forecasting scenarios but allow write access to everyone for the actual scenario. Does anyone have any easy solutions on how to accomplish this?Thanks

I have a Matrix data file with 36 Months of data. The header has the periods in MM/DD/YYYY format. Is it possible to convert this Format to OS Period format like 2023M1 and return in each of the 36-time source dimension in Data Source Setup?

Hi experts, I have a group of GL accounts that I need to map to either an expense / revenue based on the sum of the balances.I thought this would be easy enough with a derivative rule; first create an interim rule to aggregate the accounts and then create a final rule to check if the balance is greater / less than 0.Finally, I have used the final derivative rule in my target account mapping.But, this is not quite working as expected.It seems to just add the negative balances of the individual GL accounts under the "_N" rule and the positive balances under "_P" rule, therefore both my expense and revenue account in OS ends with a balance.Could you please suggest what I am doing wrong?Regards,S

When using drill down to drill from a periodic value back to a connector business rule on a scenario that was loaded as YTD, is there any way to show the "Load Results from Imported Cell" as Periodic instead of YTD?  I would expect the drilldown to keep the same view.   

When I import Journal template via excel Journal name adds workflow,scenario and time to it. Is there way that it does not get added. see screen shot below for reference.
