Originally posted by Hans van der Kemp10/1/2019 We have a dashboard for seeding all required data from source to target scenario for a given range of periods. The "Select seeding process" cbx represents separate DM sequences, each with its own BR attached. The available source/target scenarios should ideally be based on the selected DM process. For example, if user wants to seed Actuals PxQ to FC, then the source should be only S#ActualMan and the target should be 1 of the 12 Forecast scenarios (S#Forecast_M9 etc). Currently they can select any source to seed to any target, independent of the selected DM process.

Column 1 is always Actual at current rates at the pov time period.Column 2 starts as Actual at current rates Prior12 (Reconsolidated with CY rate)The user selects Budget, or a forecast for Column 2 The T#Period for Col2 changes to the same period as Column 1

Originally posted by Dominic Arblaster12/2/2019 I am trying to refresh my dashboards knowledge with the Boston Services Summit Exercise 4 and the last step on page 5 needs BarFormat and LineFormat indicators according to the selected chart in the drop down, or at a minimum what constitutes a Bar Chart {BarFormat}:{SS2019_HelperQueries}{|!ParamChartType!|}{profileEntities=|!ProfileEntities!|, selectTime=|!selectTime!|,dataAdapter=da_SalesProductChart}What is the syntax to get the formatting correct? "Now go to your Data Adapters to the data adapter BR and specify the Param Chart Type where “BarFormat” is.""
Originally posted by Craig Rowe 9/23/2020 I am working with Relational Blending and pulling data from Stage into a dashboard. I am trying to format the value of my data into currency. When I use the query in SQL Server, I can see the correct format, with commas. When I put the same query into my business rule, see the format change the number of decimal places but I don't see the commas.
Originally posted by Cosimo Palmisano7/19/2018 I've got a SQL Table Editor component in a dashboard that queries an SQL View that outer joins two tables. The user can update some fields in a record within the SQL Table Editor component and when they hit save, I call a Dashboard Extender rule that processes the dirty records within the component. The rule starts off by creating an XFSqlTableEditorSaveDataTaskInfo object but not sure where to take it from here. There's the property XFSqlTableEditorSaveDataTaskInfo.EditedDataRows which I assume is a collection of dirty records from the Table component. I'd like to get the ModifiedDataRow values on fields that were updated in the table component so I can write them back to one of the source tables used in the SQL view. Anyone have an example on how to get the value from a modified field?

Originally posted by Jon Kunert I am trying to pull the value of a parameter, =XFGetDashboardParameterValue("IVL_Enabled",True) but it just shows the default value I put in. If I leave it blank I get #value!. I guess I am using it wrong but without an example in the documentation I am stuck
Originally posted by Cosimo Palmisano6/19/2019 I've got a dashboard button that, when clicked on, needs to prompt the user to select an item from a bound list parameter and this selection is then used within a business rule.
Originally posted by Cosimo Palmisano3/5/2020 Could this be done using a basic chart component or would I need to write a data adapter BR to set this up? 2nd screenshot is the cube view / data set that I'd want to use for chart data.
Originally posted by Eric Osmanski4/15/2019 If I create this as a Dashboard I don't believe I can get it like this in a Report ... is the only way to go to Studio?
Originally posted by Chris Briscoe9/30/2019 IS there a way to set up OS to launch a PDF report (or book) from a Dashboard button? I searched but cannot see any? I understand you answer above tho.
Originally posted by Eric Osmanski1/20/2020 Has anyone come up with a clever solution to multi select members via a parameter on a CV?
Originally posted by Christian Wetterwald8/29/2019 I'm building a dashboard with a cubeview and some drop downs. For the parameters, I need to specify the workflow cube, but when I select U3#Top.base, it is showing the lowest base members of the complete dimension and not the base member of the selected cube dimension. Is this expected behavior? And if yes, how else can I get the base member of an extensible dimension?
Originally posted by Christian Wetterwald11/1/2019 I like to use the Literal Parameter values in a project (no presales activity) to pass parameters to a business rule.Looking at it from a business rule, the Dashboard object has an accessible property but it is just a string. Dashboards Literal Parameter setting.
Originally posted by Celvin Kattookaran8/2/2018 Can dashboards to valid intersections. Selection of one drop-down automatically redraws valid selections from another drop-down.
Originally posted by Celvin Kattookaran4/24/2018 I'm trying to create a copy of UTM_HelperQueries, I created a copy of UTM_SolutionHelper and trying to reference that in my new helperquery (UTMR_HelperQueries). It'll not allow me to do reference the main class. Dim utmHelper As New OneStream.BusinessRule.DashboardExtender.UTMR_SolutionHelper.MainClassSaysError at line 141: Type 'OneStream.BusinessRule.DashboardExtender.UTMR_SolutionHelper.MainClass' is not defined. If I edit UTM_HelperQueries same thing happens (changing to DashboardExtender.UTMR_SolutionHelper.MainClass) Is there a way to do this, I don't want to change the default helperquery.
