I need to specify the workflow cube, but when I select U3#Top.base, it is showing the lowest base members of the complete dimension and not the base member of the selected cube dimension.

I'm building a dashboard with a cubeview and some drop downs. For the parameters, I need to specify the workflow cube, but when I select U3#Top.base, it is showing the lowest base members of the complete dimension and not the base member of the selected cube dimension. Is this expected behavior? And if yes, how else can I get the base member of an extensible dimension?
