We recently upgraded from 6.8.1 to 7.1.3 and I have about 5 users who are having issue with Excel add-in.All of them are getting below error once they login. I tried disabling all other add-in etc but it’s not working.Any ideas?Saurin

In the below screenshot, I want to add % (beside the numbers) to the utilization % but whenever I try to add % using cube view formatting, it adds % to all of the four columns. Is there any specific way I can just add % to just utilization %.Note: CM and YTD are two columns. Hours and Utilization are levels which fall under these two columns (CM & YTD)

I am having some issues with customizing Dashboard reports to fit my client's data visualization requirements. I  would appreciate some instructions on how to solve them or a suggestion of workaround. Cannot load/edit colors in Advanced Chart I have not been able to create a new color or input my client’s color pallet into Dashboard – nor on charts or report. I am able to choose the RGB color on Clube View, but on dashboard advance chart I can only chose colors from the drop down and even then they do not apply well to every type of chart. For Radio chart for example the colors do not change on the legend or the bullets. In Report I was able to create a new color pallet but it simply does not apply to the chart.     Client pallet:     Cube View color edit:   I cannot link data to the X and Y axis of the chart in Report I created a radio chart in the report component to have more editing functions, however, I could not find how to link my dimensions

I have created a Flux Analysis Cube View with Annotations/Comments.  Everything is working as expected until I export to PDF.  The Annotations/Comments are not printing to PDF, but columns themselves are.  The interesting things is that the comments are there when I export to excel.   Any ideas why this is happening and is there something I need to do to get the comments to print to PDF.   Thanks!    

Is it possible to open an ".xfdoc.xlBook" directly through the excel add in?  It shows the file within the file explorer but will not let me open.  I can open .xls or other shared files, but it doesn't let me open a book?  The report book does render fine through the client (it pushes it to excel).  However, I would like my end users to just grab the xlbook through the add in versus having to go through the client.   Thanks, Sean

Hi all, I am trying to apply a conditional formatting to a variances column, if higher than last year then shown up arrow (color red) if lower than last year then down (color green). Not sure how you can achieve this?

Hello,    We are currently trying to create a report to use in parcel service outlining which tasks in task manager are currently complete.  We have a sql query being fed into a report, but I am struggling with setting up conditional formatting rules in the report designer.  Is there examples somewhere available to use?  I am specifically trying to turn a cell a specific color if the value contains a specific word or phrase.   Thanks,

A#Trade_Receivables_Net:Name(Accounts receivable, net of allowances for credit losses of $36 on April 30, 2022 and $107 on April 30, 2021) I am hard-coding the line/name : Accounts receivable, net of allowances for credit losses of $36 on April 30, 2022 and $107 on April 30, 2021 to show up on the report as you can in the second image. How can I create a form that I can input a value into for April 30, 2022 or April 30, 2021 or whatever other date? I want that form to populate into this line item. Where do I start to achieve this?

I am trying to get both columns (April 30, 2022 and April 30, 2021) to spread out a bit in the report shown above. I would also like to center ASSETS when my columns are not so close to the middle of the page.

We are looking to pull a Cube View Report into an Extensible PowerPoint document. We have working XF Cells currently but are trying to use the below input to generate the entire Cube View: {XF}{Application}{CubeViewReport}{CubeViewName} Which one(s) of these inputs would we need to update/ is there additional setup needed via Presentation/ Books? We experimented with changing the Cube View name and Application fields but have been unable to return anything.

Hi all, We’ve set up a UD1 member to account for headcount in our application. We have cost centers in our account dimension which we’re using in conjunction with the headcount UD1. The issue is that the numbers translate when reviewing at a base entity depending on the currency or, if we load a USD JE, the numbers are just not visible for base entities in a different currency than USD. I’ve reached out to OS support and they have no reference for a customer using UD for headcount and say that any account type outside of Balance or NonFinancial will translate (CC accounts are expense). Any thoughts on workarounds for this? We’ve settled with the USD JE though that’s clearly not optimal. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thank you,Nicole   PS. I had to add a letter to the header because it didn’t meet the minimum which is why there’s a random r up there 

We have a user who's add in files are adding a prefix to all the formulas of:=@onestreamexceladdin.xfgetfunctions.For all other users this does not show up.  I tried looking at the settings and searching several Excel forums to see what the issue might be.  I am thinking this is an Excel option that may not be set correctly. Has anyone seen this before and do you know what the issue may be?Thank you!  

Hi Folks, I have created a dashboard for Flash reporting, and I’m trying to add a section for commentary. I’ve used the View member “Annotation” in the cube view. This works fine for short comments or comments the length of column, anything beyond that is not visible. Anyone have an suggestion on how to get around this, eg wrap text or maybe another option to add comments to a dashboard. As an FYI, the comments are linked to the parameter on the dashboard. In my screenshot above, I would like to add a $ sign. I know this is done under Number Format. However I would like the $ sign to be aligned to the left-hand side. Would adding a narrow column allow me to do that? Not every line will have a $ sign attached to it. 

Hi everyone, I am looking for a solution to insert dashboards in extensible PowerPoints. I know how to put cube views, reports, etc., into PowerPoint. However, in the object lookup, there is no option for embedded dashboards or other dashboard components. Some background about the dashboard. It is set up using the same way dashboards are set up in Golfstream. It uses some state indicators and labels. The headers and state indicators are set up in separate dashboards and are merged into one dashboard using 2 rows and 1 column.  I have looked at workarounds on how to get the dashboard into a PDF or report. Hi all is there a way to get rid of the + on a nested dimension? In the example below The + on EQUITY accounts indicates that EQUITY is a real parent of the accounts below the +. But for the nested dimension Onestream displays always a + and it "seems" that the element "sys_CLO" is a parent of the element below. But in this case it is not true. "sys_CLO" is only the last element of the subset in the nested dimension.     My goal is to display a list of elements in the nested dimension suppressing 0 values on the rows.   Do you think this is possible not to show the +? Hi All, We have some cube views which dynamically pull columns as per the cycle being planned.  Cycle1 : 4 quarters Cycle2: 3 quarters Cycle3: 6 quarters Cycle4: 5 quarters  These cube views have column separators, highlighted rows and columns. Cube views are included inside spreadsheet component which are then embedded inside the dashboards. ISSUE: Formatting is different for every cycle due to varying number of quarters. We have had to manually update the spreadsheet components for every cycle due to formatting going off. Would anyone have a dynamic solution for this?  

Hi Community ! I am building an application where there is a need to have different "culture" on the accounts. In my cube view, I have a column where the "cell type" is defined as a combo box based on a parameter where the user can enter Yes or No. This parameter is of type "member list" with "Yes" and "No" being actual member of a dimension, and those are translated. However, when I change the language, or when a user with another language open the cube view, the parameter displayed value remain the same (Yes and No, insteas or "Oui" ou "Non" for French).   Is it normal? Or is there a workaround or specific config that should be done in order to achieve that ?   Regards,  

Hello,   I have a requirement to display an error message in a cube view if the value of a cell is greater than the absolute value of 1000. Under the Cell Format I have "If (CellAmount >= 1000) Or (CellAmount <= -1000) Then " Is this approach correct? Is there an absolute value synthax that I could use? Also what is the syntax that I can use to display an error message after the conditions are met?   Thank you for your time and best regards.

Is there an addin whereby I can retrieve data from OneStream into a Word document?

The image above shows the Subtitle 4: Right (For the Year Ended April), border and the columns for the report. Is it possible to have that subtitle be centered above the three columns? 

  I am trying to change the zeroes in my report to become '-'. Can I accomplish the above with an If Statement?
