Is there a way to filter a DataBuffer on DataType or StorageType? I'm running a business rule in T#2023Q3.  This business rule gets a data buffer for an account.  I was expecting the data to be for just the current period (T#2023Q3) which it does however it also brings quarters Q2 and Q1 which I was not expecting!  I don't want this "IsDerrivedData" brought into my data buffer.  How can I filter it out? ' ƒ WOW! - As we advance the Time we bring in the current and all prior periods. So 2023Q3 brings in data for Q3 AND Q2 AND Q2! ' Filtering by time doesn't work "RemoveZeros(T#2023Q3:A#A_BSRCarveout:C#None)"; IsDerrivedData, StoredByNoActivity dragged in, why?!?! I currently have a UD8 that pulls the current timestamp anytime a user updates an intersection and it works just fine. The issue I am having is that when I run a calculation to push an amount to an intersection, there is no audit trail for that. Is there a table where this calculated audit information is stored? I haven't been able to find anything and I would think that OneStream should be able to track the audit trail of calculated members.

Hey,So I have built a flow to push data from one scenario to another by pressing a dashboard button which start a data management job that execute a extender business rule.The extender business rule is executing import, validate and load with the file created through the referenced data management export data step/sequence. The export data step is using a literal parameter in UD1 that is being set before pushing the dashboard button.Above UD1 selection makes it possible to only push/seed data to the other scenario for just a portion of the total data. Over time there will be up to 10 button executions to push all data in UD1 to target scenario.  Everything works fine for me except replacing data in destination scenario/workflow. Currently I use .append in order to load all 10 UD1 areas to one import step in destination workflow/scenario. If the user in this case whould press the button for the same UD1 selection a second time, I would have the data twice. What I wou

Hi All,  I have a combo box that is in the main dashboard called cb_OnMaindash. The combo box has a parameter linked to it (i.e., a bound parameter) this is delimited list parameter called dl_ComboBox_param. The display items (dash1, dash2, dash3, dash4) and value item (Dashboard_1, Dashboard_2, Dashboard_3, Dashboard_4).  These value items are actual dashboard that I am trying to pull when ever a user selects a specific item from the combo box. Parametername: dl_ComboBox_paramparameter type: delimited listdisplay items: dash1, dash2, dash3, dash4value items: Dashboard_1, Dashboard_2, Dashboard_3, Dashboard_4Combo BoxName: cb_OnMaindash   The issue is when i am testing this and select dash1 the dashboard is loaded but the item displayed on the combo box is wrong for example it would display Dash3 instead of Dash1. same thing if I were to select Dash2 and it will either display Dash1 or Dash3. it will only update the selected item if I click

I am displaying a list of members in a listbox on a dashboard. With the format IsMultiSelect=False, the members with an underscore display correctly. When the format IsMultiSelect=True is used, the underscore in the member name is not shown. The listbox knows there is an underscore because I display the selections on the dashboard and they display correctly.Before I raise a ticket with support, has anyone met this before and has a workaround? Or am I doing something stupid?Thanks

Hi, I am loading periodic data and in some periods there are derived amounts (due to no periodic data for some periods).  The YTD values appear as derived data.  However, the parent entity isn't rolling up correctly because the parent is not including the derived amounts of the children. What is the most straightforward / best method to include the child's derived value in the parent value for the entity to correct this?  (I am ok with storing the children's derived values, but not sure of best method for that, either.)Thank you!

Hello, I have a problem with a couple business rules running at the wrong times from within a dashboard.  The background: I have a business rule that changes the formatting of the buttons on a dashboard to show which one was clicked last. The buttons function as "tabs," each linking to a report; the button linking to the currently selected report shows itself as highlighted. To do this, I have the name of the current active button stored in a literal parameter. When a button is clicked to launch a report, a business rule rewrites the value of this literal parameter. (An XFBR String rule then reads this parameter to determine how to format the buttons, and is output to button - formatting - display format). The problem: When I launch the dashboard from OnePlace, the highlighting works correctly, showing a set of buttons with the first button highlighted. When I click another button, the button works correctly by launching a report, but the first button remains highlighted. The li

Hi all,  We have data coming into Import/stage that subtotals to zero when it validates/maps into the cube. We need to review this data in import/stage before the validation and the easiest way would be a QV or CV instead of having the user manually go into the workflow and export the data. I thought accessing stage data in a QV/CV was possible but I can't find specifics. Any direction would be useful - thanks! 

Hey all,We are trying to creating a toggle button so that the dashboard will render based on the selection. We have 4 Scenarios and we want to compare those but the scenarios will be selected by the end user at run time and s/he can change the selection as many number s/he wants.I have tried to achieve this via Checkbox but that is not working as expected for multiple users as the literal parameter gets updated every time.I tried radio button as well but it looks like so many option (buttons) on the dashboard. Do anyone have any other suggestions on this? Below are layout images on both tries we done. Radio button (first image) looks best but as mentioned above not working as we want too.   

I have a dashboard with a button component in which I have a XFBR String which alternates between two colors for the button's image background when clicked. Similary, I would like to be able to alternate between two images for my button when clicked. Is this possible with a XFBR String at all ? I thought I could return the image's file name with a XFBR String under Image URL Or Full File Name   or can XFBR Strings only be used under Display Format ?

Hi, Did anyone have any situation when they deleted a DM Job by accident? How can you retrieve that? There's no Orphaned area for DM jobs for us, unfortunately. I can't find any back up for it. Would save us a lot of time if we avoid rebuilding it. Thanks in advance. Regards, Irina

Recently I heard in these forums that FDX methods (like FdxExecuteCubeView) should be used from a BR whenever the performance of the data is critical. Can someone help me understand why they are faster? We've already built quite a lot of client-integration software using cubeviews.  The cubeviews are being executed via the REST api.  We are retrieving data with "api/DataProvider/GetAdoDataSetForCubeViewCommand". Now that I have discovered the "FDX" methods, it puts me in the troublesome position.  I realize that a ton of our integration software should probably be re-written to use those FDX methods.  The re-write may take some time.  Why won't onestream just extend the "normal" cubeview interface of the REST api, and add an option to run it in FDX mode?  That would be similar to the "turbo" buttons they used to put on a the tower of a PC to make it run faster (for those users who had a preference between a fast computer and a slow one.)
