Hi, This is most likely basic but I cannot find a reference for this.  I want to show the time Quarter in a cube view, but the name should be the last month of the quarter instead of Q1. Should be March 2023. May I know how to do this? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I sent out an excel cube view report to My colleague. He filled in the numbers and sent it back to me to submit. However, when I click the submit button in excel, the cube view report number is overridden ( to existing system data) and the number my colleagues input is gone. Any way to submit his number before the cube view loads the previous number? Thank you.

Some users are facing issue when running a calculate in a specific form in OS. I attached the error log. We're not able to replicate the issue. We notice that around the time the issue occured the CPU usage was 14%. I don't know if there's any link. Can you, please, help ? The formula I created to calculate the MoM Variance% does not work. I am using the column filter to do the calculation. MoM Variance and Prior Year are calculations based on other columns in the report. What am I missing?GetDataCell(BWPercent(CVC(MOM_Variance), CVC(Prior_year))):Name(MoM Change %)    

Was making a application copy of which we do all the time. I have one environment. OS told us to download the new version of application copy and we did. Ran fine last week now we are receiving a failed error. I noticed that the iis reset is now not in the script.  This is my selection  

How do I filter I#ICEntities exclude E#Group(Text 5 = Equity) in Cube View and Excel Add In?

We are working on security settings for RCM and noticed that we can view the Actual results/all workflow steps. Is there a way to hide the Actual workflow steps from RCM only users? Currently if a user has access to RCM under the Model scenario they can still click on the Actual scenario and see their steps/all data. If there is not a way to easily hide the actual workflow steps/data are the 2 main options to create a suffix for the Model scenario and have it be its own cube root or to do slice security? Or do we need to also have the Read group for actuals be a large group of users that don't include only RCM users? 

Hi all,    This is a follow up on this original post (Reduce the size of empty row - OneStream Community (onestreamsoftware.com)). Does anyone know how to reduce the row size? For columns we have the ColumnWidth option in the formatting tab but there's no direct equivalence for rows. Thank you!

Hi, I am trying to load data from file where amount should be calculated as prior period minus current period and loaded. I tried using derivative rule to setup current period equal to prior period and multiply by -1 as below but it is being assigned to prior month, it is taking the current month value as below and calculated as zero. Please help me how I can assigned prior month value to current month.   Thanks, Manju Komara

I am trying to build a cube view where the columns represent the 4 quarters in the year and then a YTD column. So if the POV is 2023M8 then I would like to see Q1 2023, Q22023, Q3 (should be M7+M8) and Q4 should be zero. I have tried this but it is still displaying the total for q3 even if my pov is M8 it is still picking up M9 T#Quarter(|PovTime|).allpriorinyearinclusive:V#periodic my next column has this T#Quarter(|PovTime|).allnextinyear:V#periodic but it is still showing the YTD reversal any suggestions? thanks

Hi All - explored other threads but could not find the right answer. Unsure if this should be one or two mappings and what type if they are a conditional rule or composite? If value at SourceAccount MAIN has a value of 1, then: Source should be SourceAccount A for Target Account A and Source should be SourceAccount B for Target Account B Otherwise, Source should be SourceAccount C for Target Account A, Source should be SourceAccount D for Target Account B Thanks!  

I am trying to update StageSoureData table with member information during import step at BREventOperationType.Transformation.ParseAndTrans.WriteTransformedData event. Next when I go to validate step I am not seeing the updated data from StageSoureData table.Any idea from which table or cache the validate and intersect steps will get data?Thank you

We have come across an issue where a subledger has been loaded but is not picking up a singular item/line in the subledger. The item contains a number of commas and special characters in one of the text attribute columns, as do other items in the subledger, these other items load no problem. For additional context the item contains over 100 characters in this text attribute column, as do other items in the subledger, and although a character limit had been placed in the data source via complex expression all other items make it in except this item. Any thoughts would be great, Thanks!

Dear all, I'd like to ask about a generalization for the "Insert suppressed Member" tool. In the link (Insert Suppressed Row Members - OneStream Community (onestreamsoftware.com)), we can find a successful case but I can't implement it in a general case using member list. Also, at the beginning of the list, I added the parent member ("ICEntities" in this case). The issue is that when there's no data, the whole line is suppressed so it's impossible to use the "Insert suppressed Member" option. Also I checked the options for the columns as recommended here (Solved: Cube view rows suppression - OneStream Community (onestreamsoftware.com)) but the main line still doesn't appear. Hi everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to retrieve the workflow status of a workflow profile in Excel.  Thanks for any help! Floris

When we use the "Import a TRX file into the selected group" icon, the .trx file keeps getting uploaded into the "one-to-one" type. How I upload my .trx file into the proper Type (i.e. Mask, List, Range, etc). Background: I extra a copy of an existing transformation mapping by going to a rules profile/group and clicking onto the "Export selected group to a TRX file" on the top of the page.  Once I edit a few mapping changes and save the file back as .trx, I attempt to upload this .trx file using the other icon, "Import a TRX file into the selected group".  However, each and every time I upload this file, it doesn't hit the right Type (i.e. Mask, etc).  I extract from a Mask, and attempt to upload into the Mask Type, but the file keeps on going into the "one-to-one" type.  There must be a change I need to make to the .trx file before uploading it, to allow the system to know to upload the file into the Mask type and not the one-to-one type?   

OneStream community,  I have been experiencing a weird bug lately... when scrolling too quickly in the FX Rates page, OneStream freezes up.  Sometimes, going to my computer Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) and ending the program closes OneStream, while other times that does not even work and I have to restart my computer.   Are other experiences this issue/bug?  

Hello - I'm working on a cube view that will be used to add variance commentary. The rows have accounts and subtotals, the first column will have a specific entity that will not change, then the next set of columns will be dynamic. I have it set to pull base entities based on specific text values. The entities that do have the first text value (called "DP_2023Q4") are appearing as intended, however there are no entities that have the text value (AQ_2023Q4) in the member filter of the next column, so when I run the CV it just repeats the first column to the right of the columns with the DP_2023Q4 entities. I have several questions for this: 1. How can I set the cube view to return a blank column if there are no base members that have a particular text value? I added a column override with a UD8 dynamic calc set to return nothing if there's no data, and that didn't work. 2. Right now the member filters are set to look for text values that have "DP_|WFYear|Q4" and "AQ_|WFYear|Q4". This sh

Hi,   I have a WF where I dont want to have user load data through import. Only Forms and Adj. I could turn the profile Active to False.but the problem is  I have a historic WF where is an import level for this entity. I tried doing the  optional data load to True. when i am complete the Workflow for the Import step - I get a error saying import step doesnt have a datasource assigned- which is expected as I am not having a active TB load.   Any suggestion where I can complete the WF - Import step without really loading data?

Hi, We're trying to allow all users (Everyone) write access to a specific dimension V#Annotation for all entities that they have read access to. Example: UserA is part of a security group that has only read access to Entity1. We would like them to be able to write only to V#Annotation on Entity1 as well. We've tried using Data Cell Access Security but I can't get it to increase / decrease security where we want it to. Is it possible to increase access to users who don't already have write access to a specific entity? If so, what would be the best way to accomplish this?

Hi all - This is probably pretty basic, but I keep getting stumped. Ultimately I have two monthly metrics I want to look at for each month for current year and prior year. I can get the current year rows set and working, but for some reason for the prior year rows, it shows me the full year data instead of the periodic, even when the cell POV shows "periodic" it fails to grab the month with the year. set up like this:   The months are tied to the columns and the year is tied to the row. Any idea why my PY rows cannot recognize the month while the current year can?
