Hi Team,In guided reporting, I've attached cube views that contain parameters. Defined global options in guided reporting setting.When I discover parameters, it does not work. Can't see the parameter list.

Hello, I have recently uploaded the May'25 Trial Balance into OneStream and one of my reports is reporting a line item as $5 more than what the Trial Balance says it is. This particular line item is driven by a single account so the report is set up to say whatever is in account XXXXX, generate that on the report. Any suggestions as to why the report is off by $5??

To integrate with SAP using RFC will I need to configure a data source on the SIC gateway or will I just need to add the appropriate DLL's to the referenced assemblies folder?

Hi  I am currenty building a dashbord for our controllers, including a menu. But I would like to use the same icons as used in OneStream, e.g. Refresh Page, Help, etc. But I have not manage to find them in OneStream. Are they copyrigth'ed, unique or were can I find them? Regards  Ole  

Hello All, Our initial setup had everything copying data files to Application/Batch/Harvest folder.  There has been multiple years of files stored in this location making it unable to open.  I am trying to create something to pull the files and if folders are created to delete the stored files.  I am uable to open the path and the clean up business rule fails to run due to the size.  I spoke with some developers at Nashville Splash and am reaching out on here as well.

Need to copy an IC account data (Is IC Account = True) between scenarios, one way or another, and it seems like I can't.Tried databuffer copy - no worky. Tried api.data.calculate - same, nothing copied. In the end I tried "Copy Data" data management step for the entire data unit and IC account hasn't been copied.I set "Is IC Account = False" in the account settings and the data was copied without any problem, so said IC setting seems to be the only reason.Is this normal behavior? Something I missed in the documentation?

I am trying to replicate the example from the design & reference guideHowever, i dont seem to have a cubeViewColumn (last line in screenshot) object. The documentation does not show an example of creating this object. Any suggestion would be much appreciated.thanks 

I am currently working on a SQL Table Editor component in Workspaces and would like to know if it is possible to dynamically change the background color of a cell after a user edits its content (e.g. highlight the updated cell in a different color). Is this functionality supported in the SQL Table Editor? If so, please share how to implement this behavior - either through a business rule, parameter or any available UI configuration. Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Was asked to create a dashboard that gives the HQ admin the ability to lock and unlock Workflow profiles. Found bits and parts to use the user POV and descendants. Unlock descendants isn't working but.. Was looking at member tree and some of the other tree functionality, but couldn't get it to work for profiles. My thought is the profile hierarchy then they would select what to lock or unlock. Was curious if anyone had any recommendations or solutions they could share? Appreciate it in advance! 

Hi, Can someone point me to a syntax cheat sheet for formatting cube views and reports in Excel? I'm trying to get this number to show in thousands and have my negative numbers be in red with parentheses, and I'm super close, but I have this odd space at the end I can't seem to solve.  ChatGPT got me here:  ExcelNumberFormat = [#,##0,_);[Red](#,##0,_))] But it's stuck there. 

Hi all, I'm just trying to get a feel for how common this use of proxy members is these days.  I've worked for multiple organizations and typically, if we were planning at any level higher than the most granular level of data, we would plan a number representing a group of members, at some 'proxy' member created specifically for planning purposes.  That is, we would not use some random existing base member that held actuals. For example:If our dimension hierarchy looks like the one below and we were planning at the Region Level:I would not plan for the entire RegionA by loading my planning data to "South3".Instead, I would create a unique member (say, "RegionA_Plan") and load my data there.Wondering how many companies out there would use the first method rather than the second method and what advantage there would be to this?Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.RegionA     North        North1        North2  &n

I am trying to configure a data adapter through the service factory. The assembly containing the services factory is on another maintenance unit. The assembly is WsasFactory and when attempting to bring the data set into an adapter it can't seem to find that object reference to the assembly. The assembly and service factory are configured on each maintenance unit and workspace as shown: MyAssembly.WsasFactoryWhen attempting to bring it into the data adapter I have tried using...{WSMU}{MyDataSet}{}{WS}{MyDataSet}{}{Workspace.Current.WS}{MyDataSet}Yet, I keep getting this error for each reference shown above - Error processing DataSet 'MenuNavPM'. Unable to find the Workspace Assembly Service Factory class for name 'WSMU' in Workspace Is there a reference special for using the service factory between maintenance units I am missing? 

Hi all,We have a situation where an Entity was created and incorrectly set up and contains data for period 2024M12 and 2025M3.We decided to create a new Entity and updated the transformation rules to ensure that the data loaded goes to the newly created member and not the old one.We have set the consolidation and ownership percentage of the old entity to 0 as added measure.We are now faced with the challenge of not deleting the member as it contains data.Kindly asking if it is advisable to set the In Use feature in this scenario and is there any impact that would cause.Thanks in advance.

Hello, Would it be possible for me to generate a CubeView using multiple cubes? I know it would be possible using an XFGETCELL since we have to point to the specific cube in the formula. We are currently utilizing a single cube with all the parent and base level members in our dimensions and are transitioning into 2 Cubes (1 for the summary/parent level and 1 for all base level members). Our existing reports for example A#NET_INCOME.treedescendantsinclusive would work fine in our single cube, but it may not work when we move the parent & base level members to separate cubes.

We have a large flat hierarchy, members starting with Px_1000 to Px_9999. For example, P1_1000_27 Project 1, P5_1001 Project Yellow.... P7_9999 Project Bob. The numbers are unique (no two same number). We want a report that allows users to enter a "From" - "To" to pull back members in that range. For instance, only pull back members in the range "From" 500 To "532". Have an XFBR where I'm parsing the string, that's working, looping through and but only returning the number. The issue is that I need the entire string and description of the member. That's where I'm stuck. If anyone has done this before, would very much like know how you coded the XFBR. Thank you!

Is someone able to assist me with an alternative method for GetCalculatedFxRate on line 14 of the code below?  We just upgraded to 8.5.1 and this is no longer being supported.  In 8.2.3 it was still working.  This is a parser business rule that is being applied to a data source and calculation happening when data is being imported. Hi everyone, I suspect that this is fairly simple, but I haven't been able to find a solution as yet.I need to add formulas for Debtor Days, Creditor Days, and Inventory Days, all of which use 12-month averages in the calculation. The also all use the number of days in the month.Does anyone have an example of the syntax needed to include both of these?Thanks

Hi All,I am currently setting up account reconcillations manager (RCM) and import both YTD GL data and Periodic Flow data in the actual scenario. I want to bring in just the YTD GL data into RCM, but it's bringing in both data sets. How can I exclude the Import Flow Data? I know that I can filter on the workflow profile "Import Flow Data" in the Account Rec inventory and delete them, but I'd rather the flow data just not come into RCM in the first place. Thanks for the help!
