Hi everybody, I would like to schedule an automatic extract of the security (users/groups/roles) I plan to use a data management job and a BR but I cannot find the syntax of the rule. The code "applicationZipFileHelper" does not extract the security, only the application. Thank you for your help  

Is there any way we can mask the People Planning register data in XFW_PLP_Register Table? The table contains sensitive information like employee salary which cna be accessed by an Non HR Admin.What is the possible solution for this.

Hi Everyone, We recently migrated from 7.1.3 to 8.4 . after migrations, we are facing issue in Calcstatus- Consolidation from Bottom to Top ( Parent).   we tried to consolidated-calcstatus from beginning of the data to till now. But its not running properly or not showing value in parent level. after closing cubeview again its showing CN. is there anyone faced this issue and find the solutions?     

Hi All, I am designing a new app with huge data set at detailed level and need time at weeks level. I would like to know if going by custom profile with time dimension at weeks level would be more efficient or having time dimension at month level and using WEEKS in User defined dimension would be better in the performance. It would be great if you can share some pros and cons for both the approaches and which one would be optimistic. Thanks in advance.   

how can i retrieve Entity, description, currency, IsIC and few text fields in Cube view like in Grid view for entity dimension?

There are data management tasks scheduled, they are designed to extract OneStream data and load to external database. Some failed with below error messages, but they succeeded later on. Just wondering what could be the possible causes, I would appreciate if anyone could help me understand                

Hello, everyone, I created book in OneStream, which includes several cube views, and open this book in Excel OneStream Add-in. Could you please advise can I change some parameters in this book, for example Time member, and refresh all cube views in this book in order to received updated figures based on new parameter? Or it's not possible, because books which I open in Excel OneStream Add-in, contains only values and if I want to update reports via Excel OneStream Add-in I need to create quick views in Excel OneStream Add-in?  

It does not appear that Cube View Extender Rules can be applied to Excel output. Can someone confirm this or provide an example if you have gotten this to work? Thanks!

Hi AllWe are using 8.4 at our new client and have been tasked with creating dashboards suitable to view on a tablet, web, windows app and phone.We have created different dashboards for each of the different devices, i.e. tablet, phone, windows app and web but have noted that for example, the phone dashboard formatting shows differently on each phone, depending on the phone screen size and it does not auto adjust to fit the screen size of every phone.Same as for tablet, web and windowsApp. Where can I get settings for auto fit on each device so that it shows uniformly on each device regardless of screen size? 

Hi there,I'm looking to automate dimension uploads in that I want the dimension to be "replaced" with the new one that I am loading. I want to reduce the burden of having to add or remove members from dimension and just automate that process. How can this be done and where should I start? Thank you in advance, Joesef

Hi, I am unable to access external database view via sql table editor in the Cloud OneStream (version 8.2). Can somebody suggest what can be the possible issues? It is working fine when accessing the current app database but only issue is when accessing external database. The external connections are fine as able to access the data via data adapters.

I have 1200+ orphaned members with no data in my U6 custom dimension that I'd like to delete.   The delete icon only allows 1 delete at a time.  Is there a way to perform a mass delete?

HiI appear to be having a slight issue when trying to feed the user selection of multi combo boxes embedded in the main dashboard to other dashboards that the user would be navigating to (i.e. their selection on the main dashboard would be the default in the next dashboard).  I can currently only get it to work for one single combo box at a time?I'm using a Dashboard Extender Rule which incorporates both the LoadDashboard function type (this is activated against a server task for the dashboard being navigated to) and the ComponentSelectionChanged function type (this is attached to each of the combo boxes as a changed server task)Any advice on this would be much appreciated or if there is a easier way to achieve it?ThanksAndy 

The Preserve Excel Format option seems to work for retaining formatting done in Excel when re-opening and refreshing cube views. However, I'm finding that my data is greyed out as if invalidated upon refreshing a cube-view in Excel after the initial connection. I've tried setting the font color to black and that was overridden upon refreshing as well, even though all other formatting is still intact. Perhaps there is a setting I am missing?

Hello,  I am wondering if there is any way to change a fiscal year once we have been using the application for quite sometime (several years.)  Our current Fiscal year is 2025 so all the data is being imported into year 2025, but we now need to adjust our fiscal year one year back.  So everything in 2025 becomes 2024.   Is this possible?  Or what options might I think about? Would I need to setup and start using a new scenario? Any ideas, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you  

I have a dashboard with a cubeview.  The user is allowed to enter data into multiple cells and then save.  I have a save event handler to verify the data entered, however, I cannot access all of the information at one time.  The event handler provides access to one cell at a time.  Also,within each row I have a cell where users may change the numeric value and another where they type in an annotation.  Changes to the numeric value cells will fire the event handler however changes to the annotation cells alone will not trigger the event handler.  Is there any way to access the entire cubeview pre saved data to verify entries.  I need to know that if a user entered a value that they also entered an annotation or if the user removed an annotation where a numeric value existed on that row.

I have a Cubeview that's Header rows are Entity/Account/UD2.  I'm going to export to excel, but currently I get column A is Entity, Column B is Account and Column C is UD2. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to make Column B be a concatenation of Account and UD2 when it's exported.  Column C can be whatever or not at all.

I'm trying to load a workflow using an Excel template and need to set the *WorkflowName* as one of the following: Import, Validate, Load, Process, Workspace, Confirm.Currently, I'm using the highlighted value in the *Workflow* column for this purpose.Similarly, if I need to set the *WorkflowName* to Workspace, Direct, Process, Confirm, Certify using the template, what value should I use?
