Does anyone know how to format the object lookup cell in the cubeview? We currently have formatting on the cube view as follows.    If(IsRowNumberEven = True) Then BackgroundColor = #FFFFFFFF, *white* ExcelBackgroundColor = #FFFFFFFF, Else BackgroundColor = #FFCFF0FC, *blue* ExcelBackgroundColor = #FFCFF0FC, End If If (RowName contains 'NoZebra') or (IsColHeader = true) then BackgroundColor = #FFFFFFFF, *white* ExcelBackgroundColor = #FFFFFFFF, end if   In some of our reports we use IsRowNumberEven = False, but in this case I need the odd rows to be blue, but since it counts the column headers I don't know how to get around this.   

Hi all, I've created 6 separate cube views to replicate a pdf report that we send out monthly to the Board. The CV's themselves are not too big - say 10-15 columns by about 15 rows. In the report, we previously combine the 6 tables into 1 pdf across 2 pages - normally a cut and paste job from Excel.  Now that I have built the cube views, is there a way to combine all of these onto one or 2 pages in a Report Book? I have created a book now with them, but the CV reports print to separate pages. Because of this, they only take up 1/4 of the page, so there is a lot of white space and would then push the report out from 2 pages to 6 pages - not ideal to present to the board.  Alternatively, is there a dashboard layout where you can combine and export multiple CV's on the same page? My current dashboards are in the Tab layout with the CVs separated by tabs.  I know an easier option would be to create a large cube view and separate the reports with blank rows, but this isn't po

Hello, I need to create an advanced chart which shows two data bars, each bar is taken from a different cube view. I have tried to add the two Data Adapters which are each based on its own cube view, but the chart is displaying only data from the first cube. Is this possible by using the cube views data adapters or is it needed to create a business rule or something else?   Thank you.

How do others manage User Names in their applications? We were advised to use FirstName LastName as the user name, the Description field is not used (screen shot below). We have single sign on enabled which uses AzureSSO and the employees 5 digit number assigned by IT.   We have several name changes that we have held off on making in our application.  Our application includes a custom compensation model that also leverages the User Name and a separate security model within that module.  We can replicate the name change in the comp model and test;  however we are concerned about other implications that we have not considered. Our implementation partner highly cautioned us from renaming metadata.    I fully appreciate the complexities with Entity or Account metadata name changes;  however in this User Name metadata, the implications seem small (historical logs will have the old name pre change and new name post change, possibly an impact to their f

Hello, I am trying to create a FX Scenario - Acutuals at Prior Year Rate. I know i can use Constant Year For FX Rate and assign the year from which OneStream will pick Actuals rate in this case. But i dont want the user to be changing this property every year. My approach is to set "Translation Algorithm Type" to "Standard Using Business Rules For FX Rates" and create a custom translation for that specific scenario "Actuals at Prior Year Rate".  Does anyone has the logic to translate the scenario using Actual Exchange rate tables switching one year back from the POV being translated?

Hi Everyone, In our system - Profit Center is in the Entity Dim and Cost Center is in UD1. Only specific Cost Center(s) are valid per profit center, and this mapping is stored in a SQL table in the system.   The need is to be able to enter data for 1 specific account, against all valid CC and PC combinations.  In Cube Views - if we have Entity.Base in rows, is it possible to get the valid UD1 in the row using the mapping table?

Hi, I have an application DB table with a date column and I am using the LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile function to load a CSV file to the table. The xfDateTime# token is assigned to the column in the LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile  function. The dates in the CSV file are in the dd-mm-yyyy format. However, the LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile function assume the dates are in the mm-dd-yyyy format. Data is loaded but when querying the table using the Month() SQL function for example, the day is return instead. Is there a way to make sure LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile  knows the date column in the data file is in the dd-mm-yyyy format? Thank you

Whats the Table name where all the Dimensions are stored ? I need to generate/Automate a report which will give me a list of all Dimensions setup in our system. I can do it using the Extract process But I need to write a business rule to SFTP the output of the dimensions data

Hi all, I'm still new to Cube Views and how dynamic they can be.  We currently have 3 separate Cube Views, call them Canada_Results, US_Results, and UK_Results that are run independently by different users. These each have their own unique Account and UD intersections in each row. Our corporate group would have their own Cube View, call it Global_Results which displays the total results.  Is there a way to build our rows in Global_Results to simply "grab" the row results from these existing Cube Views using a function like GetDataCell? We'd like to avoid creating calculated accounts or re-entering our Account/UD intersections as a formula for each row in Global_Results as that would get tedious for us to maintain.  Thanks!

Hi, I have a data management step/data management sequence that use member dialog parameters, which means users are prompted for the parameters selection when running them. I have attached the data management sequence to a Pre-process step of a workflow (via calculation definition, setting the filter value equal to the data management sequence name and using a DataQualityEventHandler rule). However, when running the Pre-process step the data management sequence runs using the default values for the parameters and users are not prompted for the parameters selection. How do I make so that users are prompted for the parameters selection when running the Pre-process step?

My client needs me to capture foreign characters apart from regular English as part of Account Metadata. Some of their ERP(Account/Entity) data is in chinese characters and the question was will this be brought in to onestream in their local language or do they first need to translate it to english?    

My Cube view has entities in rows. One of the rows is a sum of several entities ( E#A1+E#A2+E#A3). In the 4 columns I have Actual, Budget, Variance and Variance%. Variance and Variance % being calculated from the two first columns. Works fine except for the row that is a sum of several entities. For this row I believe the variance-columns displays the variance for the first entity (E#A1). How can I solve this? Can I set calc order anywhere?

How do I combine XFMemberProperty with Dynamic expansion in a cube view?  E.g. I want to expand Entity and account on Rows. Row1: E1 =E#Total.Base, E2=A#FinancialAssets.Base in columns I have transaction and ledger amounts (UD5) and then I want to add one column with entity currency and one with Text8 which we are using for region. Based on the entity on each row. So the XFGetMembers should reference to Row1 Expanion 1. I am trying to create a form template using all base and Origin as form.When I am running the form through WF,i get a light green shade in the fields where I need to key in data.Any suggestion as to why I am unable to see the white cells?

Hello,While trying to import data through a workflow from a *CSV file I am getting the error from below when performing the Load step of the workflow: These are the only details of the error, in the Task Activity there are no relevant details for this error.This seems to be a generic error. Hello, Is it possible to remove user defined dimension association from cube (Application>Cubes>Cube Dimensions)? We've an unused dimension initially created but now we'd like to remove it, as all data is loaded at None member. But when we try to change that UD7 dimension setting to default (RootUD7Dim), it throws below error: "Error updating cube. Unable to modify cube 'CUBENAMEXXXX' dimensions because the cube has data."   I know that error is because we've loaded data already but just wondering if there's a way to get rid of this dimension from cube.   Thanks, Gaurav  

Hi, I have a requirement to report on transaction currency. Is there a way for me not to use any UDs to hold the transaction currency? May be  using the alternate input currency in flow? Any suggestion is appreciated . Thanks
