Hi I have a dashboard that executes an Import > Validate > Process using a business rule.In my workflow I am currently using Workspace, Import, Validate, Process, Confirm:I would like to just use Workspace, Confirm, but it gives me the following error: "Cannot execute step because the specified step classification doesn't exist for the workflow profile." Is there anyway around this? Thanks,Mark

We have a requirement to make all the negative value to encode in parenthesis () and to display percentage % for the column "Variance vs Prior year %" in the Cube View. Anyhow, we have written formatting condition as"If (ColName Contains '%') ThenReportNoDataNumberFormat = [#,###,0.00;(#,###,0.00);0.00], ShowPercentSign = TrueEnd If" and it works perfectly fine in the data explorer tab. But while running it in the report it displays only parenthesis () and the percentage sign is missing.  The above is the screenshot from data explorer tab.  The above is the screenshot from while running it in the report.

Hello.  I have a user who is attempting to refresh his excel workbook using the Refresh Workbook button.  The file contains multiple tabs with XFGETs only.  He is returning the following error message.  I can re-create the error on my end, but the refresh workbook also appears to work intermittently.Has anyone come across this error before and know the cause/remedy? 

I have currently set up a new data source and associated transformation rules (and allocated to the appropriate workflow). Data importing is correctly working for 2022 time period, however I am getting the following error in any other time period......I have got the Scenario as 'Current Datakey' and Time as matrix datakey in my columnsSummary: No valid DataKeys (Scenario / Time) found in data source.  Review the source data load processing log and check one-to-one transformation rules to ensure that you have created proper Scenario and Time dimension rules for this data source. Any ideas? I am assuming this might be one simple setting change somewhere 

Hi,  Is it possible to create a dependent dropdown list using a SQL Table Editor? Example below: If I select Entity A in the Entity column, I would like PC1, PC2 to be options within the Profit Centre column. If I select Entity B in the Entity column, I would like PC3, PC4 to be options within the Profit Centre column.   I have tried using 'Selection Changed Server Task' to update a Literal Parameter that I can use as a basis for a Bound List parameter that I am attaching to the Profit Centre column , however this only appears to work after the row has been saved:   I think it may be possible if the user was to save the row after choosing the Entity and then selecting a Profit Centre, but this wouldn't be an ideal user journey.   Thanks, Mark

Hi All, Is there a possibility to update WFScenario for all users of the application from back end through a Business Rule? When moving the app from one quarter to another for Financial Regional planning, some of the not so tech savvy Sales users are forgetting to change their WFScenario and triggering the calculations which are erroring out due to older scenarios being locked. We would like to have Admin update WFScenario for all the users of the application as a maintenance task.  Please let me know if the below would work for all the users. Or any other leads would also be appreciated.  

Hello all !I come to you about quickviews which crashed when we tried to open them.We built lot of quickviews for the top-reporting or analysis of figures. We store them on the server company and when we try to reopen them to update, all formulas crash (hsget... hsset... )Did you already see a similar case ? Did you find a solution ?thank you all,VN

Hi guys,I coudn't find the proper hint in OneStream.In my dashboards, I'm using several XFBR string rules or Dashboard extender rules. I would like to move some of them to Workspace assemblies, available starting version 7.4. If I do so, does anybody know how to call a function in there?Stupid example, I'm defining the position of a temporary file to download with an XFBR rule called MyXFBR, function CleanUsername.UrlOrFullFileName=[Internal/Users/XFBR(MyXFBR, CleanUsername)/Temp/FileToDownload.csv] Now I've created the same function CleanUsername in a Workspace assembly named MyAssembly, in a file named FolderManagement.vb. How this should be amended?XFBR(MyXFBR, CleanUsername)?? XFBR(MyAssembly, FolderManagement, CleanUsername) ?? it doesn't look very good.... That's pretty new, but I hope a few guys in this community have used it already. 

Hello,is there a way to grant access to unlock WFs by scenario. for e.g. we need the FPA team to be able to unlock budget WFs and the consolidation team to unlock actual scenarios. Currently, they both have access to unlock all WFs.Thanks for your help. Hadi

I am having an issue where the the logo assigned in application properties is not appearing on exported PDF reports. I have sized the image to 50 pixels in height and have set the "ReportIncludePageHeader = True" on the cube view header format. The logo is still not appearing. Are there any other settings that need to be changed for it to appear on the reports?  

Hello, did anyone find the OneStream Foundation Handbook useful for learning the software?  the copy I see on amazon is from 2021.  Are there different editions available?  thank you.

I have a cube view that displays values that are entered monthly. For the months that haven't had any data entered yet, it automatically fills in a 0 in a greyed-out format. Similarly, if I display this same row in a YTD view, it shows the YTD value in the months that have not been entered in yet. My customer would prefer these cells display no value. I cannot find any setting or formatting that will display it that way.I've tried changing the number format to empty string ("") based on IsNoData or IsDerived but that has not yielded the desired result.

Hello OS Team,I am testing a few things in the latest version 7.4.1 and noticed something changes from 7.3 but was not mentioned in the release note - so just want to double check in case I missed something:For this Import step, I don't have anything configured in "Calculation Definition", in 7.3 I am able to Load and Process cube without any error, however in 7.4 - the "Load And Process Cube" only did the "Load" and when clicked on "Process Cube", I am seeing the following error.I actually like this change - could you please let me know whether this is indeed one of the changes in 7.4?Many thanksWei

An allocation business rule is not allocating the rates properly . Hence we would like to debug the business rule and also figure out which intersections are passed and what is the value and allocation rate used in allocation calculation . This allocation process involves a formula in UD7 member . Please advise how to see the messages used in api.logmessage . Should we need to create a dashboard to capture the messages that are logged while running the allocations. Again, we are looking for which members used and the value / rate used to allocate.

Hello; Im crating a cube view with 2 rows (maybe more) that one of them is a result of a complex function: "A#INCOME_STATEMENT.Base.Where(Text1 Startswith On-Campus)" and shows several rows qualified as Text1, now I want to sum those Accounts but don't like to use each Account; it could be possible to use a function in a 2nd row like this: GetDataCell(A#INCOME_STATEMENT.Base.Where(Text1 Startswith On-Campus))::Name(On-Campus) is that possible?   Thanks in advanceand best Regards. I am trying to write a parser business rule to pull out the middle portion of a date string from a data source. The file has the date as "1-Jan-23" and I want to pull out the Jan.  On the data source, I have the time dimension assigned to the proper column in the file.  The month is always 3 characters, and the year is always 2 characters.  I am getting an error that I am unable to execute the BR. OneStream V7.0.1We have a Data Source that takes data file that has 12 data columns Oct ... I am trying to figure out the best way to embed my monthly OneStream reports into PowerPoint presentations.Do I need install the add-in and have tasks created in task manager? or can this be done through the creation of an extensible documents?Thank you for any help or suggestions,Ricky
