Hi community, For one of our clients we are looking for the following. - We create 52 weekly scenario with each their own start and end period setting in the workflow start time and workflow end time. For example we have the scenario CFF_2022W01 which has a workflow start time as 2022W1 and a workflow end time as 2022 W39. For example the scenario CFF_2022W02 which has a workflow start time as 2022W2 and a workflow end time as 2022 W39 etc.  How can we get a list of members of the range within the start and end time in the scenario. So for example based on the CFF_2022W01 scenario it should return in the list 2022W1, 2022W2 up until 2022W39. For CFF_2022W02 it should return in a list 2022W2, 2022W3 up until 2022W39.There is also the example when the periods run across years. So for example the scenario CFF_2022W27 has a workflow start time of 2022W27 and end time of 2023W13. The list should then return 2022W27, 2022W28 up until 2022W52 plus also 2023W1 up

If a user is part of a security group with the below "Data Cell Access Security" filters, does that mean they would only have access to "Ent_3200"?  For some reason this user is still able to see all base entities however they are still restricted from TOP? Why would the "E#TOP" filter be correctly restricted, but E#top.base not be restricted?

Hi, I am trying to call Table view service from a spreadsheet. I tried to use the syntax defined in the reference manual. The above syntax is not working. The above syntax works with the Spreadsheet Business Rule Assembly. Anyone tried Table view service type? If so, what is the syntax to call the table view service from a Spreadsheet?  

We have noticed that BI Blend drop tons of lines during the import and does not log any error. We took few not loaded entries and try to load to table again but getting below error.  Just few lines of data. Tried to play around with Agg properties but could not find any solution. Summary: BI-Blend base data does NOT match any Aggregation Base Members.

Hi, want to copy quarterly input data through business rule. the destination scenario is defined as monthly input. in the destination code , i want to specify months which system doesn't allow. we need pass in DM Job. As i have several quarters to copy , can anybody share some thoughts how we can achieve this. Thanks, Swadhin.

Is it possible to format (ie bold/background color/text size/etc) the column headers of a BI Viewer Grid that uses a SQL data adapter? I know how to conditionally format the values, but haven't found a way to format the actual header line....

I am building a report that uses a nested parameter.  This report will run on a dashboard within Guided Reporting if it makes any difference. My parameters are Member List types. EntityParam1 uses a member filter of E#Corporate.ChildrenInclusive. This is controlled by a combo box on the dashboard. Let's pretend the user selects E#Legal as the value for the combo box, one of the children of E#Corporate.EntityParam2 has a member filter of |!EntityParam1!|.ChildrenInclusive.ChildrenThe member filter I want it to return is E#Legal.ChildrenInclusive.ChildrenWhen I run this nested parameter, it runs E#Corporate.ChildrenInclusive.ChildrenInclusive.Children, which throws an error at some point.  How can I use EntityParam1 to only return the E#Legal member for my nested filter?I would think the answer lies within a literal parameter but haven't found a method that automatically uses the selected value of my first parameter. We have a workflow structure such that each entity has it's own workflow, with a number of steps for Import, Forms and Journals.   We had an issue recently where one entity (e.g. E123) accidentally posted a journal to the wrong entity (e.g. E321). I can't see any way in the workflow settings to prevent this.  I know in the Import workflow steps there is the option 'Can Load Unrelated Entities', but I can't see anything similar on the Adjustment workflow step.

Hello,I am working on a navigation dashboard that includes a button to navigate to a specific workflow. The button works perfectly with the navigation action below. However, it seems that when XFPage is set to Workflow, we cannot keep the dashboard open in another XFPage.Do you know if there is a syntax similar to OpenInNewXFPage=True that allows us to navigate to the workflow while also keeping the navigation dashboard open?Thanks in advance,BeatlesForever

Hi, is it possible to hide 2 columns in a Cube View? I need them for calculation only, but hide from the report. If I set format IsColumnVisible to False or CVMathOnly for one column, it works. If I set it to two columns, I get no data on third data at all, while it should show data.

Getting this error while loading data from BI Blend table to the stage data in the workflow. We have five workflow and trying to union to load the data to the stage & eventually to the cube. However when we load from one table it fail & give column mapping error but clear data and reload next one then it goes through.    

Has anyone had success with the change parameters (Variables)?  I have several reports that all have a simple substitution variable |CVTimeDesc|.  When running the book, I would like to change that Variable to predefined text, however, this doesn't seem to be working.  

Hi - we're trying to PULL files from an SFTP server. These will be used for our OneStream load. Are there any sample BRs that we can reference to facilitate the file transfer from the SFTP server to OneStream? Are there libraries readily available in OS for this?   So far, we have completed the following. 1. Whitelisting of OS IP from SFTP Server 2. Received SFTP server and credentials needed   Thanks!

Looking for some code on grabbing all entities with a text1 field of "ABC" and then run logic on them.  I didnt see anything in the Golfstream app to use.  

Hi,So I am using one Parameter in Cube View Formatting where I am facing some issue.So there are 11 Forecast Scenario in my application.Fy25Fcst1, Fy25Fcst2 through Fy25Fcst11.My formatting rule is set in this way- If ([|!Scenario_WaterFall_MemberList!|] Contains Fcst2) Then ***Condition***End IfThis is working perfectly for scenario 2 through 11 but even if I select 10, this shows the result of 1 as well.To negate this I tried to replace the condition with  If ([|!Scenario_WaterFall_MemberList!|] EndsWith Fcst2) Then But this is not working. Hi Folks,Can anyone give me an example of moving an entity from one parent to another using ReadRelationshipNoCache? Or even the version using GetRelationshipInfo?CopyOrMoveRelationships doesn't have a 'no cache' option, so looking to do it at a lower level by reading and updating the member's relationships (i.e. dropping one and adding another) -Jon

Hi everyone,We’ve been using the SaveDataEventHandler to prevent users from submitting zero values for a specific scenario and flow. While the error message works perfectly in the Cube Views, we’ve encountered an issue when users try to submit a zero from Excel—no error message is displayed. From what I’ve read, error messages don’t work in Excel.As a workaround, we’re considering a different approach: instead of throwing an error when a zero is submitted, we would save the zero as NotStored (dataCellStorageType.NotStored) and NoData (dataCellExistenceType.NoData). However, despite our efforts, we can’t get SaveData to function as expected. I have a book report with multiple Cube views ,Excel ,Word and and PDFs. If all together the book has 100 pages, Is it possible to show the Page numbers 1 of 100, 2 of 100 in sequence?I have tried the Cube View Extender BR discussed in this forum previously and that does display Page numbers only within the Cube view where the rule is attached to and in the format of Page 1 0f 1 ,Page 2 of 2.Page Numbering Format for Books | OneStream CommunityAppreciate any help or guidance.  

I've got a Tree View component which is populated via code in an Assembly.It currently displays all the members for a selected dimension but will can only show those members that a user has access to.The tool that is a part of is indented for cross group use so it would be useful for users to see all the members available, not just the ones that they have access to. It's purely a visual aid, not for data viewing.Can anyone advise if this is possible and what I'd have to do to enable it?Thank you in advance :-)Craig
