I have a Dashboard with 2 Cube views that have the same columns and when they are on set to a grid on  a dashboard, you have to scroll on them separately to go see data on the right. When I put them in a vertical stack panel, they have one scroll bar but when you scroll to right you lose the row names. When trying to put them in one Cube View, if you scroll down you lose the top part which is basically the totals summary. Is there any way to freeze pane data explorer in  a cube view or freeze pane on a vertical stack panel so when you scroll right the row names stay on the page?

We want to make some forecast periods read only ( Data seeded periods from Actuals) in a Data submission cube view by referencing the period count submitted in another Cube View. I currently have a UD8 that pulls the current timestamp anytime a user updates an intersection and it works just fine. The issue I am having is that when I run a calculation to push an amount to an intersection, there is no audit trail for that. Is there a table where this calculated audit information is stored? I haven't been able to find anything and I would think that OneStream should be able to track the audit trail of calculated members.

How to sort members from smallest to largest and vice versa based on amount using business rules??

can cube view display with dash (-) instead of empty for No data cells in Excel

Hey,So I have built a flow to push data from one scenario to another by pressing a dashboard button which start a data management job that execute a extender business rule.The extender business rule is executing import, validate and load with the file created through the referenced data management export data step/sequence. The export data step is using a literal parameter in UD1 that is being set before pushing the dashboard button.Above UD1 selection makes it possible to only push/seed data to the other scenario for just a portion of the total data. Over time there will be up to 10 button executions to push all data in UD1 to target scenario.  Everything works fine for me except replacing data in destination scenario/workflow. Currently I use .append in order to load all 10 UD1 areas to one import step in destination workflow/scenario. If the user in this case whould press the button for the same UD1 selection a second time, I would have the data twice. What I wou

Hi,I would like to explore the way to update OpenApplication security role via Business Rule. Any help/suggestion would be appreciated. 

I have a grid view with a list of items on my home page and I would like the user to be able to select an item. This will then open a new page. Everything on that new page will be related to that selection made (tables, labels, etc.). I could then go back to my home page, leave the first selected page open, and then open another page for a different item.Any suggestions on how to get this to work?Tried solutions:- Fix the session state of the newly open page with the parameter value --> Once you do a full refresh of the page then the parameter will update to the latest selection made- Supplied parameters --> This is a good solution for a dialog screen, but when you open the dashboard as a new page the connection seems to drop here and it actually pops-up a dialog box again to make a selection on the new page. 

We recently upgraded to version 7.3.3 and did a push for the Excel Addin upgrade.  Does anyone know if there is a report to show which users have installed the upgrade (outside of our IT Department).

Hi, is it possible to give someone access to the FileShare folder in OnePlace, without giving access to the System tab (from where, using File Explorer, it is possible to browse to the FileShare folder)?Thank you

Hi,I am in a custom business rule. I have a calculate formula like the following one, which works fine:api.Data.Calculate("A#Sales1 = A#Sales2 + 50”) Now let say I want to declare a variable instead of having the 50 typed in the formula string, and pass that to the Calculate, what is the correct syntax to do that? Hi,The request is that when showing base level members, every other row should have a dashed underline. However, there are two issues why we can't achieve this via the formatting editor:1. The bottom line won't render when it has the condition (is rowNumberEven).2. Don't have the option to select a dashed under line (how you can for the excel formatting settings) Can we achieve this through Cube View Extender Rules?? Thank You.

Is there any way to stipulate the Cube whilst building a Quick View without selecting that Cube on the user's default POV? I've tried typing Cb#CubeName in the cell in Excel but when I create the Quick View it ignores this and uses the default POV Cube. In the example I have tried to create QuickView for RETLWRK cube but POV default of MAINREP has been used to I need to change the Quick View cube in the Context Pane after creating the Quick View.

Can a Connection String for an external database server connection be modified directly in the OneStream UI to an existing OS Cloud implementation  -- without creating a Support Request to have it changed?  Likewise, can a new External Database Server connection string be created through the OneStream UI in an existing OS Cloud implementation?  Or does that also require a ticket?  I seem to remember that this ability to edit Cloud settings was added recently -- through a Solution? Or am I thinking of SIC?
