Hi, we have 40-50 workflow nodes which makes the workflow assignment a large burden to complete.  We are using workflow templates to manage these nodes.  Is there a way to assign the workflow to the template vs each individual node in the workflow?

I'm getting this content back from the REST calls to a data adapter: null   Here are some headers:StatusCode: OK, Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8, Content-Length: 4   There is no failure, just a "null" content where JSON should be. There is nothing in the onestream error log. It seems to happen a large percentage of the time (20% or so).  What should I do to investigate?  Is it ever the expected behavior that the API will return HTTP-OK with the word "null"? Using version 6.5.0.12623.

The reason is that the retrieved value is by default retrieved in the #,###.000 format, which the People Planning module doesn't like. Does anyone have any sample code they can share to see how to trap errors during an automated dataload process?  Currently, all I can see is that the dataload process executed and completed but it does not tell you if something happened in between.  I'm having no luck capturing if an error was encountered during the import or validate steps.

Does anyone know how to extract data using Data Management pulling C#Elimination and a dynamic entity filter such as E#TOTALCO.Descendants?  A parent entity is required but I have been unsuccessful at different options for the parent filter such as E#Default, E#TOTALCO.Descendants, E#|PovParent|.  

We have data imported periodically to a Scenario with the following setup - Retain next to True and everything set to Periodic inclusive of the data source and TR as shown below.  The account is an Expense type.  In the example - M4 is the only period with a value for this specific intersection, which we see in the Import data screenshot. The Cube View screenshot shows the periodic and YTD views wherein it appears that the periodic M5 value is reversed even though is no data loaded for that period.  Based upon my settings and the data presented here I did not expect to see the M5 reversal amount.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to why the value is reversing in the next period and how to resolve this so that this doesn't happen?        

Hi All - I'm trying to understand why this would occur. I had loaded some prior year data, but somehow one of the month is showing negative numbers. I tried to consolidate but it wouldn't change. Wondering what I need to do to fix this?  

How can I import data for multiple time period all in one go? I was told that its possible. But wondering what settings do I need to change in order to do that.I tried using "Replace All Time" but the Time is set to "Current".  I'm uploading a excel base file. Any guidance on this will be appreciated.  

Hi OneStream Gurus, I have a workflow profile with multiple rows (assigned entities, parent node....). One calculation definition executes a data management sequence. I am using the WF text to pass the entities to the DM sequence and this works fine.. But I was wondering if there is a way to pass the entity from the calculation definition row to the DM calculate sequence or the data quality event handler business rule. As expected if I use the E#Root.WFCalculationEntities in the DM calculate it runs for all entities defined in all rows. Thanks Maja

When creating a Copy Data (Data Management) job, I find that I have to have the import nodes of the Workflows set to True (Active) in order to have the Data Management job work, otherwise I get an error. We are trying to set up a fixed matrix data source that has account values in multiple columns (mix of numeric and text).  Is it possible to convert the text value for an account to a numeric value in the data source set up?  e.g. Account text value is regular and we would like to convert it to a numeric value of 1.

Hello Everyone, Please help with your expertise on below one issue I am facing, Thanks in Advance !We are trying to use Workflow channel for independent locking for forms, however not activated for any Dimensions.Summary of current status/setup is as below:1) Each entity is assigned to it's own independent workflow profile2) In each workflow profile we have  3 forms - 2 for entities and 1 for Corporate3) Created 3 channels - 2 for Entity forms ('Flow_Load' and 'IC_load' and they need to be able to lock independently) and 1 for Corp forms4) Moved all accounts to 'NoDataLock'5) Now Entity users have access to 'view and write' only on the 2 forms with local channels6) I was expecting that when Local forms are completed and locked - Entity users should not be able to load any data via Forms - "HOWEVER they can still do this via Excel Grid and / or Setvalue" ((((  Question is - Is there a way that as soon as they lock all the channels available to them Forms is 100% lock

Hello,I am wondering if you can provide any issues or conflicts that may arise by changing the "Input View For Adjustments" from "Periodic" to "YTD" on a Scenario? How does this impact historical data? What happens to Periodic journals booked in a previous month, do they automatically convert to YTD, or do they stay Periodic? Hello: I've integrated a set of transaction details from a GL into a bi-blend cube within OneStream. I'd like to aggregate along the UD1 dimension so we can see the data at the parent level for each transaction. The dimension consists of a set of parents with a few base members rolling up to each one, it's a pretty simple dimension. I'd like to be able to see the parents in a column with the base members in the other column. Note: that the base member is being passed directly form the data source, i.e. It's a pass thru mapping. An example of a parent child relationship is below: Parent: Clubs Base:1000 Base:2000 In the ud1 value column, I'd like to only see "clubs" while in another column I would like to see "1000" and "2000" values in another. I know that in the ud1 when I aggregate this dimension, I'll see the base member and the parent members in the same column for UD1 even if it's the blend unit dim. I have created a DM sequence that calls multiple steps.  One of the DM steps prompts the user to select a seed Scenario which I then pass to my Finance BR as a parameter value.  The scenario options are presented to the user as a Member Dialogue Parameter object.  This works perfectly when I run it directly through Data Management.Next, I create a Dashboard for all of this using Data Entry 123 for display.  The user sees a button component that is configured as 'Execute Data Management Sequence' and I give it a Task Argument of {Phasing_BUD_Seq}{} which is my DM Seq.When I test this from my Workflow (uses DE123), it does not prompt the user to enter the Source Scenario from my Parameter, it just fires the DM Sequence.  It seems like my member dialogue parameter is somehow being supressed or skipped.Does anyone know what I am missing here? Thanks
