I have a Dashboard with 2 Cube views that have the same columns and when they are on set to a grid on  a dashboard, you have to scroll on them separately to go see data on the right. When I put them in a vertical stack panel, they have one scroll bar but when you scroll to right you lose the row names. When trying to put them in one Cube View, if you scroll down you lose the top part which is basically the totals summary. Is there any way to freeze pane data explorer in  a cube view or freeze pane on a vertical stack panel so when you scroll right the row names stay on the page?

We recently upgraded to version 7.3.3 and did a push for the Excel Addin upgrade.  Does anyone know if there is a report to show which users have installed the upgrade (outside of our IT Department).

Hi,The request is that when showing base level members, every other row should have a dashed underline. However, there are two issues why we can't achieve this via the formatting editor:1. The bottom line won't render when it has the condition (is rowNumberEven).2. Don't have the option to select a dashed under line (how you can for the excel formatting settings) Can we achieve this through Cube View Extender Rules?? Thank You.

Hi everyone,I have created a waterfall as below using the advanced chart component. Is there a way to change the font size/color for the data labels within the waterfall bars? I cannot seem to find this option. The request is to make the text more readible.Any help is highly appreciated!BR,Floris 

Is there any way to stipulate the Cube whilst building a Quick View without selecting that Cube on the user's default POV? I've tried typing Cb#CubeName in the cell in Excel but when I create the Quick View it ignores this and uses the default POV Cube. In the example I have tried to create QuickView for RETLWRK cube but POV default of MAINREP has been used to I need to change the Quick View cube in the Context Pane after creating the Quick View.

I am using the BI Viewer to display bars for actual data and a line for the budget/target.My issue is when I split the values into two groups the items in my legend are doubling. So I see each one once for the budget line (even though all intersections are 0 but one) and once for actuals. I have tried using the filter through the graph as well as creating a calculated field to filter what I want out before I get to the graph but still the legend is doubling. Does anyone know how I can remove unwanted items from the legend? The graph is showing exactly how I want it to it is just the legend that is the problem.Thanks! 

I am creating a cube view to use for a form template. The first column brings in data from a set of account members using A#xxxx.Base as the member filter for the row. On the second column I want to allow input from the user. So, on that same row I am trying to use column overrides to achieve that but having issues:Using A#yyyy.Base as the member filter for the column override doesn't actually allow the cell to be editable. Using the base members in a list for the member filter allows input on each cell, but automatically fills in the rest of the column cells with the same number and upon checking a QV only sends data to the first member in the list. Can modify data is set to "True" for both the column and the row.My question is - do I need to break this out and create a line for each member with the corresponding column override member or is there another way to do this?  

Hey,We have a Pivot in the BI viewer with 3 rows say Row 1,Row 2,Row 3 and we want the sum of Row 1 and Row 2 as Grand total. Today when we try to do this, we get the sum off all 3 Rows.Is it possible to archive this in BI Viewer? 

Hello,We are having this below requirement, where we trying to achieve this using Cube View extender rules.Rule should vary margin depending if it's landscape or portrait.If Landscape, thenRight and Left should be 0.25, Top should be 0.75, and Bottom 0.5Else If Portrait, then Left should be 0.75, Right should be 0.25 with Top and Bottom 0.5  Any help or suggestion will be of great help!Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to move the company logo to the right header side of reports? I have applied a business rule to move the report title on the left but now it is hidden behind the company logo.  TYIA!

Dear community, I'm using a getdatacell formula to sum few range of rows. The formula is correct and I'm getting the correct/desired output in the data explorer. But, when I try rendering it in the report and excel. It throws an error with "#ERROR'rowname'". I'm not sure what causing this issue. Is it because of the column override I'm using or some settings are driving the issue. It throws error Any solution to this would be appreciated. Please find the attached 2 images of data explorer and report output. The values in the data explorer are displaying. And the in the report it's throwing #ERROR: Rowname. 

Hi Community, Our financial auditors are asking for reports on onestream that they can use to sign of on our trial balance imported into onestream. so that would include movement reports etc. is there a standard set of reports that can be downloaded from Marketplace for this. I see there is something called standard application reports. We are on a cloud version

Does anyone know if/when OneStream plans on addressing the incompatibility issues between Power Query and quick views/cube view reports? I've got a number of reports that utilize the get/transform functionality in excel but saving an offline version of any reports that contain an @getcell() formulae will wipe out any queries, connections, tables or table-named ranges. Is there a way to avoid this happening via the settings in the excel add-in?

Please let me know what controls/dictates what entity parameters are being asked when running a dashboard.  I'm looking to cleanup some of the dashboards we currently have built.  Currently in our production environment we have a dashboard that is asking for the entity to be selected twice before running the dashboard, but in development it's only asking once.  I'd like the production environment version to run like the development one.  I've tried comparing the differences between both environments but having no luck.  The cube views we're referencing are the same parameters as well.  For Entity Members the |!WFEntitiesAnyLevel!| is being used for all.  

Does anyone have a good solution when viewing dashboards that require scrolling? We have a P&L view set up as a dashboard, which is fed from a cube view, but are hearing a lot of noise around the scrolling and loading of additional data. When a users scrolls down on their report they get the loading circle and need to wait a moment for the rest of the data to load to continue scrolling and get the same thing. Once they reach the bottom they can scroll back up and down without issue. I understand why OS is set up this way, but if anyone has any feedback or input on the different ways they improved their performance on that I would appreciate it! TYIA

Hi all: Looking for advice on how to implement multiple parameters in a report book.  The standard loop functionality does not meet current needs.  Our reporting requires a user to specify 3 UD's to report out their area of responsibility.  Each user will have multiple sets of 3 UD's to generate all of their reports.  In theory, they need to 'loop over' this set of parameters generating reports for each set.  However, the standard loop functionality is only 1 parameter and nested loops will generate unnecessary combinations as it would be the cartesian product of all parameters. Example:   Anyone have suggestions on how to implement this?  Is there a way to call a BR from the report book to substitute multiple variables at a time? I envision the ideal state as: User populates a simple CSV file with their report sets consisting of a name, UD2, UD3, UD4, and owner User opens the report book User selects their report set CSV file The report book loops

Is there a list of keyboard shortcuts available for OneStream using Excel.  Having a hard time trying to find any documentation on shortcut keys that work for OneStream excel addin.

I have SQL Table Editor with about 70 columns. I have the bound column tied to a parameter. But I need to access the value of another column of the selected row based on a button click. I want to process that row in the BR function. PLease help.
