Hi all, Could you please advise what formula is better to use in cube views member filter, when I need to add column with calculated differences between U1 base member at time POV and the same UD1 base member at time PovPriorYear?  

I would like to return a sum of all rows in my cube view but using the 'sum of rows' is only returning the first result for every account under the main hierarchies I'm calling. This is the literal statement I would like to sum -GetDataCell(A#BALANCE_SHEET.Base.Remove(A#32000).Where(AccountType DoesNotContain 'Liability') - A#BALANCE_SHEET.Base.Remove(A#32000).Where(AccountType = 'Liability') - A#32000:F#BegBal - A#INCOME_STATEMENT.Base.Where(AccountType = 'Revenue') + A#INCOME_STATEMENT.Base.Where(AccountType DoesNotContain 'Revenue'))Has anyone done something similar through an XFBR string? 

I am trying to create a label which needs to display the gross profit in my dashboard. I have created a data adapter (when running the adapter, it's showing the relevant data) and attached the same in the label. But I am not getting any data in label. Can someone help/suggest what I am missing? 

I have a home page that has a button that takes you to guided reporting. I want it to use guided reporting where the user left off - how it works when you are normally in guided reporting alone. When I click the button it keeps setting Guided Reporting back to having the choose the report group. Is there a step I'm missing when linking guided reporting to a home page?  

I am trying to build a cubeview wherein if i select actual scenario the comparative scenario come Budget Forecast and PY whereas if i select my comparison scenario is PY Fcst or PY. Is there a way with any business rule if i can do?  

My team has a requirement for a CV report to show the last 4 trailing quarters and all 3 months of the current quarter.  I was able to achieve this, however when the time period is the first or second month of the quarter, I would like to show only those completed months.  For example, if the period is July I would want my months columns to be June & July.  Currently I am using T#Quarter(|POVTime|).MonthsInQuarter which is showing Jun-Jul-Aug.  Is there any function that is able to do this?  Thanks!

Dear all, Could you please advise if in OneStream there is a tool, which we can use to automate preparation of consolidated financial statements in Word format based on OneStream and outside of OneStream data (combination of OneStream numbers from cube views and texts that can be manually corrected)?  

Is it possible to format (ie bold/background color/text size/etc) the column headers of a BI Viewer Grid that uses a SQL data adapter? I know how to conditionally format the values, but haven't found a way to format the actual header line....    

I am building a report that uses a nested parameter.  This report will run on a dashboard within Guided Reporting if it makes any difference. My parameters are Member List types. EntityParam1 uses a member filter of E#Corporate.ChildrenInclusive. This is controlled by a combo box on the dashboard. Let's pretend the user selects E#Legal as the value for the combo box, one of the children of E#Corporate.EntityParam2 has a member filter of |!EntityParam1!|.ChildrenInclusive.ChildrenThe member filter I want it to return is E#Legal.ChildrenInclusive.ChildrenWhen I run this nested parameter, it runs E#Corporate.ChildrenInclusive.ChildrenInclusive.Children, which throws an error at some point.  How can I use EntityParam1 to only return the E#Legal member for my nested filter?I would think the answer lies within a literal parameter but haven't found a method that automatically uses the selected value of my first parameter. Hello,I am working on a navigation dashboard that includes a button to navigate to a specific workflow. The button works perfectly with the navigation action below. However, it seems that when XFPage is set to Workflow, we cannot keep the dashboard open in another XFPage.Do you know if there is a syntax similar to OpenInNewXFPage=True that allows us to navigate to the workflow while also keeping the navigation dashboard open?Thanks in advance,BeatlesForever

Hi, is it possible to hide 2 columns in a Cube View? I need them for calculation only, but hide from the report. If I set format IsColumnVisible to False or CVMathOnly for one column, it works. If I set it to two columns, I get no data on third data at all, while it should show data.

Hi, I am encountering a few issues with dashboard creation. My goal is to display all the reporting dashboards on a single dashboard. Below is a screenshot of my current setup. I have one combo box named "Report Type," which contains a delimited parameter with options like Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Trial Balance. Additionally, there is a list box that contains a list of report names. I’ve connected a business rule to the list box parameter to dynamically populate the report names based on the selection from the "Report Type" combo box. I also created an embedded dashboard with the main cube view. Could someone please assist me with the cube view part? Specifically, when I select a report from the "Report Name" list box, its cube view should display on the right side. Could you help me understand the changes I need to make in "Consolidated Report_Sub_CV" to pull the corresponding report cube views based on the selection in the report name list box?  

Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to have a check figure if the amount equals 0 that it displays "OK" and if it doesn't it says "Check Details". I've tried conditional formatting when the cell amount = 0 then "OK", but I figured I'm missing something or this might just not be possible. Thanks, Will

Has anyone had success with the change parameters (Variables)?  I have several reports that all have a simple substitution variable |CVTimeDesc|.  When running the book, I would like to change that Variable to predefined text, however, this doesn't seem to be working.  

Has anyone been able to build a waterfall chart in BIViewer? I feel like this is something that I should be able to be done, but I can't find anything on it. Anyone know if this can be done? I know there is an advanced chart for waterfalls.  Thanks

Hi All,  I create a spreadsheet business rule to refresh the data from external table using Table Views, now our users wants to drop these files into OneStream file share on daily basis so external systems can consume.  Is it possible to use parcel service to refresh these files (using table views with in the spreadsheet) and drop them into file share every time the job trigger ?  Or Is there any alternate approaches to export data from custom table to excel files ? Thank you. 

Is there a way to hardcode a number into a cubeview?

I have a book report with multiple Cube views ,Excel ,Word and and PDFs. If all together the book has 100 pages, Is it possible to show the Page numbers 1 of 100, 2 of 100 in sequence?I have tried the Cube View Extender BR discussed in this forum previously and that does display Page numbers only within the Cube view where the rule is attached to and in the format of Page 1 0f 1 ,Page 2 of 2.Page Numbering Format for Books | OneStream CommunityAppreciate any help or guidance.  

Hi all,I'm 100% certain that I read somewhere that Version 8 would include a new XF function for Excel add-in that would allow us to drilldown on a cell whose data is retrieved via an XF function.However, now that we are upgrading to Version 8, I cannot find any information about that at all.  Even a search in the OneStream documentation does not show any XF function that allows this. If anyone has a link or more details about this expanded functionality, would you be kind enough to share that here?   Thanks in advance

I have a Cube View report in Guided Reporting where the user needs to be able to select from anywhere inside of the following three hierarchies. The hierarchies contain extensibility. I am running into an issue where the hierarchies are not appearing correctly, and member are missing in the 'List Selector' on Guided Reporting.I created my parameter to pull the tree views of all three entity hierarchies.I have confirmed that the Cube View parameter selection shows up as expected.When I try to select Entity in Guided Reporting, I see the following:The only items that are showing under the tree views are the members that do not have any extensibility. Output is showing its children, but it is not collapsable to the parent. If I switch the order over the tree views in the parameter, whichever is the last one listed has its members listed out like Output does in the screenshot. I have tried multiple different ways to write the parameter out and have been unsuccessful.Has anyone else ex

Recently, our client requested that the reports display descriptions associated with specific combinations of dimensions. These descriptions correspond to the unique combination of all dimensions and are provided in the data import file.How can we achieve this? Would creating a new dimension be a viable solution?What alternative approaches could we consider? Since the model is already built and this requirement was not initially specified, we're exploring the best way to address it. 

Has anyone been able to successfully obtain a parent name for a member, within a UD8 formula without needing to leverage a text field on the member (using Parent Sort Order for example)? As an example, I have a base level entity member of B1229 (this is Branch). I would like to return D1229 - Chicago based on its' parent sort order of 2 (this is District). Appreciate any insight!

Hi , I was wondering if i can have dynamic POV in a cubeview without BR. Is there possibility of condition in POV for example I can put a param scenario and say whenever Budget UD1= Model and if Actual it should be 1000.
