We have Workflow A, and Workflow B.   We get an error when the loadCube step in workflow B, when Workflow A is in Validation step.  The error we get is "Cannot execute step because the prior workflow step is not completed. . (WP#WorkflowA.Import:S#Actual:T#2022M1)"   The name the actual workflow has been changed to protect the innocent. Our question is:  what is causing this issue and how do we fix it?  It's not clear in the documentation what exactly triggers this error message.  The parameters passed back imply that one cannot load to the same scenario and time if another workflow to that scenario and time is still open.   WorkflowA and WorkflowB are loading to the same scenario and time, but to different accounts. 

Hi everyone,  I have a Budget Workflow profile with two import steps. Both steps are set up on different data source and different transformation rules. When Importing and Validating data, it works fine. However, when I get to the Load step, if I load one step, it works. But as soon as I try to load the other step, I get the error message: Error processing data. The Entity dimension member '' is invalid. I have checked the data and transformation rule and everything is fine. The issue is not with one particular step because I tried loading the second step first and vice-versa and the error message also shows. Any idea what it could be? Thank you!

Is there an easy way to bulk delete members in OneStream?

I am trying to move a Narrative Report book from one environment to another and am struggling to do so without having to re-build it. Is there anyone on this Community that has managed to do so successfully? Would truly appreciate the steps you followed to get this done successfully.

All, Does anyone out there have users with massive (thousands of rows and dozens of columns) XFGetCell() workbooks that are seeing issues with the "Save Offline Copy" feature?  (and yes, I know.. they should not be creating these massive workbooks in the first place - that's not what XF() is meant to do) Here are the symptoms we're having: Regardless of what the seconds setting is (and I'm not even sure this setting applies to anything other than CV connections or quick views) and for some of these users, it's set to the max allowable, the 'save offline copy' often just spins and spins and never completes or eventually the user just has to 'kill' Excel and try again.  Happens at different times so no idea what server activity might be going on at the same time. Save Offline Copy appears to finish but the saved file now contains "#REFRESH" rather than the values  Unable to keep Formatting (this has to be set to False) - loses things like superscript or subscript fonts.I

The Question Text Column scroll bar in my Certification Questionnaire is not working. I have a long question text which does not fit the default cell size. The scroll bar is not clickable/draggable, so my reviewers aren't able to view the entire question during certification. The workaround I have is just to expand the column size so that the text fits into the cell. I am wondering if anyone has the same user experience or has a solution to get it to work? My current software version is 7.1.3.

Have a question regarding Cube view formatting. The client has a column for comments where large commentaries are written point wise which currently are seen as one line. They want to view the same like excel where comments are seen point wise one below another. How can the same be done. Also while exporting the report in excel the wrap text option in the Column cell format under excel only wraps the entire cell but it does not show the comment point wise one below another

Hi, I am trying to use the Business Rule API "SaveFileBytesToUserTempFolder" in order to open a file stored as a byte in a datatable. This is exactly like in the "Reporting Compliance" dashboard, where the file is stored as bytes in a datatable. I am actually using the exact same business rule !   However, there is an issue in my case. My business rule that is used to view the document works fine until the very last step... this is the one causing the error ( I have tested FileName and FileBytes fields and these exist) : BRApi.Utilities.SaveFileBytesToUserTempFolder(si, si.UserName, dt(0)("FileName"), dt(0)("FileBytes")) Error message : An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to http://localhost:50002/OneStreamApp/SVC/XFFileSystem.svc. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details.Th

We are looking to wrap text both at the header and also within an annotated cell in a cube view.  WE can't find a way to wrap text but this would be nice where our uses push explanations to OS through a  cube view. 

Hi, is there a way to set up a cube view filter based on column data? For example, while reviewing the data, user would like to filter by employees that started before 2020 or filter by employees that were terminated in 2021.   

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had any success using Trailing3MonthAvg View member within a data buffer when the trailing 3 months cross over years. When I run this for a period like June everything works great, but when I run this in Jan or Feb I get the object reference not set to an instance of an object error. When switching the View member to YTD everything works fine. Below is an example of the code. I'm new to WS assembly - trying to get a simple example of setting up an xfbr and use it in a cubeview but not successful. Here's what I did - what did I do wrong?1. Set up XFBR String Service:2. Then set up factory: 3. Then added to my maintenance units & workspace4. Added to cv:=> I get this error. Not sure why it is looking for the service factory in default.   I followed the design guide, tried all the following syntax, none have worked:XFBR(Workspace.Reporting.myAssembly.Time, SayHello)XFBR(Workspace.Current.myAssembly.Time, SayHello) Thank you.

Hello,We are trying to use row and column templates in a Cube View but are using parameters to populate the names of those row and column template cube views.  We get the below error and are curious what else could be issue as we have checked values of parameters and they are pulling in values expected (names of templates).Thanks!

I'm trying to export data via a Data Management step.I am running into frequent errors stating: Error processing Data Management Step '[DM STEP NAME]'. Unable to create or open file '[FILE PATH]'. The process cannot access the file '[FILE PATH]' because it is being used by another process. My servers were unoccupied as no tasks were running in the background in the task activity log. I've also tried via DM sequence and selecting my own server which did not help.  

I have a dashboard that uses a Tree View.  Its in a named workspace.  The only way I can get images to work with it is to upload the images to a Default Workspace.  Is there a way to reference my images in the workspace where the Tree View is?  

Hi There, I am trying to create a book with a loop on our UD4 (project). I have it working but I want to add an IF statement to filter out tabs that contain no data. Referencing a previous post, I tried adding an IF statement to filter out an account (A#TotSGA in our case). This is the statement I am using, but it doesn't seem to work. Hello All, I have a cube view in which i am using on the Row Level a GetDataCell Function, example GetDataCell(Account1+ Account2): Name (Trade). on the column level i have a Comment using the V#Annotation:Name(Comments). however, on the GetDataCell the Comment is highlighted in Green. is there a way to be able to allow the user to write a comment on row that contains a GetDataCell function? 

Hello, I am new to Onestream and trying to solve something that seemed easy but it doesn't work:( We need to map an account by the entity and by the time. I used composite mapping. to be exact; A#[651200]:E#[8*]:T#2019M12} has to be mapped to account A A#[651200]:E#[8*]:T#[2019M3] has to be mapped to the account B -  also all other instnaces of #651200 for all other entities are mapped to the acount B. I have only composite mapping for this account. It doesn't work. It totally ignores the time dimension.  Any tips? thank you, Ola      

Hi Folks,I need to retrieve all cube root workflow profiles in the first parameter. Upon selecting a particular cube root workflow profile, all its related workflow profiles should appear in the second drop-down list of the combo box. Likewise, there is a third combo box for the current workflow year and time. What can be the Dashboard Data Set for this?Thanks
