I have a dashboard with buttons that export excel workbooks. I have one cubeview that uses Column Sets and I am not able to get this one to work with the button. I was hoping either a combo box or pop up parameter would work, but I cannot get the export to recognize the columns. When I manually run the book from file explorer it gives me the column set parameter and works just fine. This leads me to think I'm missing something in the button execution.Thank you!

Hello,  Can the Excel format be set on the cube view so that the header font can be underlined, for example?  New Product Analysis instead of adding a guideline for the entire header cell?

Hi Everyone. I have a question about how I can assign the entity that appears in my Calculation Definitions to my assigned Data Management Step. Currently, I have it set to E#Root.WFProfileEntities, but since I have it in a Profile that does not have entities assigned (because it is a Profile where I want to mark all my WF as complete), it gives me an error when I try to use it from there.  

I have captured journals at a base entity on C#OwnerPreAdj . When I process the cube, the values do not get consolidated. I have to run a Force Consolidate for the result to come through on reports.  I have set my cube settings for Calculate OwnerPreAdj if No data to True.  This is on Onestream Version 8.4.

We are looking to turn some of our existing cube views into report books to loop through entities. Right now we use an XFBR string (referencing Brapi.Workflow.Metadata.GetParent) instead of a parameter to determine the entity. Is it possible to create a report that loops through the entities with the XFBR string or would we have to duplicate the cube views and use a parameter instead? 

I have a Cube View with three Account dimension columns - Net_Rev, Std_Cost, and a CVC calculated division column to calculate Std_Margin (Std_Cost/Net_Rev). Rows are a UD dimension representing the Product.  In my Dashboard, I have a Cube View MD Data Adapter using this Cube View as the data. When I add a BI Viewer Pivot Grid, I want to display the same three columns - Net_Rev, Std_Cost, and the calculated column. I see CalcScript in the Pivot Grid's Data Source dimensions. How do I use it in the Pivot Grid to display the calculation that the Cube View was doing for that third column?I thought I might reference it in the Value filter along with the two Accounts, but it doesn't appear as a column in the Pivot Grid. 

I am trying to get a dashboard to have a particular scrolling behavior that I am not sure how to do if it is even possible.  A simple example of the ideal is below.  In this ideal dashboard the dashboard will scroll horizontally only.  The inner dashboard will individually scroll vertically.  I can not seem to get the outer dashboard to only scroll horizontally, and when it does that outer horizontal scroll turns off it appears the inner vertical scrolls.  I think I am asking for too much but was hoping to get some confirmation.  Thanks.  

Hello everyone, I am experiencing an issue with a dynamic calculation rule in OneStream for a user-defined dimension (UD1) grouping entities. The rule works correctly for all Consolidation dimensions except for "Translated," where the data is not calculated or displayed at the UD1 level, even though the base entities have values for that member. Hi Everyone,We recently received a request from the client to set up a default value in the combo box for the cube view. The cells are set with type Annotations and has a dropdown of options to be selected. The client wants to default the dropdown as PctBudget until and unless it is changed.Is there a configurable setting that can be used to achieve that? Hi, I wanted to check if there are any ways where we can set the members for each dimensions in the quick view by default as per our need so that the user doesnot have to update eachmember everytime while creating new quick view. Currently it is pointing to None for UDs, can we set any specific member to default?

Hi all,  I'm currently facing a challenge and do not seem to be able to get this to work. I have a CV displaying (amongst other things) a Dynamic Calc-Account (in Column) across Entities (in Rows), where entities have various currency. I want to be able to display the currency in the cell (with setting on CV cell format (ShowCurrency = True) I tried in essence the following in the business rule that calculates the value: Dim currencyID As Integer = api.Pov.Cons.MemberId Dim value As Decimal = 120.10 Dim result As DataCell = New DataCell(New DataCellPk(), value, New DataCellStatus(DataCellExistenceType.IsDerivedData, DataCellStorageType.Calculation)) Dim resultEx As New DataCellEx(result, "", currencyID, AccountTypeId.Asset) Return resultEx But that is not working unfortunately. Hi Team, The user is unable to download the OneStream Application in Edge and getting the below error.   The issue is coming from after Windows 11 upgrade, and it was working fine in Windows 10. We have tried with the solutions which all are the options available in below KB articles. Hi,I want to build an input form for project planning where the projects are defined in UD1 dimension, but for the rest of the columns (Start date, End Date, and Contact type) there is no dimension defined. How can i build a input form via cube view if there is no dimension defined in Onestream. But Clinet wants to input the columns data (Start date, End Date and Contact type), in the system via form. 

I’m trying to create a text box component that can be added to a BI Viewer and easily updated by end users directly in OnePlace. The goal is for the users to be able to edit the text without having to modify anything in the underlying application or configuration. Here’s what I’ve attempted so far: Created a string parameter intended to store the text. Tried adding a dashboard parameter control (such as a text box) linked to that parameter. Embedded it into the BI Viewer view. However, this approach didn’t yield the desired result. The text either doesn’t update as expected, or isn’t visible to the user in the way I intended. Has anyone successfully implemented a user-editable text box that can be directly manipulated by end users in OnePlace and reflected in a BI Viewer component? Any guidance, best practices, or examples would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.

What I have is the following: Dim first As Decimal = api.Data.GetDataCell("S#[" & strScenario & "]:" & timesTest(0) & ":E#30801_30800:A#FINVOLUME:F#None:O#BeforeAdj:U1#D0000:U2#P0100:U3#LOCAL_DATA:U4#PJ00000").CellAmount The issue is that I need to use three different times, but I don’t want to create three variables to sum those values, and I also don’t want to do something like the following: 'Example Dim tot as Decimal = api.Data.GetDataCell("#Time1" + "#Time2" + "#Time3") So, I wanted to see if there is a way to put all the times together in one so that the sum is done internally, or if it can only be done as shown above. I hope you can explain the best method to achieve this.

Is it possible to create a Roadmap inside of OneStream? If so, I am looking for some guidance on how that can be accomplished and how difficult it would be to maintain and update the roadmap when needed. 

Hello,Has anyone seen this before where the task scheduler looks as if it will skip a date? Under the grid view, the autoloads highlighted are skipping 10/1/24 even though they are all set to run the first and the second day of every month. Weirdly enough, under the calendar view, they are listed correctly under 10/1 date column and after a few switches back and forth it reset itself back to 10/1 without any other action. Any idea would be appreciated. 

Need assistance building this logic in for two conditional statements to return a value. The logic reads if one row is greater than 0.20 and another row is greater than 0.20, then 0 is the cell value. If not, then 1 is the cell value. Please let me know if I can provide any additional details. 

Has anyone had success taking a date, say 12/2/2024, and the cube name I assume, and converting it to a period like 2024M12?

Hi, We have installed NRR and are able to upload documents. However, adding a cube view using the syntax is not working. Hi,I have designed a dashboard using SQL adapter and have stitched multiple OS tables.Current ask is to integrate this dashboard data and sent it out to an external db.I can create a table in the external db reflecting the same column structure.What is an efficient way to integrate this data from OS dashboard to external db-FYI- I have SIC in place.Thanks for your time
