In the D&R document it is mentioned "Using Extensible Dimensionality to extend Accounts used within the Intercompany Matching process is not a recommended practice".  is there any particular reason for this? or is there any documentation showing this as an example?

I have extracted the security roles and users from prod environment to dev environment. i am changing the security role in dev environment. I have deleted all the assigned roles except open application role but still user have all the access as in Prod environment.  can some help to fix this issue?

Hi, I am trying to run an elimination export where I am trying to pull data for elimination  under a hierarchy. If I am leaving the parent pov blank- I get the below error. Error processing Data Management Step 'Test'.Error processing data. The item was not found. Entity, Parent, -1. What should I do to dynamically pull elimination for a hierarchy.

Hello, I used to work on v7.4. When we worked on cube views, changes were saved in Cube Views. It worked perfectly. Recently I began to work on v8.0.0, I noticed that when changing a Cube View, OS opens a second window for the same Cube View under CV Groups of Workspaces. If we make changes in one of the windows without refreshing, and then we modify in the other window, it doesn't take previous changes into account. It's just like the issue when two persons work in the same business rule. Do you have a solution for this issue apart from updating OS version ? Many thanks in advance.

The SQLTableEditor in question is used for user interactive CRUD pertaining to Rates used in a calculation.Use Case:I have a SQLTableEditor that holds rates.  When the table Save button is clicked, A BR saves the rates and runs a calculation.  The results of the calculation are displayed in an adjacent dashboard containing a DataGrid.  The DataGrid needs to be refreshed after the Save button is clicked.Question:How do I configure the SQLTableEditor to refresh the adjacent dashboard on clicking the Save Button, in a way similar to configuring the "Save Action" of other components?

I would like additional information on the setting in Hybrid scenario for Use Input View for Adj in Calculations. This setting is currently set to True but some of adjustments booked in actuals are not flowing to the Hybrid scenario. However if this is set to False, the adjustments are reflected in Hybrid scenario.  

Hi all, does this 2021 OS community post by OneStream still hold true? I would like the cells from the FTE row to be formatted in a certain way (for example set the background to red) when the FTE check cell amount is not zero. Is there a way other than the XFBR they suggest (which looks like an overkill for what I need to do)?Thank you

Hello, I was wondering if it is at all possible to add a type-ahead functionality in the SQL Table Editor. I have tried to assign a Bound-list (via SQL query) parameter to the column but nothing is returned.  Reason to use this is that I have a large list of values to look up from, so fitting those in a delimited list instead would really hinder the performance of my dashboard as it would take very long to open. Hi,  I am trying to create a column in cube view, and that column must average based on columns (out of the 4) that have data and ignore the column with 0 or no data. Denominator will be based on number of columns with data e.g. if columns 1 and 2 have data, then 2/4 will be the denominator. Numerator will be data that exist in those 2 columns.  Any idea how I can achieve this as Onestream doesn't support such requirement on prebuilt settings.

Hello,I have a dashboard on a workflow and the profile name is Workspace, Certify. I would like to be able to batch certify this node but I cannot because I believe the system is expecting me to manually Complete the Workspace first. Does anyone know if it is possible to either auto complete the dashboard workspace or not have to complete the workspace.I am able to batch certify once all of the node have been manually completed. Thanks!Laura

Hi All -  I have a requirement to automate the data load from ERP to OS every couple of hours and it is an On-Prem ERP.  My below is my approach. 1. I was able to integrate the ERP to OS using the Smart Integration Connector. - Completed.2. I am thinking that If I can Invoke the connector rule in the extender rule then I can schedule using the DM. Does that work ? Can I call the Connector rule ? if not any other approach available ?Please Suggest.Thanks. 

Is there a way to have a nested parameter with different dimensions? Example: If I select Year = 2020, the next prompt will ask me to select a Scenario The example I saw in the Design & Reference Guide used the same dimension, so I'm not sure if this is possible.
