Hi,We are using the capital planning module. There is a requirement from clientFor a few lines, users should not be allowed to change, modify, or delete anything.However, if he adds additional lines, he should be able to edit, add new line or remove.Example:In the budget scenario, data is copied from Actual, and it also has its own budget data.So, for data that comes from Actual, end users should not be allowed to modify or remove.However, for budget data, he should be able to update, change, and remove lines from the Capital Planning Register.Is it possible?

I have a quick question about place UD1 members in Account dimension UD1 constraint For example: In my account metadata dimension: I have 2 accounts 4001-Sale_IceCream 4002-Sale_Donut In my UD1 product dimension: I have 4 products all under one parent product Product_1,Product_2,Product_3,Product_4 I want to place Product_1, and Product_3 to the UD1 constraint in account 4001-Sale_IceCream's UD1 constraint field. But OneStream only allow me enter one product member in that filed. I can only enter Product_1 but cannot enter both Product_1  and Product_3 in the field.  Thank you so much in advance to help me get through this issue.  

Hi all,while building new classes inside a Workspace's Assembly, I'd like to get Strings in specific languages.On components, we use "XFString(<stringName>)" to get the localized string, in the User's language.How can I accomplish the same thing inside a method ? I mean, which is the equivalent for XFString inside - let's say - BRApi ? Or should I really get the localizations from the DB Table ? Thanks for Your helpRegardsFabioG

Is it possible to have a Scenario Type with a 5 year input frequency?I need to be able to load 5 years at once instead of having to change the wf year 5 times.is it possible?

Hi! Is there a way to extract the entity structure without constraints? In the current entity structure, every entity has a different UD1 constraint, but I need this to be set to Root for all entities when loading it in the other application. I know in Notepad++ you can use find/replace to modify this, but because every entity has a different UD1 constraint, it is still quite a manual process. Wondering if there is a more efficient way. Thanks in advance!

When we take an XML extract of an application with Cube Views built within Workspaces and load into a fresh application there are Cube View groups for each of the Workspace groups on the main Cube View screen/in the Default Cube Views. It is essentially making a second copy of all the Workspace Cube Views in Default. Some Data Adapters are then linking to the new Cube Views copies in Default that did not exist in the original application the XML was taken from. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is this a known bug - doesn't seem like expected behavior?   

Hi everyone; we have an application using standard elimination, we have been used eliminations between balance account and P&L accounts, I created a new account in Balance sheet accounts with plug account as Assets, create another P&L account (Revenue) using the same plug Asset account; now when runs the consolidation & Eliminations, there is a difference with balance, is unbalancing. Is there an specific configuration that I need to setup into the accounts? Thanks in advance and best Regards. Mario GV

Hi All,I am trying to create a dashboard to extract the data for the given point of intersection basically I have given all the dimension parameter for the user to select and click on the button download that runs the DataManagement job and will extract the data for the selected POV .I am able to achieve the above requirement just like an enhancement I want to also get the data of the user details who has loaded data into those point of intersection.Can some one help me with the lead how can I achieve the above user details that would be really great.Thank You  

I need to make some changes to the UD3 dimension hierarchy member names and was wondering if there is a way I can do a mass update.  For example, the coding used for UD3 name  OLD_XXX will need to change to NEW_XXX.  There’s ~266 members I need to update and many more to come.  Can you please advise if there is an easy way to make this change?  Thanks!

Hi all,I'm building a Report Component from scratch, but I'm not able to put the Application's Logo (defined in Application Properties / Logo File) in its header.I can add an Image control, but I must fill it with a file (or URL), looks like I cannot bind the control to the Application's logo (and IMHO this would be really helpful)I also tried to look at Report's Scripts, I see a lot of events, but I cannot find documentation to use them (maybe there's something I can do through them, to grab image from Application Properties, injecting it into the component)Just wondering if there's something I could do... Any help would be really appreciated

Can I extract multiple Cube Views using parameter selection in one go using a Data Management job? 

Has anyone experienced after creating a shortcut that the OneStream icon is missing from the shortcut? If so, does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I know I can create my own icon and map to it, but I would think that this should be there.  Thank you

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how can I make few rows as un editable. Example: highlighted rows in below screenshot. I remember this can be done through Row overrides but its not working. In column member filter, I defined two dimensions as below. What should I define in Row override to have 'Total Revenues', 'Total Expense' and 'Personal' rows un editable?

Hi, I'm trying to create a form with set of accounts in rows and column should be for adding the adjustments. Here, I do not required to pull any data from the cube. Instead I have to update the adjustments based on the scenario selected. This should be a separate form where the adjustments data should not update the existing forecast data. POV:             Parameters in POV are defined to pull the accounts accordingly. Rows:  Columns: Issue: I couldn't get the form with editable fields. refer screenshot below. FYI: Can Modify data for Column is set to 'True'  

Hi Folks,We have 12 forecast scenarios and 12 FX rate tables for each FC scenario.When we update the FX Rates in one table, it's upsetting the status in all other Forecast scenarios, but not Actual.We don't want other scenarios status getting affected when ever FX rates updated. and there is impact status rules exists in our application.Appreciate your advise. Hi, We're on 7.4.  Is there a way to extract a posted journal from one application so that I can easily load it to another application.  This would be super useful for investigating issues.  At present, we can easily find imported data files, and load these into our test app. But I can't see any way to extract journals in the same way.  The only options seem to be extracting a .csv file,  which has the information but is not formatted in a way that can be loaded again.

Hello,i've installed the SIC and it's Online in the "smart integration connector part" as you can see: in the error log i have this error:Summary: Smart Integration Connector Gateway Server Heartbeat has timed out for 'mantu_database_connector'. Current timeout: '5'. Last Reported Error Time: '9/25/2024 7:16:56 AM' UTC.and in the "system configuration part" i have created the a custom database which in i can see that the Mantu_database_connector is offline: if anyone knows what's the error and how to solve your help will be much appreciated.Thanks

When running a Data Mgmt Data Extract step, you can chose where you want the file saved:However, the name you provide always starts under the File Share\Applications\[App Name]\DataManagement\Export\[User Name] folder. So, the above extract would show up as File Share\Applications\MyApp\DataManagement\Export\Phil\20211202\CubeData.csvWe need these extracts to be available to users who do not have access to the individual user folders on the File Share (i.e. - they aren't Admins)Is there a way to have the Data Extract saved to a truly user defined location, like Application Database\Documents\Public\DataExtracts? How could this be done? If you run the extract from a business rule are there arguments you can pass into the data management call to override the export path? Or is there a way to programmatically move the file after it's been created?Thanks,

Hello, I have a defined a dynamic dashboard based on an SQL table component. The goal is to create dynamic dashboards based on this table. In the last column of this dashboard, I have a parameter which drives a selection based on 2 values: Manual, Predictive. My dynamic dashboard run as expected except for the last part, which I would like to have as a Radio Button Selection and should reflect what is defined in the table.     My question is : is there a way to define what would be the selection of the radio button based on a dynamic dashboard business rule ?
