Dear User Community: My users have asked me what is the major difference between version 8.4 and soon to be released 8.5. Does anyone have an answer?  Has anyone been part of the beta groups (guessing they have them)? Love to hear because we need to know if we should wait for 8.5. Thanks,SP

Hi, I am unable to access external database view via sql table editor in the Cloud OneStream (version 8.2). Can somebody suggest what can be the possible issues? It is working fine when accessing the current app database but only issue is when accessing external database. The external connections are fine as able to access the data via data adapters.

I have 1200+ orphaned members with no data in my U6 custom dimension that I'd like to delete.   The delete icon only allows 1 delete at a time.  Is there a way to perform a mass delete?

Hi All, I am trying to schedule a task in Task Scheduler to trigger a Data Management job every 180 minutes, starting at 02:50:00 AM and ending at 9:00 PM. However, when I attempt to set this up, I receive the following message. Is this a warning, or is it something that needs to be addressed in order to resolve the issue? Hello,We've recently upgraded to OFC 8.4 and after this upgrade, underlying RCM table names have been updated.For ex - XFW_RCM_ReconItems is now updated as ReconItem.Earlier on OFC 8.2 , we were able to query this table using a data adapter as well as in Business rule (DBConnInfoApp) . But now it's not working anymore. Same issue is occurring for all other RCM related tables. It does work for other tables not related to OFC/RCM (for ex - Member).Are there any restrictions in OneStream to query certain application tables? Hello,  I am wondering if there is any way to change a fiscal year once we have been using the application for quite sometime (several years.)  Our current Fiscal year is 2025 so all the data is being imported into year 2025, but we now need to adjust our fiscal year one year back.  So everything in 2025 becomes 2024.   Is this possible?  Or what options might I think about? Would I need to setup and start using a new scenario? Any ideas, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you  

how can i change the Is IC account parameter to true from 2025?  for historical data it should be false

I have captured journals at a base entity on C#OwnerPreAdj . When I process the cube, the values do not get consolidated. I have to run a Force Consolidate for the result to come through on reports.  I have set my cube settings for Calculate OwnerPreAdj if No data to True.  This is on Onestream Version 8.4.

Hi Everyone, I'm designing a form where I display accounts in rows and columns header like Beg Bal, End Bal, Variance, etc. In the rows, I've configured a member filter as follows, which pulls all accounts under the PREPAY hierarchy, but excludes A#150123: A#PREPAY.Base.Remove(150123):Name(|MFAccount| - |MFAccountDesc|) This works perfectly, as it displays all the accounts under the PREPAY hierarchy except A#150123. However, when I try to display the total, I encounter an issue. I'm using the following member filter to display the total, but it doesn't work: A#PREPAY.Remove(150123):Name(Total: Prepaid RF, net)orA#PREPAY.Remove(A#150123):Name(Total: Prepaid RF, net) As a workaround, I have displayed the accounts under PREPAY individually and used the following formula to display the total: Is there a simpler or more efficient way to achieve this without the workaround? Hi Team, The user is unable to download the OneStream Application in Edge and getting the below error.   The issue is coming from after Windows 11 upgrade, and it was working fine in Windows 10. Hi,I want to build an input form for project planning where the projects are defined in UD1 dimension, but for the rest of the columns (Start date, End Date, and Contact type) there is no dimension defined. How can i build a input form via cube view if there is no dimension defined in Onestream. But Clinet wants to input the columns data (Start date, End Date and Contact type), in the system via form. 

I would like to apply a member filter on a scenario, which will return a list of a scenarios based on it's properties like Name, Description, WorkflowTime, WorkflowStartTime, and WorkflowEndTime...i.e.  WorkflowTime = |someYear| or WorkflowStartTime = |someYear| or WorkflowEndTime = |someYear|I can do this S#Scenario.where(Name contains paramScenario) I can do this S#Scenario.where(Description contains paramDescription)I cannot do this S#Scenario.where(WorkflowTime = 2025)I cannot do this S#Scenario.where(WorkflowStartTime = 2025)I cannot do this S#Scenario.where(WorkflowEndTime = 2025)What am I missing?

Hi All I am upgrading the MarketPlace app Reporting Compliance (TCR) so that it has its own separate Workspace (V8.1). I have added the Business Rules as assembly files and they all work. The current environment (V6.8) has a Data Management job to run calculations so I am now adding a Data Management job to the WorkSpace Data Management Groups. The only problem is that when I add a step (type Execute Business Rule) to the Workspace Data Management Step, the drop down list only shows Business Rules in the general Business Rules area and not the file assembly area. How do I get the Workspace specific Business Rules in the Workspace specific Data Management Groups? Thanks

Im having an issue with a transformation rulewhere i have on stage :- Account 5115-0001-UD2 2350-UD4 2020That combination of dimensions is being assigned by the following TRA#[5015~5115-0406~0408]:UD4#[2001~2010]:UD2#[2002~2203]I believe the problem is in the Account range, but do not understand why. can someone explain the reason why?

How to prevent the orange line in this spline chart from dropping to the X-axis when it encounters a null value. Basically it should end at the last valid data point without connecting to nulls.
