Originally posted by Andrea Tout6/26/2018 Hey there! I am trying to do a spreadsheet form. So the form template is built as a dashboard because if you build a spreadsheet form, any prompts will show up as a dialogue, not be nested on top of the form. So instead I am making a dashboard that runs the spreadsheet with a combo box. It works for the most part, but every time I run it I get this error, but when I make a selection, in the combo box, it all runs fine. Has anyone seen this? I want to try this for my users but the error makes it look wonky.

Originally posted by Felipe AlcortaIn our previous consolidation/reporting tool (Tm1/IBM), we always had the ability to group certain members together without having to create a hierarchy. We could group them manually by picking them or grouping them based on a particular attribute. Can OS do anything similar? For example, if I want to group members 1, 2, 3, and 4 but they have different parents, I'm trying to replicate the XFGetCell (1+2+3+4) functionality so that I just pull a single grouped member. TIA
Originally posted by Samuel EsquedaHow can you programmatically roll through Transformation Rules? I have a BEX query that needs to query a list of nodes that I hope to save in a UD Transformation Rule. My thought is I can list the nodes in a Rule and have the users edit them as needed. When it is time to run the BEX query, I can query that Transformation Rule and use that list of nodes in the BEX query. My problem is I do not know how to roll through Transformation Rules. Anyone know if this is possible or if I should store this list elsewhere in OneStream? Any feedback is very much appreciated. Thanks!Sam
Originally posted by Darryl GerrowDoes anyone know if there is a system Metadata Dashboard that will show me when relationships change in a dimension? I seem to only see the ones that show Insert/Change/Delete members, nothing about relationships.
Originally posted by Jean-Daniel PelchatIs it possible to display a value different than the Member name of the View dimension ? For example, the View = Trailing2MonthTotal. But in the cubeview, I would like to display a shorter texte, example "Trailing 2 Mth". Thanks,
Originally posted by Justin MartinHi everyone, I noticed in the Excel Add-in settings there is a setting called "Enable Macros for XF Event Processing." In the Design and Reference Guide, it says this setting enables Excel macros for OneStream XF api calls. Does anyone know where I can find more information about this?
Originally posted by Krishna SrinivasanHi - I have a custom calc and I am trying to execute the below calculation and I am getting an error has anyone encountered it ? Is this something because the data type should be in Decimal ? Any help would be appreciated. api.data.calculate("T#2020M2=T#2020M2" * (1 +100) ) Error in DataBuffer.operator *. Error in DataBufferCell.operator *. Value was either too large or too small for a Decimal.
Originally posted by James KirkbyWe are working to build a set of cube views which will eventually become pages of a management operating deck. The cube views will contain the same set of rows month to month, however, the column set will change as the year progresses. Example: Q1 - Actual, Budget, PY Actual, Variance to Budget, Variance to Prior year Q2 - Actual, Outlook, Budget, PY Actual, Variance to Budget, Variance to Outlook, Variance Prior Year Q3 - Actual, Forecast, Budget, PY Actual, Variance...etc.... I would like to have our cube views return the correct column set based on the POV Period. I'm guessing there is more than one way to do this. Does anyone have an example of this? I was thinking an XFBR String directly in the column sharing name would work, but I'm not sure if that's allowed. Or can you only do this in Dashboards with literal value parameters? Thanks.

Originally posted by Jill BalkeIn using RCM, we have some accounts that we would like to mark as Not Required, due to mapping changes in the Transformation rules, but also, to be on the safe side, we would also like to be able to make sure that no new balances wind up in the old accounts. Is it possible to setup a Dashboard that would look at the Not Required accounts in order to ensure they truly stay at a zero balance?

Originally posted by Darrin SutherlandI have created both a Basic Chart and an Advanced Chart in a Dashboard. The Cube View for the charts has 1 row (Sales) and 4 columns (Actual, Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year). I want a bar chart that shows the four scenarios side by side. For the Basic Chart I chose a Type of Bar and for the Advanced Chart I chose a Type of BarSideBySide. In both cases, when I run the dashboard, the four data points overlay each other instead of being side by side. I can see the four different numbers on the screen, but only the top bar is visible and the others are hidden behind it. Can anyone tell me what setting I might have set incorrectly? Thank you.
