Hello Team, Need solution on the Book Creation. I am trying to create only one Loop, with two combinations example (E#Abc:U2#Xyz) and the Loop Type I have used is Comma Separated List. In excel Export Item I have attached the CV also. Where it is not updated with my Entity and Customer, because I have passed them in the Loop Definition, together. While running the Book it is running at Top Level for both Entity and Customer.  Instead of Abc & Xyz.  

Hi All, good day; last week I created Book with a word document with XFCell function and working good showing the amounts, now the same document is just showing the XFCell funcion. I also started to use the alt text {XF}{Application}{CubeViewReport}{BS_Var} but nothing shows. Does anyone knows if I need to do something different? Thanks in advance and best Regards. Mario GV

We have XFDocs set up to open in Word.  The text is Times New Roman, size 12.  Some, not all, of the text shrinks to size 10 when the document is processed.  I noticed that the text that resizes has a "Normal" style.  The text that doesn't resize doesn't seem to have a style at all.  If I copy the format of the non-styled text and paste it over the Normal style text, it won't resize when processed.Does anyone know more about this?  Is there a way to prevent the resizing or set what "Normal" should process as in OneStream?Thank you.

We are looking to wrap text both at the header and also within an annotated cell in a cube view.  WE can't find a way to wrap text but this would be nice where our uses push explanations to OS through a  cube view.

Hi team,is there a way to get the children of a member above the its row with expandable and collapse option.I know we can use the TreeDescendantsInclusiveR but we are not able to have an option for expanding and collapsing the hierarchy for example I want the expandable option on BUYBCK_MGN with expanding above in the following image   

Hi, is there a way to set up a cube view filter based on column data? For example, while reviewing the data, user would like to filter by employees that started before 2020 or filter by employees that were terminated in 2021.   

I'm new to WS assembly - trying to get a simple example of setting up an xfbr and use it in a cubeview but not successful. Here's what I did - what did I do wrong?1. Set up XFBR String Service:2. Then set up factory: 3. Then added to my maintenance units & workspace4. Added to cv:=> I get this error. Not sure why it is looking for the service factory in default.   I followed the design guide, tried all the following syntax, none have worked:XFBR(Workspace.Reporting.myAssembly.Time, SayHello)XFBR(Workspace.Current.myAssembly.Time, SayHello) Thank you.

I accidentally deleted an entire cubeview when trying to delete a row within.  Is there an easy way to recover cubeviews or does the entire platform need to be rolled back to a time before deletion?   

An advanced customer has many Cube View reports using parameters that I cannot locate anywhere in their application. -They parameters do not appear to be part of any XFBR because there are no BRs being used in the CV report. -They parameters do not appear to be part of a bound parameter or linked cube view as I extracted all reports and performed a lookup and I wasn't able to locate them. Here are some examples: |!account!| |!entity_Var!| |!scenario_Var_2!| The odd thing is the parameters worked in my local application. The prompt the report gave when running is simply “account” for the Account-related parameter. Has anybody seen these before? Are they system generated?

Hi community, Have you experience users reporting Excel Addin Ribbon disappearing from the Excel Menu ? The problem behavior is:  User reports that OneStream Excel Add-in disappeared We are able to mark it as enable again After some time the add-in gets disabled again for the same user We have tried to reinstall OneStream Excel Addin, and the add-in get enabled, but it disabled itself after some time. Users use different ERP Add-ins, it may be a compatibility issue, have you any remediation for this cases ? Regards!Carmina

Has anyone tried or had experience creating a report book for application reports? basically what I am trying to do is to create a report book to run for the Data entry audit(single user) report, when running the report book, it will loop through specific Users for "Actual" Scenario, and for time period by quarter instead of month. right now with the default set up of application, if I want to run this report for multiple users and multiple period, it's a very manual process so trying to see if there is a better way of doing this.   Thanks!

Hello,We are trying to use row and column templates in a Cube View but are using parameters to populate the names of those row and column template cube views.  We get the below error and are curious what else could be issue as we have checked values of parameters and they are pulling in values expected (names of templates).Thanks!

Hi,We have installed ONC after upgrading OneStream to version 8.5. Before that, we were using the standard application reports and attached the Intercompany Matching Report as part of one of our workflow steps. Is there a way to replace that by the ONC Intercompany report instead? It seems like we can only add the Frame_ONC_OnePlace dashboard as when we add the individual interco report we get the following prompt: Any ideas would be very appreciated.Thank you for your help!

Has anyone built a cube view, or more likely a dashboard, that can automatically compare the base level members of 2 or more hierarchies in a dimension to identify exceptions?  We do this manually now in Excel but was asked by the users to put this comparison in OneStream. I thought this might be an application report, but I don't see anything close.  Also, we are currently on v7.4, so if there is a feature in the latest version please pass along. Thanks!  

We have an Excel workbook with a *lot* of embedded cube views and table views. Some sheets have two Cube Views with Excel formulas showing significant differences. Others have stacked Cube Views showing Import, IFRS Adjustments and Total. We cannot use Books because of this. It takes about an hour to refresh the workbook so we want to automate the refresh somehow.Anyone have any suggestions about how to automate the refresh?ThanksMarcus

I'm building a cube view with the above requirements. It should should something like A#Net_Income.Tree, but in reverse and it should also exclude base members. I've tried a few combinations like A#Net_Income.TreeDescendantsInclusiveR.Where(HasChildren = True) (no results) A#Net_Income.Tree.Where(HasChildren = True) (only shows top member) A#Net_Income.ChildrenInclusiveR, A#Net_Income.Children.Children (wrong sort order) I've also tried including the .Remove() function in a few different ways with no results. Manually specifying the base members is not an option. I believe the issue is that the .Where(HasChildren = x) function is not compatible with the .tree expansion. Has anyone built a report with these requirements that could guide me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Hello,I'm using OneStream version 9.0 and have built a dynamic dashboard that serves as a container to display other dashboards. The dashboards being displayed were created in older versions of OneStream and use parameters to define embedded dashboards.When I try to open these dashboards within the dynamic dashboard, I get the following error message:#ERROR: Unable to open embedded dashboard '[dashboard to display name]' while processing component '[my embedded dashboard component]'The dashboard to display name is correct, so the parameter seems to be working. Also, when I open these dashboards directly (outside the dynamic dashboard), the embedded dashboards display correctly.Is it still possible to use parameters to define embedded dashboards within a dynamic dashboard in version 9.0?

Using an expansion such as .Tree is there a way I can have the header text display the member description for parents and the name & description for base members?

Hi, I am attempting to upload files for our Narrative reporting and I am failing miserably here... I would like a CubeView report in either Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. I have following the instructions online within Word to Insert >> Field >> DocVariable and input the Syntax as instructed: I add it to my Narrative files and keep getting errors about parameters. I went as far to change the report so there are no parameters and all the dimensions are defined within the CubeView. Any ideas what I could be missing? Or does anyone have an example of what they used for their syntax and uploads? I can't seem to find this initial step.     

Hi There, I am trying to create a book with a loop on our UD4 (project). I have it working but I want to add an IF statement to filter out tabs that contain no data. Referencing a previous post, I tried adding an IF statement to filter out an account (A#TotSGA in our case). This is the statement I am using, but it doesn't seem to work.
