Hi all, How to download the table contents from the System --> database --> Tables or Views, when I tried to download, it is allowing to download the 50 rows only - I'm not sure where is a restriction like this and how would I avoid these issues? Thanks  

We have a consolidation button in the excel add-in that does not work. However, it works fine in Spreadsheet. This is in version 8.5. I've seen others have had this error but no commentary on a solution. Is this resolved in later versions or is there something to change in the excel add-in

I have a requirement to setup auditor (view only) access within the Task Manager solution.  Unlike Account Reconciliations, there isn't a dedicated Role within the Global Options settings of the solution.  My initial thought was to assign an Auditor role to the "Viewer Group", however this would require every single task to have the role assigned.  Does anyone know of a better solution, or do we actually have to assign the viewer group on all 2,000+ tasks? E.g., regarding assigning the auditor role to the viewer group.  

Dear Community Members,Found several great posts about creating account members from a rule.  I am trying to clone a scenario member (Forecast with Range defined). I have to admit that i am running into a knowledge gap when it comes to how to create some of the properties.I am reading the properties of my source scenario and naively thought i can just use SetStoredValue with the property of the source scenario.  Got stuck at InputFrequency.Any pointers to documentation, Golfstream, Community posts, or samples would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, We are creating a user activity dashboard to monitor system activity by user.  In the TaskActivity table, there is a column for Task Type (TaskActivity.TaskActivityType), but it stores a numerical value. Does anyone know where the corresponding text description is stored to pull into a SQL dashboard data adapter? Thank you, Eric

Hi everyone, I need to delete all records from the error log, it became very slow and heavy to use. I tried the buttons abovebut they do not clear everything from it. I found some discussions partially covering the topic, they suggest to manipulate the table 'ErrorLog' via query, but it seems like that table does not exist.Is there an easy way to do it? Thank you

I've created a form template and assigned it to a workflow profile. However, each time I access that workflow profile, I have to manually click on the form to open it. Is there a way to set a default form template so that it opens automatically when a user navigates to that specific workflow profile?

Dear Community Members,Due to my error in the initial definition of culture codes I ended up with two es-MX local language options in the dim library.I removed the es-MX culture code. One of the two options went away in the DimLibrary, but the second one persists.Then i removed all descriptions from the MemberDescription table where CultureCode = es-MX.  Still the DimLibrary shows Spanish AND even more surprising shows the Spanish descriptions.Which leads me to believe that those descriptions are cached somewhere?Any tips?  My ultimate goal is to have es-MX culture code and local descriptions. But only one Spanish in the DimLibrary.SystemConfig (this is a locally hosted client) only has en-US definedMemberDescription Table has only Englishbut DimLibrary still has Spanish descriptions but only where defined before. Other members that never had a local translation do not show Spanish (Mexico), see Scenario Actual below.Thanks in advance

Hi,  I am in the process of testing security for applications. I have view dimension library access, I do not have manage meta data access. I have added security groups to access and maintenance groups for which i only have access to "Access group". I cannot edit any members, which is correct based on my security, but i am trying to understand the reason why the meta data is not greyed out? It appears as normal, and i can edit, but when i try save the changes, it says i do not have access. Which is great, it means it works. I was just expecting it to be greyed out like for example cube views. Just curious as to why meta data isnt greyed out as well? Would appreciate any feedback

I have an AIP (annual incentive plan) input form whose input range from 0 to 2. Can I create formatting rules to restrict users from entering any number beyond the mentioned range?

Hi,  at the moment we are migrating OS from v6 to v8. The logon procedure in V6 and V8 is SSO, while login in V6 on there is a small pop-up window to choose an account for OS. This pop-up automatically closes after the choice. In V8 the button External provider sign in is not there, instead via logon it opens a full window that does not close automatically.  is there are solution to get this full web-page closed in v8?   thanks,

I need to automate a process of Extracting certain Dimension Descriptions into a Comma Delimited text file for exporting into PowerBI.  The application extract puts it into an XML format, and I need it into a comma delimited file.  Any suggestions?

Hi All,In your OneStream implementation, how many environments do you have?  Dev, UAT and Prod?Or do you also have Pre-Prod environment that is common in ERP systems?Also, in the UAT environment do you also have copy of data so that when testing happens or developers need to test the changes - there is enough sample data to test?Would you consider brininging data from Prod, randomize it and load into UAT env so that UAT env data at all intersections as Prod?Thanks!

Hi! We are trying to control the size increase in our production application. We know the growth comes from: Stage tables that allow users to drill down and back onto source data. Data records Audit tables (they can grow a lots if they are recording continuous changes to rules, data for example) Logs which will impact Framework database growth (task activity and error logs, will vary depending on the detail login set in BR, DM and on the system configuration as well as your retention policy) Load transactional data, which will increate your data units and data records unnececarily, which BIBlend should be used for this type of data load instead of loading it to the finance cube. We have analyzed it and we realized the StageAttributeTable and other stage tables has a significant size. Has ayone performed databse maintenance by deleting data from the stage tables? Is it possible to do that while keeping the cube data intact and workflows completed? Any ideas or best practices regarding

Hi, I'm seeing this error for a user that has been setup in OneStream. We've attempted to exit out of the application and run it, but the same error message persist. So far no one else is experiencing a similar issue. Has anyone experience this issue? Would it be simply a configuration issue? Thanks

Hi, After we recently upgraded to V8.5 , it seems the slice security has stopped working. Can anyone suggest what would have gone wrong? Cube Data Access Security for Entity is True The parameters are set as  User is in group and Data cell in the Filter -> Apply access and stop (Read Only) User is in group and Data cell is not in the Filter -> Apply access and continue (No access) User is NOT in group and Data cell is not in the Filter -> Apply access and continue (No access) In the Account filter , am passing 1 account say Sales but when am checking the access , user is able to access all the accounts. There is no other security available in this particular base cube other than this
