unmapped item in TB to map to a specific member during the data load

Hi,

Do we have a mechanism to map unmapped item to a holding member ( specific member of the dimension) during the data load to prevent data load failure.

Hi Sw, 
That is what the validation is for. It is all about data quality before reaching the cube. To check that everything is mapped correctly. In your case you could map the unmapped item to a specific member using a mask rule.

Sure. Let's say you have unmapped items and you want them to be mapped to TEMP member, then in your mask rule you would have :
