QTD < YTD <MTD view in the form

We are trying to input data on monthly basis for forecast and actual. As in next step if we want to see QTD view which should be M1+M2+M3 , but its not working. 

how does this QTD and MTD workflow works in the form ??

In historical data its working perfectly fine.

What is the Account Type?  BS Account Type will not be M1+M2+M3.

if it's PL accounts you should have the following, QTD is the quarter to date.
