I just want to confirm how the data copy works in Data Management

Hi, just want to confirm how the data copy works in Data Management...assuming all intersections from the Source are copied over to the Target? There is no capability to copy all data from source at a specific UD member to another UD member thru the Copy interface? Suppose a Business rule would be required instead?

    From a data management copy data step perspective, you can only copy at the data unit level, you cannot hone in on specific intersections in the account-like dimensions. A custom calculate finance BR that uses a calculate function with an Eval and filtering would be your best bet. I am attaching a KB article that walks you through how to create a custom calc BR that is then executed by a DM job
