I have a fixed width file format but I have a document number that the client wants to import as an attribute but it doesn't repeat on all rows.

The document number appears on line 1 and then all rows under it use that same document number until a new document number is displayed. Has anyone come across this? Any suggestions on how I can handle it?

I think you just need to change the field Data Type setting on the Data Adapter from Text to Stored Text.
