I got the error below, which I realize is in the BI Blend Design Guide, but I am not sure how to diagnose the cause of it.

I am trying to come up with an Analytic Blend example with the client's metadata/data on the UPS project. I have put Building and Division as Attributes 1 and 2, respectively. I did not put aggregation points for either of them in the BI Blend workflow however. I did put aggregation points well below the dimension tops for some but not all dimensions.

The Dimension set as the Blend Unit, must also be set with a member as an aggregation property. If you have translation on you must have Entity and Account set to an aggregation. Lastly, your data coming in writes to base members of dimensions. Do you have an aggregation set to a parent outside these base members. Such as you are loading all PL but you set the aggregation to TotalAssets
