Flag that prevents a user from posting their own journal

We have many small controllerships that have to back each other up so they have access to submit and approve/post a journal but we need to be able to prevent them form posting their own journal. This is an audit requirement

Hi! I believe you posted a few things that were actually meant for the IdeaStream boards, requesting enhancements, so I moved them there.

I'm a bit unsure about this particular one though, since I believe this is already doable via an Event Handler business rule; are you interested in getting a solution, or is this another request to "please make this easier to achieve"?

Hi Yes I would be interested in understanding how to do this with an event handler in the short term but also think this should be an option on the journals to make it easier to achieve
