Hello - I'm looking for a formula to calculate data from one entity to another for two specific accounts. I would just use a standard data management job for this since the amounts are not changing, however I want the sign to change, so the amounts will net to zero when the entities are consolidated in the same structure. Can I use api.data.calculate for this? And if so, would the formula be stored on the two accounts? 

Hello All,We are having a requirement where we need to export Dynamic Calc members through FDX. We have few dynamic accounts which are complex and it refers to different time periods like (T#POVPrior, T#2023, T#2022). So whenever we run the export, it generates a very huge amount of error logs , 1 Million, referring to the T# Summary: Error processing script '((Divide(A#ABC:U8#Sample,A#DEF:U8#None))*100)'. Unable to execute formula for member 'ABC'. Invalid script 'A#DEF:I#Top:T#LastActualPeriod- A#IJK:V#YTD' near 'T#'Here LastActualPeriod will be calculated based on current actual period, Example T#2022M1Any idea why this happens and any alternate ideas to come out of this and export the Dyn Calc Accounts.Thanks in advance for your help !

I am converting one Hyperion Planning application to OneStream application and would like to know how to use if statement to check calculation flag. For example: I have 3 dimensions Account dimension has the following 3 members Sales Rebate Rebate_Flag UD1 - Product Dimension has many Members TOTAL_Product  Parent member with children(Product_1,Product_2,Product_3,,,,,,Product_N). Hi, does anyone have any idea on the functionality of 'Revert to Default Scenario' setting for a scenario type in the member formula? Apparently, when a calc is written in the default scenario, it gets executed for ALL scenario types regardless of whether the revert to default scenario setting is set to True or False. Any help/lead about the use of this setting is appreciated. Thanks!   JackLacava   

Hi, I have a requirement to export 2 files and then merge it into single file. While the export can be done via OOTB DM step, I wonder if we have any api or default function which can be used to merge the 2 exported files?

Hello Community, I am encountering an issue with a Data Management Sequence consisting of four steps. The first step is not executing as expected. If anyone has insights into potential causes, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Details of the sequence are as follows: The first step is dependent on the successful completion of the second step. The first step involves executing a Business Rule (BR) that includes an Extensibility Rule. The remaining three steps are custom calculations utilizing the Finance rule type.When I run the sequence after running the 1st step separately, it is working fine. But the issue is When i try to run the Sequence which is having all 4 steps it is not working fine  Thank you in advance for your help.

I use the Text3 field in Flow members to hold a status value. I have a BR that is creating one Flow member at a time. When the BR runs the line with SaveMemberInfo, every one of my flow member's Text3 values are changed to values that are incorrect. Does anyone have any thoughts on why this is happening. I have the existing BR rule to export the region hierarchy which is working for last one year without any issues and I am trying to reuse the BR rule for country hierarchy export purpose. I copied & pasted the BR rules, and I am getting the error below while compling. Hello every expert: I am not able to reference a different scenario member in custom calculation business rule. I tried the following api.Data.Calculate("S#Forecast=S#Actual","A#10100" ...........) in the finance business rule I created. When I run the rule through Data Management Step, I have to specify Scenario and I select Forecast, I got error S#Actual is not valid dimension member when I run the business rule through custom calculate step. Hi all, I have a member formula with simple calculation (e.g., Account A / Account B), and there is a data access security set up upon account A. I am wondering if a user without account A access, can the user be able to see the calculated result? My hunch is that it will show access on the end results, may I know how OneStream will handle this? Thank you.

Dear Team, while opening the cube view, I am experiencing issue " Value was either too large or too small for a Decimal."  I can see that in BR for EndBal, one of the divided formula causing the issue I am thinking. I would like to give my users the ability to launch the DM sequence from the workflow step. I have the dashboard with the button that passes the parameters to the DM package and launches the package. The last step in the DM sequence runs the Extensibility BR that completes the workflow step. Everything seems to work except that the workflow step window does not refresh after the sequence completion. The workflow step appears incomplete even though it is. The click on the "refresh Application" icon is required. Is there a way to address it? My Extensible BR is below:  

This is a doubt with the rest of the questions I have, and is that in the new workflow I created, when I hit complete worklfow there are two data management that are not executed (COPY_PLP_TO_PLN, PROCESS_PLP), which are below, but I try it in other workflows and it works correctly. Then I wanted to know how I can solve this in the new workflow, so that when I complete the workflow it also runs those data management as in the others.    

Is there any way I Can enter a +ve or -ve value based on the text property if a Flow member in a form. I think a Save Data Event Handler can, but I will throw an error if the only after the form is saved. What if the cell color will change (Just like in Excel) if the value enter on the form  should  +ve or -ve value based on the text property if a Flow member. is this achievable.   TIA, Nik
