Dear community,

I am exploring the "web content" dashboard component, but it seems that it doesn't allow to open any "https" websites.

--> Are there any way to allow integrating secured http webpages ?

Hey Sergey,

I seem to be able to drop "https://www.google.com/" onto a web content component and view it without problems.

Thanks Daniel !

So https doesn't seem to be the issue ... weird that pages like https://www.twitter.com will throw an error message stating that the browser is outdated. I guess there are other issues at stake.

What version of OneStream are you using? With version 7.0.1 we moved to Microsoft Edge WebView2 as web engine for the web content component, before it was the internet explorer engine.

I want to bring this back up, I'm trying to pass a web content component through to my dashboard, but I'm struggling with the data adapter. It looks like 'Method' might be the best way, but I'm just not sure.  What is the best practice here?

I'm just testing something out, like putting a tableau dashboard into a OneStream Dashboard and setting it as the home screen.

would love some advice on how to accomplish this. I'm struggling to find the right blog post or article that outlines how to accomplish this.

Not sure what you mean. The Web Content component does not require any data adapter. Maybe post some screenshots of what you are working on... :)
