Report Books - Adding an excel file (using XFGetCell)

Hello, I have multiple excel files using XFGetCell to pull data from OS.  What I would like to do is, (1) create a report book that includes the XFGetCell formulas to refresh data when the report is ran, (2) Set up a DM/Parcel Service to automate sending the file to both OS and non-OS users.  

Is there a way to do this?  I do not want to re-create these files as cube views because they are customized for our reporting requirements and have some intricate calculations.

Look at Extensible Document Framework

The extensible Excel, saved with ....xfdoc.xlsx, will be refreshed when the book/xlsx is opened

Just throwing it out there. I don’t know if it’ll work.

But have you experimented w/ running Excel file via Books? I know you can loop and parametrized atleast in my experience w/ Cube Views.
