Genesis: Instances reducing performances

Hi

we have lately discovered that OneStream was very slow when going into Application/Workspaces. Totally 26 seconds.

As a test I have then deleted 1 instance, and it reduced the waiting time with 6 seconds.

The instance  is totally 264.000 lines, and file size is 40 MB.

Any suggestion on how to avoid Genesis slowing the system?

Are we the only how has discovered Genesis impact on performance?

 

We are only testing Genesis now, but going forward we are worried what impact using several instances of Genesis would have on performance.

I would recommend that you follow up with Support on this to demystify.  Please be sure to let them know the following:

  1. Which OneStream Platform version you are using?
  2. Which Genesis version you are using?
  3. Any related information e.g. not sure what # of lines and file size is referring to
