Entity Dimensions - Hierarchy

Hi All, 
Can you help me please? 

Within the Hierarchy for the business, there is a section called GroupEntity. 
No one is claiming use of this and so I would like to delete it, if possible, to avoid the extra maintenance needed to keep the structure in line with the others each time a change is needed. 

Is there a way to see where this has been used or gets referenced?

I guess I could just delete this and wait for people to shout but if there is a better way to approach this - Please let me know?

There is no way to really do this. Best way I can think of is to do searches within application XML extracts to see if its referenced in things like Cube View or Dashboard properties.
