Hello 2025 and Farewell 2024! We hope everyone enjoyed a lovely New Years! Whether you toasted a loved one at midnight or were fast asleep, we're wishing our entire community a happy and healthy 2025. We've got one last look back to make on 2024 by sharing our highlights from December.  We'd love to hear feedback on the new community experience. We know some things have been a bit bumpy, but we believe most things have been rectified by now. If not, please do let us know! The Community upgrade is now live! Our team has put together this blog to help you more quickly understand changes, enhancements and new features! Please note this post is not meant to be all encompassing and we recommend checking out our Frequently Asked Questions page in addition to this blog. So now, to the changes! WHEN IT COMES TO POSTING: First things first, how do you start a new thread? Navigate to the forum board that you wish to start a new topic inside of. For example, at the top navigation, select 'Forums' and click the drop down to select the forum board you wish to post in.   You’ll then see on the right-hand side a button to “Start a Discussion”     Inside your post, you’ll see some things have changed. For example, inputting code. To insert code, you’ll select the ellipis icon on the far-right side of the formatting bar   Selecting that will display a drop down, where you’ll click this icon  {;} A new window will pop up to Insert/Edit Code Sa

All New Community, All New Highlights! We hope everyone is enjoying the fresh new aesthetic of the OneStream Community! As we get ready to usher in the New Year, we’d be remiss if we didn't reflect on November. We know our highlights are slightly delayed as compared to usual, and we do apologize, but the platform upgrade changed our team views Community reports. Because of this change, we’ll be changing the format of our Community Highlights. Please note: there’s a good chance this format will continue to evolve. We’re working behind the scenes to analyze new data and different reports to provide our users the most useful and interesting data that we can.  All that being said, let’s reflect on this past November! Howdy folks! As a reminder, we are rapidly approaching the Community platform upgrade, slated for Wednesday, December 4. We anticipate downtime and some things looking wonky up until noon EST. Please bear with us as we get everything updated and sorted. Here's what you can expect while the upgrade takes place:  December 4  1am- 6am EST - Community platform magic begins! 7am EST- SSO back up and running! AKA: users will be able to login again 8-12pm EST- visual enhancements are put in place For those in time zones ahead of EST, we expect you might have several hours where the community is unavailable. We apologize for that. Unfortunately, it's unavoidable BUT we promise it'll be worth it  😀 Additionally, we will post a helpful blog to get you oriented with the upgraded community. We are excited for you to try out the new OneStream Community!

Community Platform Upgrade On December 4th, our Community is getting a big upgrade! The transition has been a long time in the works and we’ll be transitioning from Khoros Classic to Khoros Aurora. While the vendor isn’t changing, the entire site is going to look completely different. We’ll have a much more modern and streamlined look that coincides with OneStream’s new branding. Don’t worry -- all your favorite features will remain! Expect some all-new features, a new landing page and of course new graphics. Please bear with us on December 4th -- we're anticipating some potential downtime and 503 errors on the day of launch. By noon EST everything should be straightened out. We’re doing our very best to test the new platform in the meantime and hope our Community users experience a seamless transition. More details to come!

October 2024: Farewell Spooky Season Although it's time to put away our ghosts and ghouls, at least we can leave out the pumpkins for the time being. While the days are feeling especially short thanks to daylight savings, that means the holidays are right around the corner. In North America we're slipping into the season of giving with Thanksgiving only a few short weeks away. Time flies and it'll be 2025 before we know it! This will be the final Community highlight prior to transitioning to our new platform, Aurora. New OneStream Certification Exam Vendor With Updated Processes On October 25, 2024, the OneStream Certification Program’s exam proctoring partner will transition from Examity to MonitorEDU. If you already hold a OneStream Certification, this proctor experience will differ slightly when you take a future exam. What’s staying the same? Just about everything! To register for an exam, you will still log into CertMetrics via the OneStream Portal and SSO to TestWise to select your exam. Then, you will select your date and time with the new, virtual exam proctor, MonitorEDU. You will receive a confirmation email. What’s changing? On exam day, you will still log into CertMetrics via the OneStream Portal and SSO to TestWise to begin your exam, however, you will now need TWO cameras; a webcam AND a mobile device to be proctored. September 2024: Fall into Fall  As the days grow shorter and the leaves start to change, we're starting to get some cooler weather in North America. We're fast approaching fall and soon we'll be doing that whole daylight savings thing. On the topic of weather, we want to say we're thinking of everyone affected by the tumultuous hurricane season this year.   You may have seen the announcement about the launch of the OneStream Certified Associate (OCA) in Administration R2 exam on September 24, 2024. With this launch, the OneStream Certified Associate (OCA) in Administration R1 exam will retire on November 24, 2024, sixty days after the release of the new R2 exam. What does this mean to me? · Once a certification exam retires, certifications associated with that exam can no longer be extended - this is why you are receiving this email. · At this time, you: o retain your OCA in Administration R1 certification through your current expiration date. o are able to extend your OCA in Administration R1 certification, following all OnePoints requirements, through November 24, 2024. · After November 24, 2024, you will: o retain your OCA in Administration R1 certification through your current expiration date. o need to pass the OCA in Administration R2 exam to keep your Administration certification current after your OCA in Administration R1
