View txt members and consoliation

Looking to start using the View txt fields (Annotation, Assumptions…) and understand that there is no natural way to have that information aggregated/consolidated up. I am told that a BR is needed to do this. Just checking to see if this is correct and if anybody has had success in this getting it to work. Ideal use would be for our regional leaders to be able to see summary comments on specific line items that we report on.
