Hey folks, Just wondering if we can automate IIS reset in the task scheduler. I don't see any Snippets or related BRApis in the Extensibility Business Rules. Surfed through various Community posts but, didn't help much. Any guidance here will be helpful.  

Dear Community, How to get multiple time period data in FDX ?  We have data's in row manner. We need it in column wise. The data is imported into a table using FdxExecuteDataUnit function. 

I have an issue with the member formula with the below condition. It checks for Account Type Revenue or Expense. However if the Account Type is Revenue or Expense, still the condition is not met. Is there any issue with the way the condition is written? Hello,   I am trying to set up a business rule that seeds the forecast from actuals to the forecast. This works easily when I am not using all entities to seed. However, I need to somehow take the actual data from each base entity and copy it all into 1 entity for the forecast. The client only needs to forecast at 1 entity but wants to include the actuals from every base. Is this possible to do in 1 rule? I know you can't have the entity on the left side of the calculation so I'm not sure how to solve.   Thanks!

Good morning all! I'm hoping somebody can put me on the right path...! I'm writing a rule with a data buffer. I want to filter the data buffer so it only runs where needed. I put in the following filter relating to the Text6 field. This syntax works in a cube view (I've tested this) but it doesn't seem to work in the vb.net rule. Can anyone tell me what I should use here instead to return only when text 6 is not blank? Many thanks,Richard

Hello, I am trying to seed data from Actual to Forecast scenario. I am running the Business Rule through a DM step, whose data unit contains the forecast scenario, so that it picks this forecast scenario in the destination string. My Actual (Detail level accounts) are on more granular level and extend my planning accounts (plan and forecast accounts). The planning accounts are on top level.  Now, when i try to seed the data, it picks the Planning Accounts (since i have Forecast Account in my DM step), due to which my  Actual accounts are not picked up by the process. and the data copy is partial. I am trying this by using DataBuffer. Please let me know if there are any suggestions or solution to this. Thanks

How do you consolidate currency overrides using alternative currencies e.g. Base Entity and immediate parent are in EUR and ultimate parent is in USD. Client wants to view consolidated view of immediate parent in USD including the currency overrides. The same reverse is required for USD entity rolling up to EUR. We have created alternate flow members but the aggregation is a challenge.

Everyone, we are trying to create a data buffer using GetDataBufferUsingFormula where we would like to have the current entity or all the DU member's information included. Is there a way to do that? the idea is to get the buffer and then apply a filter based on the entity key. 

I showed it at Wave and share it with all of you: when you use JSON to log, you can log anything, not just strings, you can log a Dictionary, a list, a MemberInfo, even a Databuffer. Hi All- we have a situation where we are receiving two separate ledgers, one in Local currency and one in USD. The USD ledger includes adjustment and revaluation effects on several accounts in addition to translation. For non-USD entities we are just utilizing the Flow dimension and a USD Override base member to store the USD value, with a business rule to override the USD translated value with the USD value from the second ledger. For USD entities this isn't working, and we get a formula error if we try to force C#Local to differ from C#USD. Is it possible to set the value of C#USD to a different value than C#Local for a USD entity?

Hi Everyone. I am performing a conversion in a SQL query using currencies; I relied on this other post for now. Where is stored the Currency Name ?  The problem I have is that I have some SourceCurrencyId in the FXrates table that don't appear there, so I want to know if there's a way to get all possible currency names through a business rule.
